King Vegeta sat on his chair, tapping his fingers impatiently. He could feel the power of the Guru, it was immense. It must have been as high as his own, and yet it was dwindling. The Royal Saiyan knew not what creature was fighting the Guru. He only knew that it was winning. Suddenly, he felt the power vanish. Did the Guru die? King Vegeta knew that he did not have to wait long for news. He could already hear footsteps running towards his tent. Was this war over? The King ran his hands through his hair. He was getting tired. He wanted revenge for his son and he was still angry but it was beginning to be a chore to go onto the front lines and kill the enemy. That was never a good sign for the commander of an Army, and so King Vegeta wished for the war to end. “Your Majesty, we have urgent news from Counselor Rampion. The Guru was fighting a Bio-Android of Red Ribbon Army make. We do not know which model it is but it appears to have won.” The large Saiyan touched his knee to the ground as he spoke. His voice rose upwards significantly when speaking about the defeat of the Guru but fell before too much longer. “There is other news, Your Majesty. We have heard reports of powerful enemy troops making their move on our leaders. Rampion’s projections were defeated in multiple locations and…General Leek has been killed, Your Majesty." The Saiyan King stood up at this news. He tried to express gratitude for sharing the news but it only came out in a jumbled mess. So much to think on! The Guru was defeated. That would mean the rest of this war would be just rounding up pockets of resistance. He would have to thank the Red Ribbon Army and their desire to help him, even if it was for selfish reasons. On the other hand, he had lost his most trusted General. He felt pain in his chest at the mere thought. King Vegeta grew up looking up to the General as if to an older brother. His death would be a major blow to his army. The next few days consisted largely of defeating small pockets of resistance and setting up camps to control the Namekian population. They had not come here to conquer but they could not leave now. Not without exposing their back to a possible enemy. The soldiers began to call for their families, realizing that many of them would be living on Namek for some time until the King decided that they no longer had to occupy the planet. It wouldn’t be long until the King heard more grave news, however. “Your Majesty, there have been disturbing reports concerning your cousin, the Viscount.” Rampion said as she swayed seductively. The King was in mourning over many family members and she was alluring but he knew better than to fall for her tricks. She wanted power and would do whatever was required to get it. It was one of the reasons he trusted her as an advisor. If he tied her status to his own then she could not help but attempt to aid him. “What has he done now?” The King barked as he walked through one of the many Namekian villages they had occupied. The Namekians had balked at the Saiyans living in the homes of their dead comrades, so they had already begun building their own homes here for their extended stay. The King himself wished to get home soon but knew it would be at least a year before he could. This project would take too much effort in order to solidify themselves as the major political power on Namek. “He…Apologies, Your Majesty, but may I speak freely?” Rampion said in a rare moment of hesitance. “As my advisor, you always have the right to do so.” King Vegeta said as he watched a Namekian child pick up a stone. What would the child do? The child carried it over and placed it on a spot on a new building. Interesting, they were willing to help them build their houses? Perhaps this wouldn’t be so difficult. “He…the lunatic has finally cracked. He has attempted to destroy Namek.” Rampion said, careful due to the relations the two shared. The King was always threatened by Wrolen, but Rampion knew that deep down he cared about his cousin. Why else would he have kept him alive as anything more than a weapon? “The fool! We have won the war! We do not need any more hostility from the natives. This operation will already be difficult enough! Where is he? We all know that only I will be able to stop him. Even then, I may need your help Rampion. If he truly has lost it and fully assumed his Legendary Super Saiyan Form, then we may need more than one regular Super Saiyan and with Leek dead…we are all that is left.” The King said before pointing at his squire and yelling at him to gather his battle gear. “Actually, Your Majesty, it seems that the problem has already been dealt with. The mercenary Gatas defeated him singlehandedly. Your cousin has died.” Rampion said with a satisfied smirk. She always did hate the man but the hatred stemmed only from his obscene power that he possessed so naturally. “Well, I will grieve for my cousin but what must be done must be done. I only wonder how someone could be powerful enough to defeat Wrolen alone. Who is this Gatas. Get me all the information you can on her and give me a full report on whether she is a threat. We will eliminate her if she appears to be hostile to us in any way in the future.” The King said as his jaw dropped. “What….who is summoning that?” The sky had darkened and a giant green dragon seemed to fill the entire horizon. “Porunga...This should be impossible. Your majesty, the Guru is still alive. This will spark hope. We must figure out if the Guru lives still and, if he does, kill him. If we cannot find the Guru himself…well we must convince the populous he is dead either way. I have plans…” Rampion smiled. Her projection gem had other uses, if one knew what they were doing. Suddenly, as if by some magic that was even beyond Rampion’s comprehension, the world began to chatter. People were popping up all over. Rampion clearly saw a Saiyan warrior that she watched die through one of her projections. There were Namekian Warriors as well. Everyone who had died in the war was back to life.
