Hello! Welcome to Broken Futures!

Although we are a based on Dragon Ball keep in mind that we use it for the elements the show brought to us. We are not using ANY canon characters, only the world in which the show was built on. We are mostly a free form RPG with some stats to help track character growth. However, for the most part, your stats only matter in important fights or large events ran by a GM/DM.

We don't have any specific guidelines on what can or cannot be written about. So long as the Zetaboards ToS isn't violated. If a topic gets mature, keep it reasonable and do your best not to violate the host ToS. We don't like to limit you to what you want to write about and will trust your judgement not to make any posts in the extreme.

We are set in Future Trunks' timeline so the world is in ruin. Which would classify it as post-apoc. It's always been the best-styled setting to build a new world on top of. We have built this site to be based around the actions of the players. You will help build the world you're playing in. Every action within major events will influence how the world structures itself.

We have no word count, no canon face claims, no post formatting and no drama. We want you to come here and have fun. Daze
Kamrun had been gone for the day to go do things. Daze was having trouble remembering what. It was actually good, because Daze needed to do some errands around the village. He had really turned over a new leaf, helping out the people in the village as much as possible. Earning his place there rather than just bumming off of everyone like he used to.

Sure, he protected them. But that more made up for the damage he caused while living there. Besides, nothing bad has happened there in forever.

"Wow Daze, you sure helped me out a bunch. I can't believe she got away like that. I would've been in real trouble if Betty got lost for very long," one of the locals said, patting his cow on the side.

"Mooooo..." the Cow chimed.

"Yeah, well. You let us get milk and cheese at a good deal, so it was least I could do. Betty here has fed me tons of times. Can't let 'er die out there from heat or wolves or whatever," Daze smiled, sticking his hand out to shake the fellow resident of the village's hand.

"Thanks a ton. You tell ole Bruce I said hey, alright?" the man stated.

"Sure will, I should be gettin' back soon anyway," Daze said, sighing happily to himself while staring up at the sky. "Wonder when Kam's gonna get back?" Daze pondered to himself, eyes glued up and hands in his pockets.

"What's on your mind?" Daze's voice called from behind, still slightly wet but dripping.

He had a white towel wrapped around his waist with another being used to dry his hair. He was rather fast with the showering. Shampoo, soap, scrub it up, think about random things and get out. No reason to waste time in there. That and he was curious as to what she was doing so he wanted to get back to her quickly.

"Oh, yeah, I think it's your turn," he laughed, not thinking about the fact that the door might be locked since he faded out of the bathroom into their room.

Not using the door is an inconvenience sometimes.

Kamrun
Kamrun jumped sightly when she heard Daze's voice and then sighed and patted her hand against her chest. Chuckling at how easy it was for him to startle her, she noticed she hasn't heard the sound of a portal opening at all. She shouldn't have expected him to use the door, but she wouldn't have locked it.

"I was just thinking to myself how much room in taking up in your room, my stuff keeps growing in here, like it's alive, taking over," she grinned, "one day you'll walk in here and the walls will have painted themselves girly colors and all your pants will suddenly fit."

She scrunched her nose, teasing, then stood with her selected change of clothes and walked to him, "have a good shower? Cow all washed away?"

"Hey, my pants fit plenty well," Daze protested, enjoying the fit of his tight pants. They displayed his body perfectly in his opinion. Plus they looked good. "And I don't mind, take over all you want. Just a room, I can share," he teased, dismissing her claims of her taking over his room like some kind of growth.

"An' yeah, the shower was nice. All the cow is down the drain now. Cold showers are great in this heat," he praised, walking towards the bed and just sort of flopping himself on it without getting changed first.

"What's the plan today?" Daze inquired, asking her to decide their fate.

Kamrun laughed when Daze countered that his pants fit fine and she laughed. Just like the last time where she was playing the game of trying to find what would annoy him, he said she could do whatever to his room. At the very least he wasn't mad about the herbs.

Daze flopped on the bed and she moved to the side of it and smiled down at him, reaching forward and lightly poking the center of his chest. A cold shower sounded nice actually.

"Well," she said moving her hand away from his damp skin again, "I actually kind of wanted to explore more around the city, see if we can find any hidden caves, maybe on the other side of the rock behind the bar," she chuckled, "but you probably already know if there are caves there."

She looked over to the window and hummed, "do you know of any caves around here?"

Daze
"Uh..." Daze sounded, thinking carefully to himself after twitching from the poke.

He wasn't ready.

