History: Leopold's family has been masquerading on Earth as 'Humans' for generations. It has been so long, in fact, that Leopold didn't even know he was a Tuffle until much later in his life. He grew up a patriot for his planet. Earth had been embroiled in galactic turmoil time and time again, yet it stood strong. It was a testament to the strength of the heroes who had lived there in the distant past. What was truly inspiring about this was that in the grand scheme of things, Humans were not very strong. But what they lacked in strength, they made up for in perseverance. It was these notions that indoctrinated Leopold as a youth, and now, as an adult, he truly regards himself as a human despite knowledge otherwise. He will fight and die for his planet if need be, and he will be proud doing it. One advantage he has over his fellow human beings is his gifted technological intellect. Leopold has used this talent to create a 'ship' in hopes of being able to face off against the more combative races. This ship is quick, and lithe, allowing a capable pilot to move around the battlefield with ease. It is also equipped to operate in surface gravity, which is an incredibly rare trait in ships. Leopold uses this to his advantage, discarding the common tactic of fighting man to man. He prefers to stay in his ship for combat. As far as his occupation, he has spent most of his life working in military bases and labs, developing weapons, ships, and other things for the humans. He is a true blue Red Ribbon Army loyalist, and he will do anything to protect the sanctity of Earth. Gain +1 Skill slot. Red Ribbon Cape [EQUIPPED] Inventory Slots: 1 Description: A colossal cape designed to be worn by a humanoid ship. It has a large RRA insignia on it. [ACCESSORY] Effect: +5% Power. +2% Dexterity. Once per match, during your attack phase, you may gain 2 ki. Medium Storage Capsule [1,900z] Inventory Slots: 0 Description:Small and light weight capsule that when thrown, or the button is depressed, expands into a medium storage container. It can then revert back to the light weight capsule. Effect: +2 Inventory Slots. 1/3 Senzu Bean [2,000z] Inventory Slots: 1 Description: A bean with supernatural properties allowing for the regeneration of health. Effect: Use when you lose a battle. You do not die and you Gain (10% Total HP) HP. Notes: Only one healing item may be used per Battle or Spar. Senzu Root [500z] Inventory Slots: 1 Description: The actual root of a senzu plant. This one-time injection of custom made nanites provides a small boost in physical prowess, allowing the Tuffle increased strength and endurance. Moveset Mastery [1/1 Slot] Fierce Focus Mastery [KIIHAKAI, MASTERY] Description: Teachers of the Ki-based style often feel that though they are indeed focused on power, it is not about mindless destruction. There is a large amount of discipline and focus behind mastering your Ki, unlike mastering more brutal physical arts. Therefore a Kiihakai master should realize that their greatest assets can be their other skills, their techniques, and their experience which they should focus their attention on. Effect: At the start of each match, choose a Kiihakai CONSTANT Skill in your moveset. You may activate that Skill at the start of combat (before any turns) at a cost of 0 Ki points. Twice per match, when one of your Kiihakai CONSTANT Skills would be deactivated, you may negate the effect. Once per match, when one of your Freestyle CONSTANT Skills would be deactivated, you may negate the effect. Requirements: You must know at least three (3) Kiihakai attacks,skills, and/or blocks. Training Days: 5 Skills [4/5 Slots] Energy Gathering [KIIHAKAI, SKILL] Description: A soft, translucent aura surrounds the user at all times as they slowly but steadily gather energy. The aura is only noticed by the force it exerts on the nearby detritus. Effect: CONSTANT - Whenever you gain KI Points, gain +1 KI Point. Costs 2 KI Points. Requirements: N/A Training Days: 2 Focus Breaker [KIIHAKAI, SKILL] Description: If you find yourself too focused that you have now become distracted from the battle at hand, it's time to focus your energies into simple survival. Effect: CONSTANT - You may choose to deactivate one of your Skills with a 'CONSTANT' effect in order to STOP an attack that is not a Signature Technique. If you do, you cannot activate that Skill for the remainder of combat. Costs 2 KI Points. Requirements: N/A Training Days: 2 Power Boost [KIIHAKAI, SKILL] Description:Sometimes it is a worthy cause to spend time charging an attack before unleashing it at its maximum potential for a devastating blow. Effect: CONSTANT - You may skip any of your ACTION PHASES. If you do, and if you perform an energy attack on your following turn, it does +(20% Power) Damage, gains +5 to the result(s), and gains “SUCCESSFUL - Gain 1 KI Point. If the attack roll was a natural Perfect Roll, gain 3 KI Points instead.” Costs 2 KI Points. Requirements: N/A Training Days: 2 Redirected Energy [KIIHAKAI, SKILL] Description: A student of Kiihakai must know that when all else fails they can rely on pumping out their devastating attacks to wipe out their enemies. Effect: CONSTANT - When one of your Skills is deactivated, your next Kiihakai attack costs -X KI Points. X = The cost of the Skill - 1. Costs 1 KI Points. Requirements: N/A Training Days: 2 Basic Attacks Basic Punch - (10% Power) Damage. Costs 0 KI Points. Basic Kick - (10% Power) Damage. Costs 0 KI Points. Basic Ki Blast - (10% Power) Damage. Advanced Attacks [2/5 Slots] Devastating Blade [ENERGY, BLAST] Description: Extending index and middle finger to one of their temples (akin to the motion for Special Beam Cannon), the user channels a spark of energy. Extending their arm to point at their opponent, an intense blast of ki is sent hurtling forward in the form of a flying blade. Effect: Energy attack doing (65% Power) Damage. SUCCESSFUL - The next time one of your CONSTANT skills would be deactivated, it remains in play. Costs 3 KI Points. Requirements: N/A Training Days: 4 Big Shot [ENERGY, BLAST] Description: Ascending to the heavens, the Kiihakai student charges a sphere of ki that is roughly double the height of the attacker himself! The large sphere is fired directly from the palm as a powerful blast. Effect: RESTRICTED x1. Energy attack doing (55% Power) Damage. SUCCESSFUL - If your attack roll is 20 or higher, activate all of your Skills with a 'CONSTANT' effect. After 3 of your turns, deactivate all of your Skills with a 'CONSTANT' effect that were activated in this way. Costs 3 KI Points. Requirements: N/A Training Days: 2 Signature Techniques [2 Slots] Rollback Barrage [ENERGY, VOLLEY, BLAST] Description: The user concentrates their energy into a small orb before spinning it rapidly. Thanks to the amount of condensed energy, and the speed at which it spins, the user is able to pull identical orbs from alternate timelines, and launch all of them at the enemy, causing wild distortions of time. Effect: RESTRICTED x1. Energy attack doing (15% Power) Damage per hit. Your attack roll is 8d30 for this attack. SUCCESSFUL - For every two dice rolls that are SUCCESSFUL, you may reactivate one skill with a CONSTANT effect that was deactivated/negated this fight, ignoring all requirements.
