| Hello! Welcome to Broken Futures!
Although we are a based on Dragon Ball keep in mind that we use it for the elements the show brought to us. We are not using ANY canon characters, only the world in which the show was built on. We are mostly a free form RPG with some stats to help track character growth. However, for the most part, your stats only matter in important fights or large events ran by a GM/DM.
We don't have any specific guidelines on what can or cannot be written about. So long as the Zetaboards ToS isn't violated. If a topic gets mature, keep it reasonable and do your best not to violate the host ToS. We don't like to limit you to what you want to write about and will trust your judgement not to make any posts in the extreme.
We are set in Future Trunks' timeline so the world is in ruin. Which would classify it as post-apoc. It's always been the best-styled setting to build a new world on top of. We have built this site to be based around the actions of the players. You will help build the world you're playing in. Every action within major events will influence how the world structures itself.
We have no word count, no canon face claims, no post formatting and no drama. We want you to come here and have fun. Before you sign up, please look over the Game a bit to decide if you are interested. After you've made an account make sure to introduce yourself here and say hello in the Chatbox. We love new members and are a very welcoming bunch of people.

Fission blaster [1:1] skill description: Years of practice at splitting his power has taught Torasin how to increase his power by fully powering both halves of the division. This massive energy burst is not without cost. the use drains Torasin terribly requireing his to rest after its use. notes: Allows Torasin to duplicate any spirit attack he uses with in a post. It doubles the attacks cost and Torasin may make no combat the next round. requirements: {be Torasin, 200 spirit} cost the cost of the technique used to fuel Fission blaster.

