An interesting and unique mechanic has been brought to our attention. This mechanic takes the intervention step further than it previously was able to. Essentially, it can turn an intervention situation into a 2 v 2 (or 3 v 3 etc) situation. There are, however, a few rules....

  • The added participants to the fights must be decided upon by all participants.
  • The sides must be equal after the participants are added.
  • You must first interfere and use your 2 allotted interference turns before this can be considered. You do not both have to be interfering at the same time in the fight. (E.g. I interfere when Nutmeg is fighting Guardian Agogo. I use my two turns and leave. Vivi interferes later on in the fight. His two turns are ended. Once his two turns are over, all participants can be consulted on whether they wish to turn the fight into a 2 v 2.)
  • In the case of an NPC battle, the NPC will always agree to a 2 v2 situaton.
  • The added participants have the option of counting it as a day. If they do not count it as a day, then you do not gain any benefits from this battle such as Zenkai or Bio-Android moves.
  • If you do count it as a day, then you gain all benefits as normal.
  • The battle is still counted as being "Interfered" on even if it is turned into a 2 v 2.
  • All restrictions on consumable items and RESTRICTED moves are removed.
  • Signatures may not be used by the added participants until 8 turns have passed after they are added, regardless of other effects.
  • Normal Multi-Battle rules will apply once it becomes a 2v2
