| Hello! Welcome to Broken Futures!
Although we are a based on Dragon Ball keep in mind that we use it for the elements the show brought to us. We are not using ANY canon characters, only the world in which the show was built on. We are mostly a free form RPG with some stats to help track character growth. However, for the most part, your stats only matter in important fights or large events ran by a GM/DM.
We don't have any specific guidelines on what can or cannot be written about. So long as the Zetaboards ToS isn't violated. If a topic gets mature, keep it reasonable and do your best not to violate the host ToS. We don't like to limit you to what you want to write about and will trust your judgement not to make any posts in the extreme.
We are set in Future Trunks' timeline so the world is in ruin. Which would classify it as post-apoc. It's always been the best-styled setting to build a new world on top of. We have built this site to be based around the actions of the players. You will help build the world you're playing in. Every action within major events will influence how the world structures itself.
We have no word count, no canon face claims, no post formatting and no drama. We want you to come here and have fun. Requesting:
Approved Healing Magic [1:1] A special magic that works both with nature and against it, for the purpose of creating magical healing tonics, spells and other energies to undo injury and save lives. {Arcane Arts, Elemental Magic, 20 Wis} -none-
Healing Potion [1:5] Item A careful mix of medicinal herbs and healing magic, this potion is a bright blue color, and tastes vague of mint toothpaste…. Restores 5% PL per Level. Healing potion can be given to another character for their own inventory, where it becomes a [x:5] one-use item that heals 5% PL where x is the level of Healing Potion in Kamrun’s inventory, it is removed from the character’s inventory after the one use. {Alchemy, Healing Magic, Wis 30} -Once per thread-
Here, Take This [1:5] Technique Kamrun, doesn’t fight, she can’t bring herself to cause pain to someone, but she understands the need to fight. She can help them fight better Increase the stat of a willing target by 5% of Kamrun’s Wisdom per level {Arcane Magic, Wisdom 40}
Más Heal [1:5] Technique While usually a one-on-one kind of healer, Kamrun does know that sometimes her talents will need to be used in a war-type situation with multiple injured. She’s prepared for that. Completely restores the PL and Stats of X targets and resets all of their ATBS and Item uses. Can even be used on unconscious targets to revive and restore them at [5:5]. X = 1 every other level. {Healing Magic, Energy Transfer, 100 Wis} -15% PL, Once per thread.
Regen [1:5] Technique One of the greatest adages in the world is ‘teach a man to fish.’ Kamrun takes this and applies it to healing, super-charging someone’s own healing ability so that they don’t need her around if they get hurt. A spell cast on a willing subject whose PL costs are increased by 10% for X posts, but restores 4% PL per level per post for X posts. X = Level. {Healing Magic, Energy Transfer, Wis 75} -5% PL, may not be used on the same target more than once per thread.
Immovable Object [1:6] Technique Using what Talon had taught her, Kamrun is able to create an emergency barrier made of the strongest known material in the universe. If the planet is destroyed, the shield would be the only thing left standing. Blocks all Wisdom at [1:6], Willpower at [2:6], Aptitude at [3:6], Spirit at [4:6], Strength at [5:6], and Dexterity at [6:6] Damage against Kamrun and X targets for one post. X = 1 per 25 Wisdom. {Lesser creation, Alteration magic, 75 Wis} -25% PL, Once per thread.
What’s Mine is Yours [1:5] Technique Kamrun has a lot of spells she doesn’t use; she’s willing to share with others. Grants a use of one of Kamrun's ATBS to the target. Usable once every other level per thread, and also takes the use of the ATBS transferred. Takes an action to transfer. {Arcane Magic, Wisdom 30} -5% cost-
Skill Enhancer [1:3] Technique Kamrun knows better than anyone that everyone has untapped potential. Kamrun has thus devised a way to use her magic to have someone be the best that they can be. Kamrun casts a spell on a willing target, that target’s ATBS are now counted to be 1 level higher per level of Skill Enhancer. This applies even if the ATBS is at max level {Arcane Magic, Wis 120} -20% PL, useable once per level per thread-
Potion of Status Enhancement [1:5] Item This potion comes in a small quantity of orange liquid that tastes like honey. While only a shot-full of liquid at best, it packs a powerful punch! Or whatever else you need it to do. Increases a chosen stat of a target by 5 per level for 5 posts. This potion can be given to another character for their own inventory names Potion of _____, where the stat is chosen by the target upon receiving the item. It becomes a [x:5] one-use item that increases the chosen stat by 5 per x for five posts, where x is the level of Potion of Status Enhancement in Kamrun’s inventory. It is removed from the character’s inventory after the one use
Mage's Robes [1:100] Armor A simple set of robes, black and red in color with a brown leather potion belt, made for Kamrun by a friend of hers. It's functional and defensive, and they billow really cool in the wind! Blocks X% Wisdom in Damage. X = 2 per level Kamrun is able to carry 5 extra potions of any type. {Lesser Creation, 150 Wisdom} -none-
Harvested Senzu Bean [1:1] Rare Item Kamrun got a very special gift from Daze, a magic bean that completely heals wounds. Instead of simply using it, she has planted it, and so now has a slow but steady supply of them Completely Restore Power Level and Heal all recent wounds. {None} -One time use per thread every thirty days, usable again on _____- (replace with next use date)
Magic Wand [1:20] Item Using the skills taught to her by Talon about creation and enchantment, Kamrun has fashioned for herself a wand to aid her in the casting of her magic, giving a focus to improve her magical talents. Allows an addition use of any Wisdom based ATBS X times per thread. X = 1 every 5 levels +1 (That's 5 at [20:20]) {Lesser Creation, 50 Wis} No cost. May not be used more than twice on the same ATBS per thread.
Emergency First Aid [1:1] Technique A simple skill with a little magic that is used just in case of an emergency. Instantly restores 20% of a target's Max PL to them. {Healing Magic, 10 Wis} -2% PL and usable once per target per thread-
Backpack of Holding [1:1] Item Kamrun has played around with allowing her backpack to carry as much as she needs while on the road without increasing the strain on her back. Because the items are stored in a dimension outside of time, things like pershibal foods can also be stored. No living things though, there’s no air in there. Allows Kamrun to carry a large supply of items. {Lesser Creation 10 Wis} -none-
Rebuff [1:7] Skill After a long fight your friends are weakened, this is just the helping hand they need to get back on their feet! Negates any ATBS effect that reduces the stats of the target. Can be used once every other level. {Alteration Magic, Wis 50}
Stabilize [1:1] Technique Once upon a time there were these things called defibrillators that would literally electrocute your heart into beating again. This is not nearly as traumatizing as that. If a target has fallen below 0 this technique raises their PL from any negative amount, to 1. [Healing Magic, Energy Transfer, Fount of Life, Regen, Wis 200] -50% PL-
Immunity [1:5] Technique No one likes getting sick and there has never been a cure found for the common cold. Except for a certain red-head. She’s taken it a step further and has developed a healing magic that can counter everything from the common cold, to poisons, to terminal illnesses. This technique counters any negative effects of poison-based or contagion-based ATBS as long as her Wis*.5 is higher than the highest stat the target ATBS uses. If the ATBS is successfully countered, the affected target is immune to that ATBS for the remainder of the thread. [Healing Magic, Wis 150] -10% PL-
Immortality [1:1] Technique A technique that Kamrun discovered on accident, and one that she hides and does not use often unless absolutely necessary, as the potential of it could have dire consequences. Make a character biologically immortal. Target character can still be killed if their PL goes below 0 [Healing Magic, Fount of Life [10:10], Wis 100] -none-
Anti-violence Zone [1:5] Technique Sometimes the best way to heal people, is to make it so they can’t fight at all. Kamrun creates a field around herself that any who are within are put in their own parallel dimensions on the current plane of existence, making it impossible to do anything to one another. Counters all ATBS and non-atbs as long as target’s highest mental stat does not beat Kamrun’s Wis*.2 per level. If a target in the area counters the effects of this ATBS they can only activate ATBS and deal damage to other targets that have succeeded the check. Kamrun cannot perform other ATBS or use actives on items while this ATBS is active. [Enter Infinite [20:20], Wis 200] -10% PL per post-