Spoiler: click to toggle Burning knuckle [1:5] Technique Torasin encases his fist in Ki force lending his spirit to his physical strength. Torasin punches forward and is literally hurled forward up to five feet. If he encounters anything it takes the brunt of the assault. If Torasin fails to hit anything the energy disappates. This can be used twice per level and deals 10% strength and 5% spirit damage. At max level it deals 50% strength and 25% spirit damage. This drains 5% of Torasin's PL {strength 10 spirit 8}
Blast Wave [1:4] Attack Torasin slams his fist into the ground releasing his ki force. A jet of energy rips across the ground until it contacts something. Upon contact the energy wave explodes sending a pressure wave out as a secondary attack. The blast wave must originate from solid ground as such it can't be used in the air or on the water. If the wave was to leave the ground either due to going over the edge of a cliff or hitting water it explodes immediately. Deals 50% of spirit in damage per level. {25 Strength, 25 Spirit} -15% power level, once per thread, twice at 4
Buckshot Barrage [1:5] Attack Torasin cups his hands with his fingers ten inches apart. Within his hand a number of glowing orbs form. The orbs are the size of peas. On contact, these orbs explode, and can be fired from Torasin's hands in a shotgun-pattern or cone. This orbs may also be fired in a fast, rapid motion as well. 6 orbs are created per level and each orb does 5% of spirit per level. Damages anything within the designated blast radius, with a maximum of Torasin's Spirit*.75 Up to 4 orbs may be designated towards 2 specific targets. {20 Spirit} -Once per level per thread, 15% power level-
Buckshot Barrage (Bird Shot) [1:4] The smaller variant of Torasin's Buckshot Barrage. These are barely the size of motes. There are 100 orbs created per level and each orb does 1.25% of spirit per level. Damages anything within the designated blast radius, with a maximum of Torasin's Spirit*.75 Up to 30 orbs may be designated towards three specific targets. {Buckshot Barrage [2:5], 25 Spirit} -Once per level per thread, 20% power level-
Buckshot Barrage (Deer Slug) [1:5] The lethal variation of Torasin's Buckshot Barrage. Created the same way, but produces a single orb. Does 70% of Torasin's Spirit in damage per level. {Buckshot Barrage [4:5] Spirit 60} -Once per thread, 20% Power Level-
buckshot barrage (erupting fist) [1:1] Technique The ultimate form of buckshot barrage. Once the orbs are formed they begin to orbit the right fist of Torasin. Torasin then activates burning knuckle and the orbs them stall his launch mergeing into his burning first. HE then punches forward but rather then launching forward he is driven back by a massive cone of energy that explodes forward. The blast radious at its maximum is fifty feet wide and three hundred feet long. It devastates the area for 400% of Torasin's spirit stat. If his spirit stat is more then 50% greater then his strength he is launched backwards and sustains 5% of his total Pl in damage. It costs 30% of his Pl to use and may only be used once per thread. Once fired Torasin must rest after useing so much of his energy. He can react physically but is unable to use his Ki due to expending so much at once. {buckshot Barrage [5:5], buckshot barrage (deer Slug) [5:5] burning Knuckle [5:5] PL 1500 Spirit 75}
Bands of Might [3:5] Item-Armor demonic bands of cloth that adhere to the flesh of the wearer. They feed off of the life force of the user. Unlike a parasite they replace what they take filtering the blood of the host. The new blood returned enhances the spirit and body of the host. This item grants a +2 boost to Spirit and Strength per level for attacks. . {be Torasin 20 strength, 20 spirit} -None-
heat ray [1:5] Attack Description the user draws their ki force into their eyes then heat the gathering energy. This ray burns whatever it hits. It can be used for other purposes then combat but it was made for battle. Effect deals 30% spirit damage at level one, 50% at level 2, 70% at level 3 90% at level 4, At level 5 it deals 100% the first round and 30% the second round. {40 spirit} 10% BP at level 5 15% BP
Hurricane punch [1:2] Attack Torasin winds up for a massive assault beginning with rotating his arm at sonic speeds. After enough velocity has been built up air begins to move around his forearm building to a miniature wind vortex around his arm and fist. The vortex is then used with a powerful punch. The wind force is capable of deflecting projectiles or people. At Level 1 the punch will deliver 75% strength damage and the storm will inflict 50% spirit damage. At level two the punch deals 125% strength damage and the storm deals 100% spirit damage. This can only be dodged by Techniques. Incoming projectiles with a stat check less than Torasin's Spirit get deflected. People that fail a stat check of less then 50% of Torasin's spirit stat get deflected away from him. This can be arrested by flight powers. {40 Strength and 40 Spirit} -This costs 20% of his PL. Can be used once per level-
I am invincible [1:2] Technique Description: Torasin after his many battles has learned a thing or to about taking a hit. He has learned how to pull all sources of damage to himself. This is a dangerous skill for him to deploy as it requires him to remain still as well as drawing potentially fatal amounts of damage to himself. It should be noted that this only works on projectile damage sources. Notes: At level one all projectile damage is drawn in to Torasin. At level two the damage is only able to leave him at 1% BP. This can only be used once per thread. {requirements 2000 PL 60 spirit level 2 5000 PL 180 spirit}
Your strength is my Power [1:5] Skill Torasin has learned to deal with pain. He has learned how to let it full his body to new heights of power. All damage dealt to him while using this skill grants renewed strength. Torasin must remain non-aggressive in the post this skill is used. Notes: This tech allows Torasin to absorb all damage he would receive for one post. This damage is converted to BP and can restore his PL only up to 100%. This can only be used once per thread, and only functions at 5:5 {requirements 2000 PL 60 spirit 50 strength I am invincible [1:2]}
Vulcan cannon [1:4] attack description: The user crosses their arms palm out in front of them. They then begin to channel their Ki force into a small orb the size of a grape. They then slide their arms apart until their palms are crossed before them. Then slowly they push the orb forward until their arms are fully extended. Then they fully charge their Ki through their hands and the orbs expands to the size of a baseball. The attack to be over charged if give the time to charge. notes: Can be charged for extra damage for up to two posts. Also note that if they are attacked and suffer more then 20% of their bp in damage while charging the orb explodes dealing half the orbs damage to anyone in range. At level one deals 50%/55%/60% spirit damage. At level two deals 75%/85%/95% spirit damage. At level three the orb deals 100%/120%/140% spirit damage. At level four it deals 150%/200%/250% spirit damage. This costs 10% plus 3% per post charged. {spirit 50}

Requirements {50 strength} -14% power level, once every other level per thread-
Remote Kamehameha [1:2] Attack Torasin after mastering the Kamehameha began to test the potential of being able to fire it off from a location other then his hands. After much trial and being exploded more then a few times he developed the remote Kamehameha. This trick utilized a basic ki blast as a base. By either going through the motions or holding two fingers to his forehead he was able to fire a Kamehameha blast from the ki orb. Deals 130% Spirit in Physical Damage at [1:2] or 180% Spirit in Physical Damage at [2:2]. This attack may be launched from any location as long as Torasin can see the location. This can be used twice per level per thread. {Ki blast [5:5], Kamehameha [3:3], 75 Spirit} -15% BP/PL
Thunderclap [1:4] Attack description: Torasin from his encounter with a Sayain warrior understands how great strength can create a shock wave. He Claps his hands together sharply and creates a massive pressure wave in front of him. The pressure wave effects everything in front of him for one thousand yards. This massive Kamehameha barrage is focused on the center blast. This attack takes a post to charge up. Notes: This techniques deals 100% spirit per beam. There can only be up to nine orbs plus the center blast. Requirements: {spirit 200, Kamehameha 3:3, remote Kamehameha 2:2, buckshot barrage 5:5} - costs 90% of BP, once per thread-

