Hello! Welcome to Broken Futures!

Although we are a based on Dragon Ball keep in mind that we use it for the elements the show brought to us. We are not using ANY canon characters, only the world in which the show was built on. We are mostly a free form RPG with some stats to help track character growth. However, for the most part, your stats only matter in important fights or large events ran by a GM/DM.

We don't have any specific guidelines on what can or cannot be written about. So long as the Zetaboards ToS isn't violated. If a topic gets mature, keep it reasonable and do your best not to violate the host ToS. We don't like to limit you to what you want to write about and will trust your judgement not to make any posts in the extreme.

We are set in Future Trunks' timeline so the world is in ruin. Which would classify it as post-apoc. It's always been the best-styled setting to build a new world on top of. We have built this site to be based around the actions of the players. You will help build the world you're playing in. Every action within major events will influence how the world structures itself.

We have no word count, no canon face claims, no post formatting and no drama. We want you to come here and have fun. Before you sign up, please look over the Game a bit to decide if you are interested. After you've made an account make sure to introduce yourself here and say hello in the Chatbox. Kamrun
The only village in the desert, is what he had told her. After she had helped out at the port, and paid a visit to Bruin who seemed to live there. She headed off out towards the desert on a quest for magic beans, which reminded her of a children's story her mother used to read her. She had no cows to sell, so hopefully her and the white-haired man could strike a deal some other way.

Now normally 'the only village in the desert' would have been just as dangerous as 'go play in traffic' for someone who didn't know the expansive geography of the sandy place, and could easily get lost and die of dehydration. But as it so happened, Kamrun knew where the village was, stumbling upon it in her time of need, having been lost and dehydrated, and paid for water with her healing skill.

Assuming there wasn't another 'only village in the desert,' and that the man had simply been speaking about the only one he knew of, she arrived at the small town by the rocks and looked around. She had assumed he would be immediately visible. However, it wasn't difficult to find white-haired men, asking around is what helped her find Bruin after all. She knew the best place to get information was the bar, so that was where she headed, stepping in and going to the counter. She waved at the barkeep with a friendly smile, "hello, some water please," she asked, certain it wasn't an odd request, "and um, "I'm looking for a man, about this tall, white hair and dark skin?"

Kamrun saw Daze disappear in the corner of her eye, and then there he was there again, right beside her, which cause her to grin slowly, pretending not to look at him with how close he was.

"Hi," she said after a moment, then waved her hands over the beans on the counter, "these ones, it's one of these. I could, maybe try to feel it out with my magic, but I wouldn't even know where to begin," she sighed, glancing at him, "is white your natural hair color?"

Daze
"Oh, one of those?" Daze said, leaning in to get a closer look.

He paused for a moment, focusing really hard on them. He wasn't sure how to determine which one was a real bean or the Senzu bean. Or if any of them were Senzu beans at all. Beans were beans to him. Besides Bean Babe, she was neat.

"Oh, that..." Daze paused, looking up as he held a strand of hair out in front of his eyes. "Yeah, no. I don't think so. I dyed it a long time ago... I think before all the stuff... I don't remember," Daze admitted, not really sure.

"I can answer that one," Bruce said with a hardy laugh. "A long time ago, before his... incident. He dyed his hair. Now his powers keep his hair from changing. It's like it's a part of him now. We never figured out why or how. Just that it does," Bruce said, adding much detail on Daze's situation.

"Oh, huh. Neat," Daze said, thouroughly surprised about the information. As if he had no clue.

Daze didn't remember, but Bruce did, and Kamrun hummed, leaning over and parting Daze's hair to see his roots and see what color his hair had once been. She pursed her lips then sat back with a "huh," and turned, only giving it a second glance before looking at the beans.

"So yeah, one of those, except this one," she said, picking up a bean and putting it in the jar, "that one's not it, but one of these definitely."

She nodded, starting to feel the buzz of the whiskey. She wouldn't be able to keep this up for much longer, then the beans would really start looking the same, and she might eat them. She wondered if she could ask Bruce to keep the ones she wasn't certain about separate to continue looking if she got too bad.

She chuckled. Randomly.

Daze
"We're gettin' close. The anticipation is killin' me," Daze teased, watching Kamrun's actions like a hawk.

This was an unusual form of entertainment for the man. He normally would have gone on an adventure or invaded one of his mates' privacy already. But today was different. He trained with Machi and sent her off to train with Roots. Mostly because Daze wasn't a good teacher and could barely understand how his abilities worked much less help her master her own.

"What's so funny?" Daze asked, poking at Kamrun's ribs with his index finger. Not too hard of course.

Kamrun
Kamrun chuckled again and toyed with a bean before putting it in the jar, sure that it was not the senzu bean. Daze then poked at her ribs and she laughed loud for a second shrinking away from his index finger and waggling hers at him.

"No no no, don't poke me there, it's ticklish."

Daze
"Oh, okay, what about..." Daze asked, interrupting himself before poking his finger in the tiniest of portals.

A tiny portal opened up on the other side of Kamrun with his finger making an exit to poke her in the ribs. Daze wasn't a wise man and was very easy to influence. One simply had to simply tell him not to do something. He naturally saw it as a reason to do whatever that thing was. He didn't much care for being told not to do something. Not to mention he was also teasing her.

"Couldn't help myself," Daze stuck his tongue out, moving both hands behind his head.

Kamrun
Kamrun felt him poke her other side and laughed again, squirming and smacking at his disembodied finger, "I'm serious stop!" she laughed, "you're going to make me fall out of my seat."

Her laughing died down when the tickling stopped and she let out a relieved sigh, giving the white-haired man a playful glare.

