Hello! Welcome to Broken Futures!

Although we are a based on Dragon Ball keep in mind that we use it for the elements the show brought to us. We are not using ANY canon characters, only the world in which the show was built on. We are mostly a free form RPG with some stats to help track character growth. However, for the most part, your stats only matter in important fights or large events ran by a GM/DM.

We don't have any specific guidelines on what can or cannot be written about. So long as the Zetaboards ToS isn't violated. If a topic gets mature, keep it reasonable and do your best not to violate the host ToS. We don't like to limit you to what you want to write about and will trust your judgement not to make any posts in the extreme.

We are set in Future Trunks' timeline so the world is in ruin. Which would classify it as post-apoc. It's always been the best-styled setting to build a new world on top of. We have built this site to be based around the actions of the players. You will help build the world you're playing in. Every action within major events will influence how the world structures itself.

We have no word count, no canon face claims, no post formatting and no drama. We want you to come here and have fun. Before you sign up, please look over the Game a bit to decide if you are interested. After you've made an account make sure to introduce yourself here and say hello in the Chatbox. Angeles
It did not take her long to feel it. She had been in bed, no clothes, but no Roots either, just enjoying sleeping and hugging a pillow to her chest. But her peaceful sleep had been disturbed, she twitched and her skin itched. It invaded her dreams. Then her eyes fluttered open.

Something was off, like a bad scent on the wind. She lifted her head and looked at the window, confusion on her face. She slipped off the bed and walked over, pulling up the blinds. Her body was bathed in golden light, and there was nothing outside to greet her save the expansive desert.

Despite there being no obvious threat, goosebumps began to crawl down her skin.

Then her eyes widened.

Scrambling she threw on her armor, the material nearly adhearing to her skin from the neck down to her ankles, she attached the piece that was the second part of the armor in it's inactive state. The rest of her clothesm her coat, her boots and her gloves, materialized from a bright glow as she thrust her hand out and made a fade portal.

Kiryu was in sword form the moment she stepped through the fade and she could sense Sin everywhere, but couldn't see him, not at first anyway. It took her only a moment to realize that the walls that ere there did not belong. And her sword slowly began to lower as her eyes turned black from the sheer lust she could feel all over, but other than her breath shaking she remained composed, and her eyes fell on Daze, asleep and half naked.

Angeles walked over to him, her hand reaching for him and paused. More slowly, her fingers gently touched and then moved through his hair, just once, before gripping his shoulder and shaking him firmly.

"Daze wake up," she said in a low tone, "Daze!"

Bruce explained what was on his mind, seemed Daze was involved in something with multiple women, but this confused her a bit because she expected that to be a normal thing for Daze. Minus the heart breaking because most of the people he slept with were whores.

Sorta like her.

Damn.

"Sounds like to me I need to speak to Goemon," Angeles murmured to herself then looked to Bruce, "if every you need, I'll happily come help work this place the old fashion way, I'm not all magic and voodoo," she said, her face straight as she turned and walked up the stairs, "I'll at least make his walls not heavy enough to crash through the floor."

Angeles was soon back in Daze's room, shrugging out of her coat and folding it on Daze's bed, "alright," she sighed and moved to a wall, "let's get started," Angeles put her hands to the wall and covered the surface of it in her energy. It took a little bit of focus for the detail, but when the light faded, the same black marble wall was there, fr all intents and purposes it was stone, but was paper-thin, coating the wall so that the space of the room wasn't compromised.

Sighing a bit again she moved to the next wall to do the same thing.

Daze
Daze watched intently when she began to disrobe a bit. He couldn't help it. Last time she were in his room taking her clothing off things escalated into a much more fun situation. He shook his head, dismissing the thoughts. For about two seconds.

"Ooh, yeah, that's great," he said with a bit of glee in his tone as she did the first wall. "I'm jealous, I wish I could do neat shit like that," Daze sighed, moving to sit on the bed next to her coat. He spread his legs wide and rested his elbows on the bed, leaning back a bit so he could watch from a half-laying half-sitting angle.

Two walls down and Angeles moved across the room to the third, coating it in the black marble, around the window. She looked at the window for a moment and held her hand, replacing the glass in it and then moving to the last wall.

