| Hello! Welcome to Broken Futures!
Although we are a based on Dragon Ball keep in mind that we use it for the elements the show brought to us. We are not using ANY canon characters, only the world in which the show was built on. We are mostly a free form RPG with some stats to help track character growth. However, for the most part, your stats only matter in important fights or large events ran by a GM/DM.
We don't have any specific guidelines on what can or cannot be written about. So long as the Zetaboards ToS isn't violated. If a topic gets mature, keep it reasonable and do your best not to violate the host ToS. We don't like to limit you to what you want to write about and will trust your judgement not to make any posts in the extreme.
We are set in Future Trunks' timeline so the world is in ruin. Which would classify it as post-apoc. It's always been the best-styled setting to build a new world on top of. We have built this site to be based around the actions of the players. You will help build the world you're playing in. Every action within major events will influence how the world structures itself.
We have no word count, no canon face claims, no post formatting and no drama. We want you to come here and have fun. Expedient Weapon Auras [1:1] -Ability- The act of gathering the magic for weapon auras take some time, time that would be better suited for fighting against others instead. This ability allows the user to do just that, expend more energy now to get into the fight right away. The user can pay an additional 5% of their PL to activate a "Weapon Aura" Technique alongside another ATBS. {60 Wisdom, 60 Dexterity, Weapon Auras} -As above-

[tab=Weapons] Carbonite Short Sword [1:10] Weapon Created by Celeste at Bloom's request, this is a short sword created using Carbonite, an unique non-metallic metal alloy. Black in color, the weapon has a rough texture besides for the edges of the blade. Gives +2 to Dexterity per level when used with an ATBS. {Weaponsmithing} -None- [/tab]

Passive Energy Collection [1:1] -Ability- In combat, energy used to fight each other is often lost when the attack is avoided/blocked/parried. This energy can be collected, and put to great use in battle, if you're careful enough. A "Weapon Aura" ATBS must be active to apply these effects. Whenever the user defends against an ATBS, a magical charge of energy manifests itself near the user that may be used for additional effects. The charges remain until used or until the user no longer has a "Weapon Aura" active. [30 Wisdom, Weapon Auras] -None-

Unwavering Defense, First Stance [1:5] Technique Weapon held straight towards the opponent, this stance is designed for defensive parrying of the opponent's attacks. In this stance, the user makes no attacks, but flows through the offense and comes out unscathed. While active, the user may not perform an offensive action during the post this stance is successfully used. For each level, the user's dexterity is increased by 5 for defensive stat checks. Allows the user to parry any Strength or Dexterity attack made against them if the user's Dex is higher than the attack's stat. {Sword Stances, 30 Dex} -4% Power level per attack parried

Same weapon, more levels. Do note that I consider 'with an ATBS' to be calculated in the damage dealt as well, which is why I made this have six more levels than the piece it's based on.

The only "nerf" here is that the damage scales with levels so as to provide additional incentive to max it to optimize its effects.

I removed all the unnecessary math involved and simplified the activation requirement. Also, I really, highly recommend that you think this one over a little more and supply it with some actual effects so that you aren't wasting EXP on what amounts to a convoluted crafting skill.

Changed it to 60% at max level, and lowered the active cost to 3%.

Just posting to say I think 5% per post is nicer, considering it's a +10 Dex/Wisdom as well as +60% Wisdom to blade attacks.

Ah phooey, I put it to 3% because of the elemental Harmony cost. But, I can keep it at 5. Man, Bloom is gonna need to get some heals to keep all these costs going.

Changed name to Weapon Aura, to make it less restrictive.

Changed effect slightly to clarify a charge is generated whenever the user successfully defends, as that is what I want it to do.
