Hello! Welcome to Broken Futures!

Although we are a based on Dragon Ball keep in mind that we use it for the elements the show brought to us. We are not using ANY canon characters, only the world in which the show was built on. We are mostly a free form RPG with some stats to help track character growth. However, for the most part, your stats only matter in important fights or large events ran by a GM/DM.

We don't have any specific guidelines on what can or cannot be written about. So long as the Zetaboards ToS isn't violated. If a topic gets mature, keep it reasonable and do your best not to violate the host ToS. We don't like to limit you to what you want to write about and will trust your judgement not to make any posts in the extreme.

We are set in Future Trunks' timeline so the world is in ruin. Which would classify it as post-apoc. It's always been the best-styled setting to build a new world on top of. We have built this site to be based around the actions of the players. You will help build the world you're playing in. Every action within major events will influence how the world structures itself.

We have no word count, no canon face claims, no post formatting and no drama. We want you to come here and have fun. Before you sign up, please look over the Game a bit to decide if you are interested. After you've made an account make sure to introduce yourself here and say hello in the Chatbox. We love new members and are a very welcoming bunch of people.

I Swear to Drunk I'm Not God; Daze, Andariel
Topic Started: Mar 29 2016, 12:35 AM (1,339 Views)
Kamrun
Kamrun really couldn't help but feel a spring in her step as she saw the desert village come into view. She smiled and hurried the rest of the way in, no hesitation in turning her steps to the bar and almost skipped in. She quickly scanned, but didn't see who she was looking for immediately. Not discouraged, she smiled and slid onto a stool at the bar.

"Hey Bruce," she said happily, crossing her arms on the bar, "how's everything?" it wasn't the question she really wanted to ask, but she was not going to be rude. She liked Bruce just as much... just not in the same way. Not that she was telling Bruce how she felt about Daze, that still made her stomach twist a bit, like she was plotting to steal his son away from him.

Still she swiveled in her chair. She had a special gift she wanted to share with Daze in her backpack, it had been expensive, she was down to literally only the capsules she actually needed to trek across the world, and no zeni whatsoever, but it was going to be completely worth it.

"Changing size?" Kamrun said and then chuckled, "I... honestly see no point in that but, I'll try," she shrugged and closed her eyes with a serious expression of concentration, and a smile. After a moment she opened one eye and was still the same size, "nope," she said simply and laughed, easing the muscles in her face.

"His name is Spark," Kamrun said then paused, "I think. Spark...s? Um, I met him in Central, he was also at the tournament hanging around Zuus, you might have seen him."

She smiled, "other than normal magic he didn't seem to do anything special either, maybe Andariel shrinking was just Andariel's magic?"

Daze
"Oh... that guy..." Daze grumbled. He had a bad feeling about him.

As in.. he might not want Spark to know what he did to Kamrun. Spark might not be too happy with him about it. Daze doesn't know that consciously, but subconsciously his brain is firing warning signals to try and deter Kamrun from seeking him out.

"I mean, you could always learn about your new body the old fashioned way, make it an adventure and experiment... and that is coming of incredibly sexually," Daze said, talking in one long winded statement before pausing about his self-revelation about his words.

"'Oh that guy'?" Kamrun asked, cocking an eyebrow and laughing, "you don't like him?"

Daze dismissed that quickly by trying to suggest that the best way to learn was self discovery, in a sexual way, as he pointed out and she laughed when he realized this as well.

"An adventure huh?" she teased with a grin, her tongue sticking between her teeth, "one of the six reasons for living, wanna come with?"

Daze
"Oh, BB, I'll come wherever you want," Daze said with a smirk, moving to hold both of her hands while gazing into her eyes.

"Oh god... I'm going back to bed," Bruce moaned, walking off to his personal room which was on the first floor beneath the stairs. "Kids these days don't know how to do romance anymore. All fuck this and fuck that. No one goes steady anymore, no dates or drive in movies," Bruce complained while walking away, his voice growing more and more distant as he closed the door behind him.

