Hello! Welcome to Broken Futures!

Although we are a based on Dragon Ball keep in mind that we use it for the elements the show brought to us. We are not using ANY canon characters, only the world in which the show was built on. We are mostly a free form RPG with some stats to help track character growth. However, for the most part, your stats only matter in important fights or large events ran by a GM/DM.

We don't have any specific guidelines on what can or cannot be written about. So long as the Zetaboards ToS isn't violated. If a topic gets mature, keep it reasonable and do your best not to violate the host ToS. We don't like to limit you to what you want to write about and will trust your judgement not to make any posts in the extreme.

We are set in Future Trunks' timeline so the world is in ruin. Which would classify it as post-apoc. It's always been the best-styled setting to build a new world on top of. We have built this site to be based around the actions of the players. You will help build the world you're playing in. Every action within major events will influence how the world structures itself.

We have no word count, no canon face claims, no post formatting and no drama. We want you to come here and have fun. Before you sign up, please look over the Game a bit to decide if you are interested. After you've made an account make sure to introduce yourself here and say hello in the Chatbox. This is the Place; Daze

Kamrun
The only village in the desert, is what he had told her. After she had helped out at the port, and paid a visit to Bruin who seemed to live there. She headed off out towards the desert on a quest for magic beans, which reminded her of a children's story her mother used to read her. She had no cows to sell, so hopefully her and the white-haired man could strike a deal some other way.

Now normally 'the only village in the desert' would have been just as dangerous as 'go play in traffic' for someone who didn't know the expansive geography of the sandy place, and could easily get lost and die of dehydration. But as it so happened, Kamrun knew where the village was, stumbling upon it in her time of need, having been lost and dehydrated, and paid for water with her healing skill.

Assuming there wasn't another 'only village in the desert,' and that the man had simply been speaking about the only one he knew of, she arrived at the small town by the rocks and looked around. She had assumed he would be immediately visible. However, it wasn't difficult to find white-haired men, asking around is what helped her find Bruin after all. She knew the best place to get information was the bar, so that was where she headed, stepping in and going to the counter. She waved at the barkeep with a friendly smile, "hello, some water please," she asked, certain it wasn't an odd request, "and um, "I'm looking for a man, about this tall, white hair and dark skin?"

Kamrun
Kamru froze with wide eyes as Daze spoke, looking down at him, not even daring to breathe. It took several moments for her to realize that he was still asleep and she let out her held breath in a huff. She tilted her head, brown bent in worry as she remembered what Bruce said to her. He didn't remember things, events, people, probably not even his dreams. She wondered if when he dreamed he remembered, only to forget when he awoke?

She shifted her hand, hesitated a moment, then gently ran her fingers through his hair, moving it away from his face.

"I'm sorry...," she whispered.

This was one thing she could not heal.

Daze
Daze was dreaming about the night before. Everything in his dream was so vivid, but it was in third person. He was seeing things from another perspective. He was having fun. Drinking, teasing and talking. It was a good night. Kamrun is a good person. The kind Daze likes to have around. She didn't try to control him or change him into something else and he liked that.

But a darkness started to creep in on his mind. The memories were fading. Holes burned through the pictures. Daze began to sweat, not from the heat... but his memories being torn asunder. His brain clouded the events and Daze's eyes shot open.

"Ugh.... what...?" Daze asked, mouth very dry and voice weak sounding.

Kamrun
Kamrun snatched her hand away quickly and froze wide eyed as Daze suddenly woke up. She thinned her lips and waited to see if he was going to go back to sleep, before suddenly bursting.

"Okay, first, I want to apologize for my behavior last night," holding her hands open as if to keep him calm, "I was drunk, but that's no excuse, I told you I didn't want any and then I went and hung off you and jumped in your bed and I'm very sorry for sending so many mixed signals, I was drunk, but I know that's not an excuse, I'm sorry for, um, touching without permission and trying to steal your bed and... everything," she turned away, dropping her face into her hands, face turning red as she grumbled at herself under her breath.

Well that was the worst botched apology ever.

She had done all those things to a guy she didn't even really know. She should really learn to not drink around strangers.

Daze
"Don't worry about it BB, it was fun," Daze said with a laugh. "My bed is your bed, anytime you need to crash or just want to escape. You find me, right?" Daze said, trying to reaffirm her.

He began to lick along the insides of his mouth to make talking easier before sitting up. He leaned over to Kam and placed a hand on her shoulder as a way of telling her it's alright. He shot her a smile, hopefully with her looking. He wouldn't blame her if she didn't. She was blushing pretty bad from what he could tell. Maybe it was just the heat.

"And you don't need my permission to touch me," he said in jest with a wink and an exposed tongue.

"If I could do it all over again, I would. Anytime."

Daze took her outburst in stride it seemed, putting a hand on her shoulder, and she turned her head just enough to see him past the edge of her hand. Really, the same thing from last night, not drunk or anything, for someone he didn't even really know?

She lifted her head and smiled, grateful, still blushing, drawing her knees up to wrap her arms around them, removing one only to poke his stomach above his navel.

"You ticklish there?" she asked with a smile.

Daze
It was different for Daze. He acted on emotions and instincts. When he felt he could trust someone, he did so. Full force. He trusted Kamrun. She was good people. It's what his gut and emotions told him. On top of that, she was his mate now. Same reasoning. He could feel her now. Nothing in those feelings told him to be wary. It was a dangerous way to live and he could easily be taken advantage of. Lord knows Ran has done so several times.

But it let him open his heart to complete strangers.

"Only a little. I think you just like touching me," Daze teased, starting to take an elonged and very audible stretch with his arms and torso.