She turned as he put his hands behind his head, and poked her finger against his ribs, biting her bottom lip and furrowing her brow, still grinning.

"See how you like it," she growled in good humor.

Daze
Daze let out a light laugh but hid it behind a shit eating grin.

"Only a little ticklish there, not my spot though," Daze teased. "You'd have to try harder than that," he let out a laugh. Daze was, of course, not intending anything sexual behind his comment. Nothing blatant anyway. But he wouldn't stop her from taking it that way if she chose.

"I'm sure you're ticklish all over, right?" Daze jested again, moving his hands out from behind his head in ready to go grab position. Mostly to startle her.

Kamrun
Kamrun frowned playfully and began poking him in other spots on his chest and sides to try to find his ticklish spot, before shrieking and shrinking away as he came at her with both hands, "noooo!" she protested, laughing, batting at his hands almost like a cat would.

"I'm not but don't try!"

Daze
With a grin, Daze dove in with a playful tackle. Making sure to angle it so he took the brunt of the fall if he connected.

If successful, he'd use one hand to try to tickle the side of her rib and the other going for the lower-mid thigh. It was the common spots. But he was in a playful mood. She also told him not to. Which made him want to even more. Who knows if there was a way to circumnavigate this situation.

"Say Bean Babe and I'll stop," Daze teased, assuming he was successful.

In light of his failure, he'd likely have face planted into the ground from his missed tackle and grumbled something.

Kamrun
Daze jumped at her. Kamrun squealed and tried to scramble from the stool, also trying to make sure to not knock over the jar of beans and undo all he work, but he had her and they both fell to the ground. Kamrun squirmed and laughed, repeating 'no' as she tried to fight off his hands.

"Stop stop stop!" she cried, "bean babe bean babe bean babe!"

Daze
With a grin and a smile, Daze let up. Although, he was not regretting not getting her to say something more intereting like, "Daze you're so cool" or "Daze you're strongest, most amazing person I've ever met." However, it dawned on him that she barely managed bean babe. So it was smart to make her only say two words.

Well, as smart as tickling someone into submission could be.

"Hehe, alright, I had my fun," Daze said, standing up and holding his hand out to pick her up to her feet.

Kamrun
True to his word, Daze stopped tickling her, though it took her a while to stop giggling. She was still grinning as she took Daze's hand and he helped her to her feet. She moved some hair out of her face and she laughed, "ookay, I'm drunk," she admitted to herself and whoever else was listening, Daze, Bruce, other people in the room. She sighed and looked at the left over beans, still smiling, "Hey Bruce, is there another jar you can put the unsorted ones into, till tomorrow. At this rate I'll accidentally eat the bean I'm looking for."

Daze
"Already, huh? You were right, you don't hold it too well," Daze laughed, surprised at how fast liquor hit her.

"Yes, I have something to store them in," Bruce said, reaching at the top of the shelf just over his head and bringing it to Kamrun. "Do you need me to put them in for you... or would you rather do it?" Bruce asked, unsure if she just really enjoyed sorting beans or not.

Kamrun chuckled, "I can do it, I'm not that drink yet," she shifted, scooping up the remaining beans, putting them in the new container, repeating this until there were no beans left, and she put the last bean in the jar instead, "definitely not that one. There I'm done, thank you."

She smiled at Bruce, then looked to Daze, "well, now I'm drunk. Now what?"

Daze
Daze was silent for a moment. While Kamrun was busy with her beans, Daze turned to his Fireball Whiskey and took another shot. It took a whole lot more to get him tipsy than it took to get Kamrun drunk. It was only fair. Despite the fact she still owed him another shot. Well. Maybe not now. She said after the bean counting.

"Now," Daze paused, not really knowing where to go from here. "We resort to the ways of living. Well, or anything else entertaining," Daze admitted, coming up with blanket things to do rather than actual things to do.

Mostly because he wasn't very smart.

"Ways of living, right," she counted on her fingers, "fighting, can't do that, sex, like to remain a virgin for now thank you, um, adventure," she looked over at the walls, where sand was still coming through the cracks, "yeah no. Drinking, already drunk. Um... music? We can do music," she nodded, putting her hand on her hip.

"A Virgin, huh?" Daze said with a sly grin on his face, thoughts coursing through his mind before he shook his head abruptly. "Sorry, mind went places. Music sounds great. You got any ideas on how to do it?" Daze asked, stopping himself. "Music, I mean. Yes. That," he quickly added to make it less awkward.

"Yes, a virgin," Kamrun said, sticking her tongue out with both hands on her hips. Daze spaced out and then shook himself out of it. She chuckled at his Freudian slip and nodded, "yes I can music, sing, I can sing," she sighed at herself, putting her hand on her brow, "maybe that's not a good idea."

"What? Why get so shy now? You need some encouragement?" Daze asked, holding his arm out to the Cinnamon Death bottle she had some of earlier.

He was, of course, doing that in jest. Offering her an alternative to music or her experiencing her first time. First time finding a Senzu bean while drunk that is. Yes. Certainly that.

"Nah, I won't force you. I think I can create some tunes, hold up," Daze said, turning to the stairs and walking up towards the rooms directly above them. It was very easy to follow where he was due to how heavy his steps were. Nowhere inside the building was his location a secret.

"Excuse him, he's clouded," Bruce said while Daze was gone. "His magic it... effects his mind. The orbs in his arms. He found them a long time ago. He's never been able to tell me where. But he's lost his ability to remember the past clearly, focus or pay attention. It's a curse. But it lets him do all sorts of stuff," bruce said, explaining Daze's situation. "He doesn't remember, but he's been here since he was nine. He's like a son to me," Bruce said with a soft chuckle.