"Ignore him, he's old," Daze teased.

Kamrun smiled, trying hard not to just bust out laughing as Daze took her hands and looked her in the eye. She was going to continue the joke when Bruce spoke up.

"Aww," she said as Bruce dismissed the two of them and turned, going back to his room and to sleep, it was too early for his shit and she felt a little bad about ruining his morning, "sorry Bruce!

"Oh he's not old," Kamrun retorted and squeezed the hands she had. She wasn't exactly willing to let go yet,

"So," she sighed and grinned, "an adventure to learn what it means to be a fairy," she chuckled, "where do we start?"

Daze
"Well, let's head back up to the bedroom first," Daze winked.

He let a long pause happen after saying that. His face slowly turning from a confident expression to that of a 'oh god did I just really say that?' expression. He suddenly felt the need to make an awkward joke or justify his statement since he now thinks he took the puns and jokes too far.

"I mean, um. That way if anyone comes in we don't accidentally disturb them. Could accidentally like, turn the floor invisible or somethin'," Daze laughed nervously.

Kamrun
Kamrun grinned when Daze invited her back to his room, then grinned more at his awkward pause and the fall in his facial expression. She gave him a sly look. Was this Daze, the Daze, getting embarrassed by an innuendo he accidentally said? She stuck her tongue through her teeth, unable to hold her laughter back anymore.

"I know what you meant Daze," she teased and squeezed his hands again before letting go, "you respected my wishes when drunk I can trust you to respect them when sober," she smiled warmly, then grinned playfully, "now come on, let's go see if we can turn the floor invisible."

She patted his arm and all but skipped to the stairs, pausing at the base and smiling at him again, motioning for him to follow.

Daze
"Yeah, I'm pretty cool," Daze replied to her complimenting his restraint.

It was his own personal code. It's not a party unless everyone is having fun. If he's the only one then it's just selfishness and torture for the other person. No party there. It's what separated him from the thugs in Terminus. It's why he doesn't live there. He'd constantly be fighting them and beating their asses for pissing him off.

"Coming!" Daze said, running off after Kamrun.

"You're totally cool," Kamrun laughed and began heading up the stairs, hurrying and giggling when Daze caught up, like it was some kind of race. She jogged to the bed room and was already a little out of breath by the time she got in. Grinning she turned to face Daze who was sure to come through the door, or maybe fade through the ground she didn't really know with Daze.

"Okay let's do this," she said, ready, for what she didn't know but she was ready.

Daze
Daze followed close behind, making sure not to lose sight of her. He just wanted to look at her all the time. He was infatuated for some reason and couldn't explain why. He was blaming the wings. Mostly because it was new and gave him an excuse not to confront his emotions. What a crutch.

"Yeah, let's do it," Daze said with a grin. "I mean. This. Yes. What?" Daze said, staring blankly at Kamrun.

Kamrun smiled as Daze came in, ready, but lost, and she laughed and shook her head, "turning the floor invisible," she reminded him, looking down at herself, over her shoulder at her wings, reaching out to touch it again, because it was soft. The wing fluttered when touched and she did feel a tickling sensation.

"Oh, I got it to move," she said, intrigued and poked it again, "c'mon wing, open up like you did last time."

"Huh... can you feel them?" Daze asked, reaching out and touching her wing at the base and running it down the outer edge. "ooh..." he said, smiling at the texture of her wings.

He was like a kid, experiencing something new for the first time. He couldn't help but find pleasure in the sensation. Hopefully it didn't bother her that he just went and touched her wings without permission.

"Yeah I can feel them," she said smiling but sounding a little distracted. Daze then reached out and touched them himself and awed at them, "I know they're fuzzy I love them," she grinned. They fluttered as Daze touched them and she grinned and smiled, watching them, "that tickles a bit, don't think there's much feeling in them, probably closer to where they connect to the back."

She indicated by pointing over her shoulder with her finger, the part of the back that she would have trouble reaching without a good deal of flexibility, "poke there, maybe we can get the muscles stimulated into moving, and I can try to figure out how to move them on my own."