"Well, I don't remember," Daze admitted, bearing a shit eating grin for Kamrun to make up for his lack of an answer. "So yeah, we'll go exploring. It'll be great... and worse case I can just make us a cave," he said the last bit slightly under his breath in a poor attempt for her to not hear him.

But she likely would anyway.

Kamrun chuckled and poked him again, "was that a ticklish spot?" She asked, seeing if she could make him twitch again. He admitted to not knowing, or not remembering, if there were any caves nearby, so they would have to look.

Or Daze would make one.

Smirking at the casual tube he used with drastically changing the landscape, she stepped away and moved to the door, "I feel just a little silly taking a shower in preparation to playing in the dirt," she turned grinning, "but I'll be right back, then we can go."

She smiled warmly and exited the room, making her way down the hall to a cold shower.

Daze
Daze was ready this time, he braced himself for the poking and stared with a stern look. If he was ready he wouldn't be tickled. At least that's what he convinced himself of and oddly enough, it worked for him. At least unless she found his actual tickle spots. Which was something he'd keep super secret for as long as he could.

"Nope, keep trying," he teased, watching her get up with a bit of a pout.

He kind of wanted her to.

"Just don't spend too much time thinkin' 'bout me in there, aight?" Daze teased.

"I won't!" she called back to Daze, teasing him just as much as she was already out of the room. She laughed and shook her head, moving in and setting down her change of clothes up off the floor. She checked to make sure there was a towel she could use before closing the door and undressing. With the clothes off the lines of sweat and dirt were obvious, and she would be glad to be clean.

It took her a bit longer to shower, not only because she was literally covered from head to toe in dirt, but long hair made for long showers for having to take the time to shampoo it all. And shampoo was a blessing. But the luke-warm shower she had settled on felt amazing, and she might have stayed in longer save that she didn't want to waste all of Bruce's water, and she promised Daze she wouldn't be long.

So once she was clean and her tired feet happy. She got out, dried off and changed into her clean clothes. She towel dried her hair t the point that it was only damp, and took the towel and pile of dirty clothes into her arms, opening the door and going back down the hall to Daze's room, willing to take his dirty clothes and towel to the laundry pile. Hopefully this time Bruce would let her wash the clothes. She needed to do something to pull her weight around the place.

Daze
Kamrun would have quite the sight as she entered the room. Well. Nothing she hasn't seen before so it's not quite THAT much of a sight. But it was a thing she could see. By that, she would be able to see Daze putting on clothes as opposed to taking them off. Specifically he was tying the laces to his boots, already wearing pants. Still shirtless, though.

He was on the fence about shirts, vests or jackets today.

"Oi!" Daze called out with a wink, standing up, boots all tied. "Nearly lost track of time, I think I may have beat up like fifteen ninja rat warriors while you were gone. All while putting my pants on," Daze teased, making it sounds like she was gone for hours.

Although, his ridiculous story may have actually happened.

At least in his mind.

"Ninja rat warriors!?" she exclaimed, feigning surprise but unable to help but grinning. She managed to grab the clothes without dropping any of the pile in her arms, "why didn't you call on the kitten assassins?"

She gave him a teasing wink and hurried out, "be right back," she called and moved the laundry to the room where it was washed. She would wash these once they were back from their adventure. She returned and smirked at him, walking up and wrapping her arms around his shirtless body.

She smiled happily, holding him, then chuckled and whispered, "not letting go."

"They were tied up, plus I don't have a phone... and I don't know any cats on a personal level. Well, wait.... are Saiyans cats? No, no. Monkeys. That's right," Daze nodded, correcting himself. "Wait, but... Roots is a dog...." Daze paused, squinting, confused at the hole thing, interrupted when Kamrun came back to hug, no, wait. Hold him.

No, not quite that either.

Grapple-hold-hug-challenge him.

"Oh, is that soo...?" Daze questioned playfully in a challenging tone, wrapping his arms around her as well. "But what you weren't ready for... was me to grab hold of you and also not let go on top of you holding me," Daze teased, as if his master plan was deft and unable to be anticipated.

Kamrun chuckled when Daze countered, then when he wrapped his arms around her, she smiled. It felt nice. It always did.

But then he revealed it was his plan all along and she gasped.

"I never saw it coming," she admitted, locking her fingers behind his back, then turning her head to look up at him smiling.

"Well then Mr. Daze it appears we are at an impasse here," she said, feigning what she thought would pass for a secret agent's voice, "if you do not let go, and I will not let go, then how ever shall we go on an adventure?" She grinned, as if the point she made actually made it so that she had the upper hand in this.