She then turned and knelt, touching her hand to the floor and applying the same carpet he had had, pressing her hand against it to make sure it was appropriately soft, nodded, then stood.

She looked up, moving over and standing on Daze's bed beside where he was laying and reached up to the ceiling, touching it with her fingers so that it also was coated in the black marble, and then with a sigh, lowered her hand and got off his bed.

"There," she said, feeling a little tired and not just from the construction work.

She looked around at the rest of his room, then back at him, "anything else you want?"

Daze
Daze followed her every step. Watching her do her thing. When she stood on the bed, he couldn't help but lean back so that his head hung parallel to the floor, looking up at her... well. Her everything. He noticed details of the body, however the effects of the lust room were wearing off. So he was emitting less of it from his own body.

"Love, affection and world peace?" Daze jested, leaning back so that he was looking at her with his head upside down.

"I know for certain you don't want that," she said, turning and sitting on his bed, then laying back so that she was beside him and sighed, "you would be bored as Hell, and trust me, I've visited Hell, it's very boring."

She smirked slightly, then closed her eyes a huffed a sigh. She was in a creative mood now and wanted to make more things, also that doing so distracted her from the, thankfully fading, lust from the white-haired man.

She lifted her hands, "nothing else you want?" she insisted, dropping her hands to the bed and feeling the blanket, wondering how many people had been in the bed before Daze stole it.

She quickly stopped wondering for her own good.

"Yeah, I went to hell once. There was this talkin' rock who promised me immortality if I killed the King. I assumed he meant King Furry. Only king I know other than me. Y'know, King of the Desert and all that. So I told that demon rock to fuck off. I ain't no king slayer," Daze rambled, talking about the time he went to hell.

Or maybe it was a dream.

He wasn't sure.

"I mean. If I could have anything?" Daze asked, looking around. "Maybe a closet or somethin' for me to actually put what little clothes and shit I actually got?" He answered honestly.

Angeles chuckled, "that's not what Hell's like," she said, and shook her head. She turned and looked at him as he asked for a closet and she stood, her hair sliding off his bed as she walked over and inspected the most promising wall. Knocking on it she frowned at the sound it made, fading to the other room to determine the depth of the wall then fading back in.

"Wall's not thick enough," she murmured to herself, "and I haven't figured out pocket dimension yet. So we'll do this instead."

Angeles found an empty space on one of the walls and held her hands out, creating a large light which faded to be a tall wardrobe.

"There you are, same thing, but not in a wall," she said, opening it up and taking out a hanger, "need help with what little clothes you own?" she smirked.

"Aw, hell yea. I can store like, stuff in there. It'll be great," Daze said, giving her a thumbs up.

Angeles was very handy. She also kept Daze out of trouble. Well... outside of that whole delivering him to Asmodeus thing. We'll just overlook that one. Also the bar fight. That was more Daze's fault though. Oh let's not forget the time she. Well. Nevermind.

"Man, what's up with you girls trying to put clothes on me," Daze laughed in jest to Angeles' offer about helping him with his clothes. "Unless, of course, you meant you wanted to help me get mine off," Daze said with a wink.

Angeles glowered over at Daze but smirked at his sub-offer of undressing him, "I've gotten pretty good at ignoring naked men's bodies under normal means," she said, reaching out and poking him in the chest. A light engulfed him for a few seconds and faded to reveal him in a multi-layer suit, complete with button-down shirt, jacket, pleated pants, gloves, fancy shoes and a tie.

She chuckled when she was done and turned to look for any of his clothes that may have been tossed around the room that could go into the wardrobe.

Daze
"What is this madness!?" Daze exclaimed, looking down at his new clothing prison. "I feel so... trapped..." he whined, maneuvering his torso and arms around, feeling how tight the clothing was on his back, chest and sides.

With a grunt and an abrupt inhale, Daze began to flex his arms a bit. A loud tear-filled the air as the jacket ripped across the back and around the shoulders. Daze couldn't help but grin. He saw it as the suit wasn't strong enough to contain him. Nothing was. He was Daze, King of the Desert.

"Wings... don't put me in clothes prisons. I feel smothered," he whimpered.

