| Hello! Welcome to Broken Futures!
Although we are a based on Dragon Ball keep in mind that we use it for the elements the show brought to us. We are not using ANY canon characters, only the world in which the show was built on. We are mostly a free form RPG with some stats to help track character growth. However, for the most part, your stats only matter in important fights or large events ran by a GM/DM.
We don't have any specific guidelines on what can or cannot be written about. So long as the Zetaboards ToS isn't violated. If a topic gets mature, keep it reasonable and do your best not to violate the host ToS. We don't like to limit you to what you want to write about and will trust your judgement not to make any posts in the extreme.
We are set in Future Trunks' timeline so the world is in ruin. Which would classify it as post-apoc. It's always been the best-styled setting to build a new world on top of. We have built this site to be based around the actions of the players. You will help build the world you're playing in. Every action within major events will influence how the world structures itself.
We have no word count, no canon face claims, no post formatting and no drama. We want you to come here and have fun. Before you sign up, please look over the Game a bit to decide if you are interested. After you've made an account make sure to introduce yourself here and say hello in the Chatbox. We love new members and are a very welcoming bunch of people.

WWIII began in May 2010. The bombings started mid-July, and were done by the first week in August. Anyone who was over the age of 19 was gone, the exception of specific military groups and a couple civilian conspiracy theorists who were expecting the worst. The last of earth's survivors gathered in groups, and the city of Brookfield was perhaps the best example of what the surviving kids could accomplish.
Since the war, there have been invasions, disease, fires, military occupation, and shootings. Through it all, the residents of Brookfield have stuck together and not only survived, but thrived. They have power, water, working telephones, and they have set up civil services that they felt were necessary to run the city. They continue to strive toward regaining some semblance of normality in their day to day lives, but in a world wrecked by chaos, what is normal? Join a tribe and Keep the Dream Alive.