A strong healer can prevent that devastation and pain. This ability reverses the effects of an ATBS that has incapacitated or removed a limb, a sense, or another vital physical or mental ability, (ie Limb Break, Accupressure). Additionally this ability can be used to remove these same injuries that had happened in the past, as well as heal scars. If the target is not already below 0, this can also save them from life-threatening injuries such as being cut in half. If used on targets that already have regenerative abilities, it simply boosts their own to be instantaneous with no PL cost to them. {Healing Magic, Energy Transfer, Wis 150} -25% PL if used in combat, -5% pl cost per level, may not be used on the same target more than once per thread.-
Lightshow [1:3] Technique A fun spell dealing with light and illusion magic, able to create colorful displays, you can be the greatest discoball in town, or even create moving images and show your favorite movie to your friends in the palm of your hand or set in the sky. You can also use it to distract, fool or even stun someone. If used in Combat, target checks their highest mental stat against 30% User’s Wis per level. If the check fails, their highest mental stat is reduced by 10% per level for one post per level. {Torchlight 4:4} -5% if used in combat-
Herbal Remedy [1:3] Potion Instantly restores 20% of a target's Max PL to them. This potion can be given to another character for their own inventory named Herbal Remedy. It becomes a [x:3] one-use item that restores 20% of Max PL, where x is the level of Herbal Remedy in Kamrun’s inventory. It is removed from the character’s inventory after the one use. {Alchemy, Emergency First Aid, Wis 20} -none-

