Hello! Welcome to Broken Futures!

Although we are a based on Dragon Ball keep in mind that we use it for the elements the show brought to us. We are not using ANY canon characters, only the world in which the show was built on. We are mostly a free form RPG with some stats to help track character growth. However, for the most part, your stats only matter in important fights or large events ran by a GM/DM.

We don't have any specific guidelines on what can or cannot be written about. So long as the Zetaboards ToS isn't violated. If a topic gets mature, keep it reasonable and do your best not to violate the host ToS. We don't like to limit you to what you want to write about and will trust your judgement not to make any posts in the extreme.

We are set in Future Trunks' timeline so the world is in ruin. Which would classify it as post-apoc. It's always been the best-styled setting to build a new world on top of. We have built this site to be based around the actions of the players. You will help build the world you're playing in. Every action within major events will influence how the world structures itself.

We have no word count, no canon face claims, no post formatting and no drama. We want you to come here and have fun. Before you sign up, please look over the Game a bit to decide if you are interested. After you've made an account make sure to introduce yourself here and say hello in the Chatbox. We love new members and are a very welcoming bunch of people.

Fission blaster [1:1] skill
description: Years of practice at splitting his power has taught Torasin how to increase his power by fully powering both halves of the division. This massive energy burst is not without cost. the use drains Torasin terribly requireing his to rest after its use.
notes: Allows Torasin to duplicate any spirit attack he uses with in a post. It doubles the attacks cost and Torasin may make no combat the next round.
requirements: {be Torasin, 200 spirit} cost the cost of the technique used to fuel Fission blaster.

Yes this looks good, and as D said your suggested fix for Remote kmhmh is good, if you could just add theta to the ATBS and you're good with D's suggested fix for buckshot, which should also be applied to all buckshot ATBS based on Buckshot, then we'll be good to go.

Remote Kamehameha [1:2] Attack
Torasin after mastering the Kamehameha began to test the potential of being able to fire it off from a location other then his hands. After much trial and being exploded more then a few times he developed the remote Kamehameha. This trick utilized a basic ki blast as a base. By either going through the motions or holding two fingers to his forehead he was able to fire a Kamehameha blast from the ki orb.
Deals 130% Spirit in Physical Damage at [1:2] or 180% Spirit in Physical Damage at [2:2]. This attack may be launched from any location as long as Torasin can see the location. This can be used twice per level per thread.
{Ki blast [5:5], Kamehameha [3:3], 75 Spirit} -15% BP/PL

As for buckshot I never intended for it to be targetable. If I wanted it to target someone I will make a seperate ATBS for that purpose.

Then how does it work, does one orb hit only one person, if it's just a random shot why can't someone just say 'nah it just misses me because it doesn't target?'

It's a matter of dispersion so at a mid range they are still clustered to a degree. Plus at a long range it is meant as an AoE explosion. I know it limits the potential of the attack but there is a madness to my method.

Mmk, it can't work like that, it either needs to be able to target a number of people with set damages for how much is done to each target, or it does a set amount to everyone around regardless.

I mean if you look how I use it I generally use it for blowing up the battlefield or to assault giant targets. If it needs rebuilding show me what you want.

I told you want needed to be done, either you have a clause that says can target up to X people and do X damage divided evenly/as chosen among them. Or 'deals damage to all opponents for x damage'

Buckshot Barrage [1:5] attack
Torasin cups his hands with his fingers ten inches apart. Within his hand a number of glowing orbs form. The orbs are the size of peas. These orbs explode on contact but alone are not the strongest form of attack. They can be launched out in a cluster, or cone at low levels. At the maximum level they can be fired much like a gatling gun. It may be used once per level per thread. This ATBS will damage all characters in the blast radius around a designated target. At level one there are 8 orbs each orb hits for 5% of his Spirit stat. At level two there are 11 orbs and each hits for 10% of his spirit stat. At level three there are 15 orbs each hits for 15% of his spirit stat. At level four there are 20 orbs and each hits for 20% of his spirit stat. At level five there are thirty orbs and they hit for 25% of his spirit stat. This costs 1% of Torasin's PL per 2 orbs summoned. This attack can deal X damage to an area where X is based on the number of orbs used. At level 5 the user can target up to six orbs to a target can only target up to two targets and mst maintain eye contact.
{spirit 15}

Buckshot Barrage (bird shot) [1:4]
The first variation of Torasin's buckshot barrage. This form is actually weaker on the front as the orbs are smaller. These are barely the size of motes. However; they make up for weakness and lack of size with numbers there are infinitely more of these then the traditional form. It may be used once per level per thread. This ATBS will damage all characters in the blast radius around a designated target. At level one they hit for 1% of his spirit stat and there are 50 orbs. At level two they hit for 2% of his spirit stat and there are one hundred orbs. At level three the hit for 3% of his spirit stat and there are 200 orbs. At the fourth level they hit for 5% of his spirit stat and there are 400 orbs. This costs orbs/20 of Torasin's PL. This attack can deal X damage to an area where X is based on the number of orbs used. At level 5 the user can target up to six orbs to a target can only target up to two targets and mst maintain eye contact.

{buckshot barrage [2:5] spirit 25}
Buckshot Barrage (deer slug) [1:5]
The second variation of buckshot barrage. Where the other two forms are about low damage to high volume of orbs this form is all about the damage. The orbs form much like the traditional form however the similarities end there. The orbs merge into a single orb. This orb is considerably more powerful than the smaller orbs it formed from. It may be used once per thread regardless of level. At level one it strikes for 125% of Torasin's spirit stat. At level two it strikes for 150% of Torasin's spirit stat. at level three it deals 175% of Torasin's spirit stat. At level four it deals 200% of his spirit stat. At level 5 it deals 250% of his spirit stat. It costs 20% of Torasin's PL.
{buckshot barrage [4:5] spirit 60}

including deer slug but it is a single orb so I don't think it needs revamping but will if I am wrong.