Yes this looks good, and as D said your suggested fix for Remote kmhmh is good, if you could just add theta to the ATBS and you're good with D's suggested fix for buckshot, which should also be applied to all buckshot ATBS based on Buckshot, then we'll be good to go.

As for buckshot I never intended for it to be targetable. If I wanted it to target someone I will make a seperate ATBS for that purpose.

Then how does it work, does one orb hit only one person, if it's just a random shot why can't someone just say 'nah it just misses me because it doesn't target?'

It's a matter of dispersion so at a mid range they are still clustered to a degree. Plus at a long range it is meant as an AoE explosion. I know it limits the potential of the attack but there is a madness to my method.

Mmk, it can't work like that, it either needs to be able to target a number of people with set damages for how much is done to each target, or it does a set amount to everyone around regardless.

I mean if you look how I use it I generally use it for blowing up the battlefield or to assault giant targets. If it needs rebuilding show me what you want.

I told you want needed to be done, either you have a clause that says can target up to X people and do X damage divided evenly/as chosen among them. Or 'deals damage to all opponents for x damage'

Buckshot Barrage [1:5] attack Torasin cups his hands with his fingers ten inches apart. Within his hand a number of glowing orbs form. The orbs are the size of peas. These orbs explode on contact but alone are not the strongest form of attack. They can be launched out in a cluster, or cone at low levels. At the maximum level they can be fired much like a gatling gun. It may be used once per level per thread. This ATBS will damage all characters in the blast radius around a designated target. At level one there are 8 orbs each orb hits for 5% of his Spirit stat. At level two there are 11 orbs and each hits for 10% of his spirit stat. At level three there are 15 orbs each hits for 15% of his spirit stat. At level four there are 20 orbs and each hits for 20% of his spirit stat. At level five there are thirty orbs and they hit for 25% of his spirit stat. This costs 1% of Torasin's PL per 2 orbs summoned. This attack can deal X damage to an area where X is based on the number of orbs used. At level 5 the user can target up to six orbs to a target can only target up to two targets and mst maintain eye contact. {spirit 15}
Buckshot Barrage (bird shot) [1:4] The first variation of Torasin's buckshot barrage. This form is actually weaker on the front as the orbs are smaller. These are barely the size of motes. However; they make up for weakness and lack of size with numbers there are infinitely more of these then the traditional form. It may be used once per level per thread. This ATBS will damage all characters in the blast radius around a designated target. At level one they hit for 1% of his spirit stat and there are 50 orbs. At level two they hit for 2% of his spirit stat and there are one hundred orbs. At level three the hit for 3% of his spirit stat and there are 200 orbs. At the fourth level they hit for 5% of his spirit stat and there are 400 orbs. This costs orbs/20 of Torasin's PL. This attack can deal X damage to an area where X is based on the number of orbs used. At level 5 the user can target up to six orbs to a target can only target up to two targets and mst maintain eye contact.
{buckshot barrage [2:5] spirit 25} Buckshot Barrage (deer slug) [1:5] The second variation of buckshot barrage. Where the other two forms are about low damage to high volume of orbs this form is all about the damage. The orbs form much like the traditional form however the similarities end there. The orbs merge into a single orb. This orb is considerably more powerful than the smaller orbs it formed from. It may be used once per thread regardless of level. At level one it strikes for 125% of Torasin's spirit stat. At level two it strikes for 150% of Torasin's spirit stat. at level three it deals 175% of Torasin's spirit stat. At level four it deals 200% of his spirit stat. At level 5 it deals 250% of his spirit stat. It costs 20% of Torasin's PL. {buckshot barrage [4:5] spirit 60}
including deer slug but it is a single orb so I don't think it needs revamping but will if I am wrong.

I'm gonna rewrite these moves and make them prettier. What you want exactly is complicated.
Buckshot Family
{Buckshot Barrage [4:5] Spirit 60} -Once per thread, 20% Power Level-
But, I think I did them right. Pls like them i tried