Kamrun scoffed when he teased her, smacking a hand to the bed. He then began to stretch and she shifted, quickly trying to poke multiple areas quickly to get a reaction to him, playfully biting her lower lip.

She then quickly tried to scramble off the bed to get away before he could retaliate, tripping up in the blanket and falling to the floor instead of landing gracefully.

"Ow," she laughed, for only a second, before again trying to scramble to the door.

Daze
The rapid pokes lead Daze to a small laugh. Not because of the tickling, but because of her attempt. His laugh was cut short though by her attempted flee from the bed. It was more of a fumbling flee from the bed, with her falling and messing the bed up. As if the bed had ever been made in the last few years.

Daze, however wasn't going to let her get away that quickly. Without standing up he fell through a fade portal beneath his rump, dropping right in front of the door just before Kamrun was going to escape through it.

If he timed it right, he'd be standing right in front of her.

If he timed it poorly... he might just kind of land on her.

Kamrun
In short order, Daze vanished from his bed, Kamrun nearly reached the door, but the Daze appeared above her, falling just a short distance to land on her.

"Oof!" she grunted as he was now on her back, she recovered quickly and laughed, reminded of how her and her brothers used to wrestle. She squirmed and wiggled, getting her hands to where she could reach Daze and tried grabbing his wrist so that she could maneuver him off of her and she could continue her escape.

"Oh you minxy fox you," Daze said, mostly to himself as she escaped his accidental assault on her.

Not wanting to be bested on his home turf, he took to his feet and darted off.

Now, normally Daze isn't a very fast man. But Roots awoke something in him that changed that. Daze's magic altered the space around him by removing wind resistance from his entire body at all times. This made Daze unusually fast. He had nothing pushing against him when he moved. It was almost unnatural looking, as if everyone else was running under water and he was, well... not.

"I'm gonna get you!" Daze said playfully, running after Kamrun.

Somehow, she managed out the door, hearing Daze's voice behind her as he began running after her. She laughed and tried to hurry down the stairs, almost falling down the lot of them. Skipping a bit to recover, she dove behind the bar with a laugh then quickly quieted. She looked up at Bruce and put her fingers to her lips.

She was acting like such a child, but she missed being this jovial on occasion. Once she finished getting the senzu bean and left, she'd go back to normal.

Daze came tumbling down the steps. He was in such a rush and moving so fast that he failed to do the whole stairs thing correctly. After removing himself from the human pretzel position, he walked out into the bar nonchalantly, as if nothing had just happened. He left his hands resting behind his head, looking around.

"Oh, BB.." he said, lengthening her nickname to emphasize he's looking for her. "Man, sure would be a shame if I... ate these beans," Daze said in jest, walking towards the bean jar that Bruce had left out for them.

He assumed they were going to resume their bean hunt.

Instead, he's found himself leaning against his kitchen appliances, smiling at the youth.

"No!" cried the redhead, shooting out from her hiding spot and jumping entirely over the bar to tackled Daze, or at least attempt to, "not my beans!"

Her uncalculated flying leap was not going to end well, either she was going to fall on the ground alone, or with Daze, either way, her and the ground were about to become well acquainted.

Also, they weren't her beans, but oh well.

Daze was ready for the tackle. Well. He thought he was ready. He braced himself, attempting to half catch her, half fake being tackled while falling to his back to absorb the brunt of the fall. But it didn't work out quite as he expected. Instead, it more ended up with Kamrun landing on top of Daze after he hit his head on the floor with quite a loud thud.

He winced, but he was okay. Mostly because he was distracted by the red head on top of him.

"Oh, BB. I didn't know you liked me like that," Daze said, pretending to be bashful by placing his hands over his mouth.

Daze hit his head and Kamrun gasped, lightly rubbing where the impact was to sooth it, then hitting his shoulder lightly as he teased her, "I'm just protecting my beans," she countered, pushing herself off of him and standing up, snatching the jar of beans and holding it protectively.

"Whoa. They aren't your beans yet," Daze teased.

"We still haven't worked out how you'll pay me for the bean. Not to mention I got you free drinks, food and a bed," Daze said, sticking his tongue out at Kam after getting to his feet. It was all of course in jest.

But Kamrun really did wrack up quite the debt with Daze in such a short period.

"I just don't know how you'll ever pay me back," he teased, trrying to be coy.

Kamrun... Didn't know how to respond to that. She just stared quietly as he provided undeniable facts that the bean was still his, and she did owe him for the food and room, and his bed.

She looked down at the jar in her arms, then back at him, "um...."

She looked down at the jar again and murmured, "well crap."

Daze walked up to Kamrun calmly, mostly when she was looking away from him and quickly went to poke his finger at her ribs again. She got all serious on him about what he said. It was a joke to him. Daze doesn't really do debt, value or worth very well. He just does what he feels is right. At this point, he likely couldn't ask for anything in return from Kamrun.

Expressing that would be difficult though.

"Oi, Cheer up. I was just joshin' you, we'll work that stuff out later," he teased after he poked her.

"I know you were joking," she said squirming at his poke and grinning at him, turning so her body was between him and the jar, "I just... I do fully intend to pay you back for all this, somehow."

She moved one hand from the jar and waved at his hand, in case he felt like poking her again.

Daze tried reaching out around Kamrun with both arms, not even really trying to grab the jar. Mostly just playing. He didn't want to accidentally break it and undo all of her hard work. That'd make him feel bad. He wouldn't know how to fix it. Not really. He was bad at fixing broken stuff.

"Are you sure? You know you don't have to," he said with a smile, still playfully trying to grab the jar from behind her.
