Hello! Welcome to Broken Futures!

Although we are a based on Dragon Ball keep in mind that we use it for the elements the show brought to us. We are not using ANY canon characters, only the world in which the show was built on. We are mostly a free form RPG with some stats to help track character growth. However, for the most part, your stats only matter in important fights or large events ran by a GM/DM.

We don't have any specific guidelines on what can or cannot be written about. So long as the Zetaboards ToS isn't violated. If a topic gets mature, keep it reasonable and do your best not to violate the host ToS. We don't like to limit you to what you want to write about and will trust your judgement not to make any posts in the extreme.

We are set in Future Trunks' timeline so the world is in ruin. Which would classify it as post-apoc. It's always been the best-styled setting to build a new world on top of. We have built this site to be based around the actions of the players. You will help build the world you're playing in. Every action within major events will influence how the world structures itself.

We have no word count, no canon face claims, no post formatting and no drama. We want you to come here and have fun. Increases the user's Spirit by 35% per level whenever using Ki Sense or Ki Track for the stat check only (Does not Modify Damage).
Successful Ki Sense use now allows the user to sense most living things around them and detect the subtle differences between them for identifying races.
This skill does not work against All Machine characters.

I hate it a little but people can just make enhanced versions of ki blocking, so....approved.

Mental Lock Down [1:3] Technique
Some attacks against the human mind persist even after the initial defense against it. This technique allows a human to further reinforce the natural defense of their complex mind against it.
Prevents all non-damage effects of any opposing Wisdom, Aptitude, or Item Willpower ATBS or from affecting the user and prevents the non-damage effects of the ATBS or Item from affecting them again for one additional post per level.
Each level adds an additional use to Mental Sever.
{Mental Sever [3:3]} Requires one use of Mental Sever.

For this mental lockdown I'd say another use at 1 and another use at 3 would be okay. Something about six uses seems like too much but 5? Feels better.

Defeating a harder opponent sometimes requires you to hit them...well...harder.
Deals Strength*1.15 at [1:4], Strength*1.35 at [2:4], Strength*1.55 at [3:4], or Strength*1.75 at [4:4] in Physical Damage.
Increases the user's Max PL by 5% per level during the attack only.
{Normal Kicks and Punches [3:3]} -9% PL. Once per level per thread.

The user issues a pair of invisible blasts of concussive energy that curve toward their target from separate directions, threatening to incapacitate and subdue their target upon converging with it. This attack may prove lethal against those who cannot withstand its crushing force.
Deals Spirit*0.4 per level in Physical Damage.
Increases the Spirit Stat by X% during the Attack only. X = 4 per level

Jack creates an alternative defense against harm to compensate for the flaws in his Wall. He manifests a swirling vortex of energy at a target location that guards against alternative means of harm from magical, technological, or psychic sources.
Blocks 1 Mental Attack.
{Against the Wall [2:2]} -10% PL. Once per level per thread.

It's not really that hard to get, and not a very deep investment.

Having thought about and discussed it, I have figured a way to do away with Jack's unused traits, redesign his character a little, improve him statistically and aesthetically, and provide a new outlet for story and character development. I wish to make him half breed with certain benefits. He will retain Human as his primary and become Anthro as his secondary.

Blessed Human will be the trait he receives from his secondary.

As for the request attached to it...

The line 'but only for the user's attacks' makes me think that your stats are reduced too somehow?
