Hello! Welcome to Broken Futures!

Although we are a based on Dragon Ball keep in mind that we use it for the elements the show brought to us. We are not using ANY canon characters, only the world in which the show was built on. We are mostly a free form RPG with some stats to help track character growth. However, for the most part, your stats only matter in important fights or large events ran by a GM/DM.

We don't have any specific guidelines on what can or cannot be written about. So long as the Zetaboards ToS isn't violated. If a topic gets mature, keep it reasonable and do your best not to violate the host ToS. We don't like to limit you to what you want to write about and will trust your judgement not to make any posts in the extreme.

We are set in Future Trunks' timeline so the world is in ruin. Which would classify it as post-apoc. It's always been the best-styled setting to build a new world on top of. We have built this site to be based around the actions of the players. You will help build the world you're playing in. Every action within major events will influence how the world structures itself.

We have no word count, no canon face claims, no post formatting and no drama. We want you to come here and have fun. Not really sure here. The utility is literally off the charts but if someone can find you it doesn't matter anyway.

I can actually approve this for now. Regen exists in a lot of forms and I think this is fine.

Because this only works on ATBS that force a check themselves, I think I can approve this too.

Removed added cost for added effectiveness. Increased base cost. And rather than destroy an item, it merely reduces its level for the duration of a thread.

While I'm aware this 100% utility, I have to wonder if it's too much utility. +30% to two stats, -45% to costs. If you aren't dealing damage, there's no downsides (and you aren't going to be dealing damage while this active, anyhow).

At this point I'm just not sure if it's too good. At 50/50, it's -25 levels. I think I might like this more if there was more interaction with it, but as it seems it's just a 'I pop your items' technique. I'm gonna post some examples of other item destruction I've approved to show I don't hate item destruction in general, but just think this one might be too easy.

This takes a CRAZY amount of wisdom to actually work, but it does have the benefit of hitting all items. That being said, at level 5 and (200 wisdom) it's still only hitting items at 4 levels a post.


I'd feel better about Spark's if it had a limitation on it instead of just being so binary, cheap, and repeatable, especially at it's requirements.

How about this for a compromise? The amount reduced scales with the level, capping at 50% of the lower Stat between Wisdom and Aptitude at [10:10]. The cost is now 15% PL instead of 10% PL. And it is limited to 5 uses per thread.