Which she really didn't.

"Well, you know, we can always go on an adventure..." Daze paused, shifting his gaze to the bed in a slow and dramatic fashion before returning his gaze to Kamrun. "While seeing who holds on the longest. Challenge mode and all that, loser has to... oh, I don't know. Do a thing, not sure what. Details can be decided later," Daze teased, giving her a playful challenge.

He was hoping she'd agree to the terms. He had a trick up his sleeve.

Also, he was enjoying the teasing her, trying to make her assume his mind was going to the gutter only to make it look like hers was.

He was a dork.

He said that they could still go on an adventure, and she thought he was saying so because he could fade them to wherever without having either of them let go of each other. Then he turned and slowly and deliberately looked at the bed.

She scrunched her nose and bumped her head against his chest, because she couldn't let go to smack him playfully.

"Not ready for that yet Daze," she said and blew at a strand of his hair on his face, "unless you mean like... kissing, and holding onto each other. I think that's called making out," she pursed her lips and hummed, narrowing her eyes in consideration in suspicion, "what sort of adventure were you thinking Mr. Daze?"

"What? I would never suggest something like that, I know it's off limits. Miss Kamrun, how dirty a mind you have," Daze played, sounding as if he were shocked and offended in a sarcastic tone.

"Although, since you suggested it..." Daze winked at her for the laying down, holding and kissing suggestion. "Buuuut, the adventure thing. We turn it into a sort of, what's it called..." Daze paused. "Three leg race or whatever. But holding. Try to get from a place to a place and whoever lets go first loses. You know, since neither of us are gonna let go," Daze teased.

"or the you suggested sounds great to. What was it called again?" Daze continued the playing.

Daze said he wasn't suggesting that and said she had a dirty mind. She pursed her lips more and began to blush slightly, since she had thought of that and he hadn't apparently, though it was possible that he was just pulling her leg. She blushed more however when he asked about what she had suggested, and she tightyl closed her eyes and laughed. Was he really going to make her say it again?

"Making out," she said quietly then coughed, "so a three-legged race you say," hoping to distract the discussion entirely, "but with holding onto each other, so a four legged race with no arms," she nodded vigorously, hoping her distraction attempt would succeed, "sounds fun, let's go, uh... caves right, or somewhere?"

Well this was embarrassing.

"Making out, huh? Yeah, yeah, that's right. Just laying down and kissing. Exploring caves or somewhere, wait.... no, yeah, the race, I remember," Daze said, getting distracted by her distraction.

Which was a difficult to accomplish feat. Few are able to muster.

Few, as in... everyone.

"Yeah, loser has to do a thing for the other person. Like a bet. You game?" Daze asked with a grin.

He had something dubious planned from the look on his face.

Daze seemed to go with the making out plan and Kamrun tightly shut her eyes and grimaced, though smiled. It would be nice, but that would be way too fast, wouldn't it? Making out so soon after started dating? She though it would, maybe? Would be nice.

Dammit.

Luckily Daze brought thoughts back to his race idea and without thinking about it she nodded, "yup deal, whatever you want, loser does a thing," she nodded again. It wasn't making out, which meant it was a good idea.

"I'm game."

Only ow did she notice his look, and she fell oddly quiet, wondering what she had gotten herself into.

"Alright, it's a deal," Daze said with the same grin as before. "Alright, it starts.... now," he said once more, letting go of Kamrun, pulling his arms apart. "Damn, looks like you win," Daze teased, chuckling with the biggest shit eating grin he could manage.

"Looks like I have to do a thing for you. Whatever one thing you want, you're the winner here. So you know, first thing that comes to your mind," Daze said.

He was having too much fun with this. He didn't mind losing if it meant laughs, smiles and overall a good time.

Daze agreed and she smiled sheepishly at the man, prepared to hold on tight as she could, and when it started, she tensed... and he let go. She blinked in shock, continued blinking as he declared her the winner, then grinned.

"Oh you sly--," he told her to ask for the first thing that came to her mind, and the blush that had started to go away came back in full force.

Her mind was still on making out with Daze.

She sputtered as her mind scrambled for something for him to do, anything else.

But her mind was drawing blanks, and she had quite the deer in the headlights look before she finally sputtered.

"K-kiss me," yeah, sure, one kiss would be fine, not making out, just one kiss. Her face felt so hot and she tightly closed her eyes laughing, "dammit Daze you did that on purpose!"