If Angeles looked hard enough, she'd find milk crates of clothing under Daze's bed along with drawers to an old nightstand.

Angeles laughed as Daze lost it over the suit and then promptly tore it to pieces. She had just bent to grab a crate full of clothes and laughed again, shaking her head as he whimpered to her and she walked back over to him.

"Well now you made it difficult to actually get off," she said, and made Kiryu into a small knife to begin cutting the threads and scraps pf clothes and dropping them to the ground. Her fingers continuously brushed against his skin, making sure the loose threads fell to the floor. She carefully cut the collar and was able to pull the rest off, leaving his once again bare chest exposed to her, her hand resting on his chest just under his neck. She let out a shaky breath, which she cut short, and then simply stopped breathing for a moment.

"Don't move," she said simply, and knelt before Daze to cut the pants off without damaging the pants underneath. With those on the floor, she transformed Kiryu into a ring and tapped his foot, "alright let's get these off of you," she said quietly, untying the laces first.

"See, told you. You're supposed to take my clothes off, not on," Daze teased, poking fun at Angeles... who was wielding a knife. Not to mention was inches away from a very private location.

Despite all his Wisdom. He was not wise.

Daze could feel her, despite not being in much physical contact while she was dealing with his shoes. Well, more he was imagining what it was like to feel her. She was in a position that made his mind race. He couldn't help it. He had a vivid imagination and despite not being able to remember the details of the time they shared together, he could remember the feeling and imagine the details.

"So, um.... how are you feelin...?" he asked, making pointless banter as a cover.

Angeles felt his joke burn on her skin, it was almost not a joke, not for her, but she fought it down. She removed one of the shoes and tossed it, then removed the second shoe and all but angrily threw it against the wall.

"Honestly Daze," she said softly, "I feel like I'm being torn apart," she said, standing and pressing the heel of her palm against her forehead, closing her eyes tightly.

She opened her mouth and inhaled as if she was going to say something. Closed her mouth and groaned, then sighed, "I think I need to go home."

"Whoa, whoa... no, not like that. Can't just drop a bomb on me like that and split," Daze said, kneeling down so he was eye-level with her. "What's up Wings. What's tearin' you up? I'm sorry if my joke was bad. They all are. I'm not that funny, I know. But it can't just be that. Lemme help you," Daze said, feeling bad now.

He somehow thought it was his fault.

He did everything she wanted him to do thus far. But still. He was an ass. He knew it.

He wanted to make it right.

Daze immediately began apologizing and she covered her face in both hands an shook her head.

"It's not your fault Daze," she groaned again, sighing and dropping her hands. She looked at him, eyes shining with tears and face twisted in apology. She leaned forward and tapped her head against his and closed her eyes. The words caught in her throat. She wanted to explain to him, felt that he at the very least deserved to know, but the words were halted by the knowledge he would just forget them, or misunderstand their gravity, or worse, accept them.

She let out a heavy breath and grimaced in pain, gnashing her teeth for a moment. The walls were gone but she hadn't fully been able to fight down the lust, it was always like that around Daze, in the tournament, for his party. Everytime she was around him, she wanted him again. Sure her sin made her want to fuck everything that moved, but she was always able to ignore it, an annoying hum in the back of her mind.

Daze was different, Daze was like a song, he had much the same affect on her as Terminus did, but he was no lord of lust, and she had no explanation for why, just that she wanted him.

Her hands shakily lifted, then wrapped around Daze and pulled him to her as she buried her face on his shoulder, her wings sagging to the ground, "I'm sorry Daze," she whispered, "I can't... I'm sorry."

This was as unfair to him, as it was to Roots, and she knew it.

Daze
Daze was dumbfounded. He had nothing to say when she began to break down. There was no resistence when she went to embrace him. In fact, it was welcomed. He wrapped his arms around her as well, running his hand down the back of her neck and back, just to where he felt his wrist touch her wings.

"Wing... Angeles," Daze paused, trying hard to say her name instead of the nickname. "Look, I don't know what's wrong. I won't pretend I do... but it's okay. Whatever you need, I'm here, okay?" Daze said, doing the only thing he knew how to do.