This is basically the task force item

It cannot transport the user anywhere, but however does allow the user to virtually be carrying anything they need everywhere. If the target is not already below 0, this can also save them from life-threatening injuries such as being cut in half. If used on targets that already have regenerative abilities, it simply boosts their own to be instantaneous with no PL cost to them. {Healing Magic, Energy Transfer, Wis 150} -25% PL if used in combat, -5% pl cost per level, may not be used on the same target more than once per thread.-
Give that this ATBS can be used to counter ATBS and undermine cons of others, I'm re-requesting this ability to have a higher cost in order to be more fair, I am using the original cost I had first requested.

Added a simple per-post to this, and changed it to highest stat instead of just mental.

This is the only one I'd like to try to contest the ruling of, as Angeles' Dimensional Anchor is a similar ability that lasts however long for just a 30% activation cost, and it doesn't make sense that someone can use a physical check to break through a mental ability.

Fair enough, the mental check is fine but I just realized this part of the ATBS confuses me. I feel like if you overpower the check, you should be able to smash whoever you want in the zone.

The reason they can't attack those who failed the check is because those that failed are still in their own pocket dimension, they're not actually there, though the image is, it's basically be like attacking a ghost.

Lightshow [1:3] Technique A fun spell dealing with light and illusion magic, able to create colorful displays, you can be the greatest discoball in town, or even create moving images and show your favorite movie to your friends in the palm of your hand or set in the sky. You can also use it to distract, fool or even stun someone. If used in Combat, target checks their highest mental stat against 30% User’s Wis per level. If the check fails, their highest mental stat is reduced by 10% per level for one post per level. {Torchlight 4:4} -5% if used in combat-
Herbal Remedy [1:3] Potion Instantly restores 20% of a target's Max PL to them. This potion can be given to another character for their own inventory named Herbal Remedy. It becomes a [x:3] one-use item that restores 20% of Max PL, where x is the level of Herbal Remedy in Kamrun’s inventory. It is removed from the character’s inventory after the one use. {Alchemy, Emergency First Aid} -none-

Kamrun knows this to not be true, if only because she had magic to say otherwise. Increase target's Max PL by x% of user's Wis. X=10 per level, usable once per target per level. {Wis 150, Life Magic} -10% PL-

I am correct in assuming that this buffs someone's max PL by 50% of not LITERALLY your wisdom stat, but the ATBS value, correct?
I think this is good to go.