Daze
"Alright, let's see then," Daze said, preparing himself for the strangest attempt at tickling someone he's ever made.

He lightly ran his fingers back up the outer edge until he reached the base, running his fingers just so he was barely touching her up and down. He was trying to provoke sensation and get the body reacting to it by creating a tickling itch sensation. In a perfect world, it would just tickle her into submission.

Kamrun nodded and turned more towards him so that he could reach the spot easier. She braced herself not sure what was going to happen entirely. She felt him touch the edge of her wings and move to her back. She bit her bottom lip to hold in the laughter but her back arched and the muscles under his fingers definitely twitched.

She hummed in strain and her face started turning red with the effort it took to sit there and take that torture, until finally she busted out laughing and hopped away, "okay okay okay stop stop stop it's not working," she laughed, only to see her wings flutter open a little and close, "oh no no no it was working, do it again do it again!"

She excitedly returned to him and turned her back again, biting her lip this time because she knew what was going to happen. She hoped that she wouldn't have to get tickled every time she wanted to mover her wings.

Daze
Daze was enjoying this greatly. Like a lot. He liked to tickle people. Mostly because he lived for getting a reaction out of people and it was the ultimate form of that. He couldn't help but take pleasure in it. So when she re-presented her back to him he couldn't help but begin to tickle her again.

"Alright, I'm going to go all out on this one..." Daze teased. "Secret technique..." he said in an epic cheesy voice, likely a line from a comic book. "SUPER TICKLE ATTACK!!" Daze shouted going to town with both hands.

He was such a child at heart.

Kamrun thought she was prepared, she was not prepared. Instead of doing the same thing, Daze instead used both hands to lightly tease the fine hairs on her back. She instantly started to laugh, squirming as her body reflexively tried to get away but she forced it to remain.

"Stop stop!" she laughed finally, just as her wings fluttered open again, "no keep going argh it's so confusing!" she laughed like she was crying, twisting a bit and trying really hard to focus on the feeling of the muscles and the wings working together, but was entirely distracted by the uncontrollable muscle spasms and her voice crying out for contradictory things amidst peals of laughter.

"Okay stop stop stop I can't take no ore I think I've got it!" she said, trying to turn away, her stomach muscles beginning to hurt from laughing so much.

"Alright, since asked so nicely," Daze teased, grinning maliciously from his joy from the tickle torture. "I was surprised you kept coming back. Nobody has ever come back for more. But you kept coming and coming," Daze continued, intentionally making an innuendo this time.

It was the accidental ones that he got embarrassed over.

"You think you can flutter the wings a bit?" Daze asked.

Kamrun still had to take a minute to work the chuckles out of her system, especially with his joke and she straightened out her shirt, she had been unconsciously wringing it in her hands to deal with the torture.

"Sure, I'll keep coming back for more any day," she teased back and looked back at her wings. Daze asked if she could flutter them and she glanced at him then back, "don't know, let's see," she said and focused on the muscles on her back, the wings twitched a bit and she frowned and tried again.

The wings twitched again, then moved, spreading to the full size, "aha!" she cried and focused again with a confident smile. The wings slowly twitched, then moved back and forth like fluttering. She could feel the muscles in her back strain, already sore, having never been used, so after a moment of working up, down, back and forth, she folded them, and sighed, a sweat having built up from such an excercise and the heat of the desert still steadily rising.

"Woo," she sighed and looked at Daze, "okay, wings move, progress."

Daze
"Well at least we now know they're not just," Daze paused. "assss.... aeestethi.... for looks," Daze attempted to say aesthetic but gave up on the attempt.

He wasn't a very smart man. It's a wonder anyone actually hangs out with him.

"Alright, so we learned how your wings work, wonder if you can do anything else. Like grow taller, change color or maybe even make disco lights or whatever," Daze nodded, remembering reading about fairies in his comic books. They were a lot smaller in the books and he might be confusing them with elves.
