History: Jebediah Irons was born in the southern United States at a time where the inter-planetary conflicts were all the rage. However, the young Texan had no television and no real access to news other than what his parents would tell him. He grew up on an old fashioned farm with an old fashioned family. The only town nearby was comparable to the Amish in terms of technological advancement, and the fact that all of its residents hated all the new-fangled technology and aliens didn't help it. So our protagonist Jeb grew up in a shockingly normal life, never straying too far from his town where he married a beautiful girl, and had beautiful kids. He worked his ranch, and his family worked on the ranch, and he generally wanted for nothing as there was nothing he knew he wanted more. Due to the fact that the town was so out of the way, they rarely if ever had to deal with the aliens, or many modern folks at all. Some wide-eyed tourist pranced through in their fancy cars now and then, but otherwise the people of the town were left well enough alone. Old Jeb might've lived out the rest of his days on his ranch if it weren't for the sudden but inevitable tragic plot twist. Some aliens decided they wanted to take their fight somewhere vaguely empty, and ended up right near Jeb's ranch. The collateral damage of their fight demolished his farm, and killed everyone who lived there; His wife, his children, and their children- all lost. There was nothing Jeb could do, except be out for the blood of those aliens. The only problem was, he didn't know what aliens had gone done it. Guess he'd have to kill 'em all. You may initiate a challenge on someone who is not human. They must accept regardless of whether they have accepted a challenge this week. Moveset Mastery [0/1 Slot] Skills [2/4 Slots] Way of The Gun [FREESTYLE, CONSTANT SKILL] Description: Expert shooting is hard to come by. As distance increases, so does the chances of missing your shot ... usually. Those who have practiced with their iron will come to know success regardless of distance. Effect: CONSTANT - Your attacks that require a Gun cannot be STOPPED by defensive roll results of 11 or less. Your attacks that require a Gun cannot have their dice rolls or results reduced by your opponent's effects. Your defensive roll results against moves that require a Weapon gain +2. Costs 2 KI Points. Requirements: Gun Training Days: 2 Sense Power Level [FREESTYLE, LATENT SKILL] Description: The ability to sense a ki signature approaching, even at a distance. Effect: Activate at the start of a match. If you have to roll to see who begins the match, your roll gains +10 to the result. If your opponent's Level is higher than yours, your first two defensive roll result gain +5 and your escape rolls gain +1 to the combined result. Costs 0 KI Points. Advanced Attacks [2/6 Slots] Firing Blind [FREESTYLE, ENERGY, WEAPON] Description: A wild spray of gunfire, firing wide in a desperate hope of hitting something -- anything. Quantity over quality. Effect: Energy attack doing (5% Power) Damage per hit. Your attack roll is 8d28 with this attack. If your opponent's defensive roll result is 10 or less, it gains +4 to the results. SUCCESSFUL - If 5 or more dice rolls are SUCCESSFUL, your opponent cannot activate a Skill for their next 2 turns. This effect does not stack with itself, it must expire before it can be reset. Costs 1 KI Points. Requirements: Gun Weapon Training Days: 2 Pistol Whip [FREESTYLE, PHYSICAL, WEAPON] Description: A crack to the opponent's skull with either the butt or the barrel of the gun. Simple, yet effective. Effect: Physical attack doing (25% Power) Damage. SUCCESSFUL - If your attack roll result is 20 or more, STUN. If you have STUNNED an opponent with this attack, you must perform this attack on your next turn or pass. If you do, it costs -1 KI Point to a minimum of 0 KI Points. STOPPED - If your attack roll result is 10 or less, you cannot perform an attack that requires a Gun on your next turn. Costs 1 KI Point. Requirements: Gun Weapon Training Days: 3 Blocks [1/2 Slots] Limb Twist [AKAIKARU, BLOCK] Description: As an opponent’s fist or leg comes in for a hit, the user sidesteps and ensnares the offender’s arm or leg, using momentum as leverage to fling them onto their back. Effect: RESTRICTEDx1. Block. Stop a physical attack. You may pay 1 ki to perform an advanced attack before the end of this turn. You must pay the cost for that attack. Costs X-2 KI Points.
