Hello! Welcome to Broken Futures!

Although we are a based on Dragon Ball keep in mind that we use it for the elements the show brought to us. We are not using ANY canon characters, only the world in which the show was built on. We are mostly a free form RPG with some stats to help track character growth. However, for the most part, your stats only matter in important fights or large events ran by a GM/DM.

We don't have any specific guidelines on what can or cannot be written about. So long as the Zetaboards ToS isn't violated. If a topic gets mature, keep it reasonable and do your best not to violate the host ToS. We don't like to limit you to what you want to write about and will trust your judgement not to make any posts in the extreme.

We are set in Future Trunks' timeline so the world is in ruin. Which would classify it as post-apoc. It's always been the best-styled setting to build a new world on top of. We have built this site to be based around the actions of the players. You will help build the world you're playing in. Every action within major events will influence how the world structures itself.

We have no word count, no canon face claims, no post formatting and no drama. We want you to come here and have fun. Adding a fluffy thing since those requests are all but complete.

Backpack of Holding [1:1] Item
Kamrun has played around with allowing her backpack to carry as much as she needs while on the road without increasing the strain on her back. Because the items are stored in a dimension outside of time, things like pershibal foods can also be stored. No living things though, there’s no air in there.
Allows Kamrun to carry a large supply of items.

This ability reverses the effects of an ATBS that has incapacitated or removed a limb, a sense, or another vital physical or mental ability, (ie Limb Break, Accupressure). Additionally this ability can be used to remove these same injuries that had happened in the past, as well as heal scars. If the target is not already below 0, this can also save them from life-threatening injuries such as being cut in half. If used on targets that already have regenerative abilities, it simply boosts their own to be instantaneous with no PL cost to them.
{Healing Magic, Energy Transfer, Wis 150} -25% PL if used in combat, -5% pl cost per level, may not be used on the same target more than once per thread.-

This is mostly a fluff technique and its effect has no scaling with its levels; so, I figure it can be a 1:1 tech with just a small cost.

If used on targets that already have regenerative abilities, it simply boosts their own to be instantaneous with no PL cost to them.

Give that this ATBS can be used to counter ATBS and undermine cons of others, I'm re-requesting this ability to have a higher cost in order to be more fair, I am using the original cost I had first requested.

Once upon a time there were these things called defibrillators that would literally electrocute your heart into beating again. This is not nearly as traumatizing as that.
If a target has fallen below 0 this technique raises their PL from any negative amount, to 1.
[Healing Magic, Energy Transfer, Fount of Life, Regen, Wis 200] -50% PL-

Anti-violence Zone [1:5] Technique
Sometimes the best way to heal people, is to make it so they can’t fight at all. Kamrun creates a field around herself that any who are within are put in their own parallel dimensions on the current plane of existence, making it impossible to do anything to one another.
Counters all ATBS and non-atbs as long as target’s highest mental stat does not beat Kamrun’s Wis*.2 per level. If a target in the area counters the effects of this ATBS they can only activate ATBS and deal damage to other targets that have succeeded the check. Kamrun cannot move while this ATBS is active.
[Enter Infinite [20:20], Wis 200] -30% PL-

Immunity [1:5] Technique
No one likes getting sick and there has never been a cure found for the common cold. Except for a certain red-head. She’s taken it a step further and has developed a healing magic that can counter everything from the common cold, to poisons, to terminal illnesses.
This technique counters any negative effects of poison-based or contagion-based ATBS as long as her Wis*.5 is higher than the highest stat the target ATBS uses. If the ATBS is successfully countered, the affected target is immune to that ATBS for the remainder of the thread.
[Healing Magic, Wis 150] -10% PL-

Immortality [1:1] Technique
A technique that Kamrun discovered on accident, and one that she hides and does not use often unless absolutely necessary, as the potential of it could have dire consequences.
Make a character biologically immortal. Target character can still be killed if their PL goes below 0

Added a simple per-post to this, and changed it to highest stat instead of just mental.

This is the only one I'd like to try to contest the ruling of, as Angeles' Dimensional Anchor is a similar ability that lasts however long for just a 30% activation cost, and it doesn't make sense that someone can use a physical check to break through a mental ability.

Fair enough, the mental check is fine but I just realized this part of the ATBS confuses me. I feel like if you overpower the check, you should be able to smash whoever you want in the zone.

The reason they can't attack those who failed the check is because those that failed are still in their own pocket dimension, they're not actually there, though the image is, it's basically be like attacking a ghost.

Lightshow [1:3] Technique
A fun spell dealing with light and illusion magic, able to create colorful displays, you can be the greatest discoball in town, or even create moving images and show your favorite movie to your friends in the palm of your hand or set in the sky. You can also use it to distract, fool or even stun someone.
If used in Combat, target checks their highest mental stat against 30% User’s Wis per level. If the check fails, their highest mental stat is reduced by 10% per level for one post per level.
{Torchlight 4:4} -5% if used in combat-

Herbal Remedy [1:3] Potion
Instantly restores 20% of a target's Max PL to them. This potion can be given to another character for their own inventory named Herbal Remedy. It becomes a [x:3] one-use item that restores 20% of Max PL, where x is the level of Herbal Remedy in Kamrun’s inventory. It is removed from the character’s inventory after the one use.

There is a falsehood that one is at their prime only at a certain age of their life. Kamrun knows this to not be true, if only because she had magic to say otherwise.
Increase target's Max PL by x% of user's Wis. X=10 per level, usable once per target per level.

I am correct in assuming that this buffs someone's max PL by 50% of not LITERALLY your wisdom stat, but the ATBS value, correct?
