The fight was brutal, but the horned monster was eventually felled by the might of the martial artist, standing little chance against the combination of his mastery of the way of the monkey and the power of the divinity elixir. The monk stood triumphant over his defeated foe, glowing with fell power and beaming with pride. He had done it; he had defeated the boss monster all on his own! Such a feat was unexpected for one so new to the way of the world but in his haste he discovered a grand new pow-

”What else is there to kill?” Wrolen asked abruptly, never breaking his stoic expression.

”Im sorry, what do you mean? That was the boss.”

Wrolen’s fingers drummed on the table. ”Listen, a round of combat takes six seconds, which means that fight only took twelve seconds.” He leaned back in his chair, his tail swaying slightly like a metronome. ”I’ve got about nine minutes before the potion wears off, give me another.”

”Listen man, there aren’t any doors in the woods for you to kick down. Just take your exp and be happy you won.” Wrolen glared at the DM for a solid twenty seconds until the Namekian began to sweat. ”Uh… I mean… The monster had allies of course! And… and… the nearest one saw you kill his comrade!’

The trees stirred and their branches shook as the leathery wings of another creature buffeted the party.

”Mwe-he-he! You may have bested my brother but I doubt your mighty fists will reach me up here!’ The creature begins dropping stones and… other debris upon the party. What do you do?

”I heal Yu.” Uh, ok Yu is healed for 9 Hp, what else?

”I cast feather on Yu. Ok… does anyone want to do anything that doesn’t involve buffing the monk?

”I throw Yu at the monster.” Oh c’mon! Ugh, the monk is thrown into he air, you miss and he overshoots the creature. ”Sorry.”

Wrolen stares at the board, counting squares on the grid and trying to estimate his position. ”What are my options?”

”Uh, well you can make a tumble check to try to direct your fall.”

”Eighteen.

The monk falls rom the sky, but manages to aim for the winged abomination as he does, catching it by surprise.

”Ok you get the first shot again, it’s a sneak attack from above so make it count.