Promise to do whatever she needed to be alright. He wanted her to be alright. She was important to him.

He said her name, and she chocked back a sob that shook her shoulders. She kept her eyes closed tight and she gnashed her teeth. She held him tighter and curled her fingers into fists so that she wouldn't dig her nails into his skin. He said he'd give her whatever she needed and she tensed, the feathers on her wings stood on end. She took two deep shaky breaths.

Then leaned forward.

She slowly pushed Daze back, lowering him to the floor until she was staring down at him through pitch black eyes, her hands pressed against the floor to either side of him, her wings still limp on the ground. She was holding herself above him, her knees between his legs as her breath continued to quiver out from between her lips.

"This is what I want," she whispered huskily, biting her lip and looking away from him, looking down his body, "ever since that night, I've wanted this again," her black eyes looked into his again, "but I can't do this Daze. I can't have this, because of Roots, I can't hurt him, I can't ruin the friendship you two have, I can't ruin what we have."

She inhaled sharply, her fingers curling against the carpet as a tear fell onto his cheek.

"What I want would destroy everything, and I have to fight it, and it's tearing me apart," her voice broke and she grimaced again tightly closing her eyes, her forehead resting on his chest, "I"m sorry Daze, I can't...."

She shivered, and her wings lifted slightly, only to fall back to the ground as if they were broken.

Daze
Daze leaned back as she pushed him toward the ground gently. He couldn't help but stare at her in the eyes the entire time. Trying to get a feel for what she was feeling. He wasn't all that bright most of the time. But his feelings guided him. At first, they told him to act on his impulses and take her.

But she spoke...

And he didn't.

"Huh... so I'm your Forbidden Fruit, right?" Daze said plainly, resting one hand on her back, the other on the side of her face. "I won't lie and say I don't want it too," Daze sighed heavily, watching Angeles' body move from his abrupt inhale and exhale of air. "Normally, I'd tell you to do what makes you feel good... but I think we'd fuck some things up pretty bad, won't we?" Daze asked rhetorically.

"My forbidden fruit," she agreed in a trembling breath inches from his skin. She inhaled sharply as his hands touched her, and she lifted her face to look at him, and he rested a hand on her cheek. He wanted it to, something she already knew but the admittance cause her to shiver and draw in a breath that she held. He repeated his creed of life, to do what feels good, but even he, even in this state, knew the damage such an act would cause.

His rhetorical question went unanswered, as it should be, and she looked him in the eye silently. Her body moved somewhat of it's own accord, leaning down to where her lips nearly touched against Daze's pausing just far enough away she could feel his breath.

She grimaced again, shifting and lightly touching her lips to his cheek, then pulled away from him, sitting up on her knees with her head tilted back on her shoulders. She had her eyes closed, and the muscles in her neck tensed as she swallowed, her closed fists against her legs, her nails biting into her palms.

"I," she rasped, then with a sigh her head fell forward, her hair sliding over her shoulders, "and a terrible friend," she opened her eyes and looked down at Daze, "this is not your burden to bear, I'm sorry for revealing them to you."

She bowed her head, closing her eyes again as she concluded softly, "I need my coat, then I will go home."

Daze
Daze's heart paused when she moved in for what felt like a kiss. It took everything in him not to lean into it. If she had. He would not have held back and taken her for himself, indulging in every sin she through at him. He'd have unraveled his entirety right then and now. Consequences be damned. He was in the moment, the future was unknown.

But then she pulled away.

His heart sank. Apparently more of him wanted her to have kissed him than not. He shook his head, sitting up when she did, trying to dismiss the thought. He didn't want to push anything on her. It wasn't his place to do so.

"I...." he hesitated, standing up. He began to walk to the bed, where her coat was. Everything in him paused when he reached for it.

I... am a terrible friend...

Her words stained his mind. They made him angry.

Daze was gone. Vanished from sight in a flash. He couldn't take that feeling. What she said burned in his heart. From behind, Daze moved to embrace her with a hug, trying to hold her close. He fought back the tears welling in his eyes. He was a very emotional person. Angeles of all people knew this.

"No... you're my best friend. Any burden of yours is mine to bear as well..." he whispered.
