| Hello! Welcome to Broken Futures!
Although we are a based on Dragon Ball keep in mind that we use it for the elements the show brought to us. We are not using ANY canon characters, only the world in which the show was built on. We are mostly a free form RPG with some stats to help track character growth. However, for the most part, your stats only matter in important fights or large events ran by a GM/DM.
We don't have any specific guidelines on what can or cannot be written about. So long as the Zetaboards ToS isn't violated. If a topic gets mature, keep it reasonable and do your best not to violate the host ToS. We don't like to limit you to what you want to write about and will trust your judgement not to make any posts in the extreme.
We are set in Future Trunks' timeline so the world is in ruin. Which would classify it as post-apoc. It's always been the best-styled setting to build a new world on top of. We have built this site to be based around the actions of the players. You will help build the world you're playing in. Every action within major events will influence how the world structures itself.
We have no word count, no canon face claims, no post formatting and no drama. We want you to come here and have fun. Hidden power [1:1] Skill Not all of ones powers on display when they are first encountered. Some individuals have hidden power that can only be revealed after another form has been taken. When in the form true nature attacks performed receive a .5 multiplier. When in the corrupt form destra attacks performed receive a 1.5 multiplier [20 wisdom] none
Silent footfall [1:1] Skill You walk among the shadows, and as such you are required to walk silently. You have done this more often and not, and have learned how much pressure to use when walking on various surfaces to remain silent. A user must make an aptitude check against your aptitude. If there aptitude beats yours then they can hear your footsteps. Those with enhanced hearing only need to beat 50% of your aptitude to hear you. [aptitude 15, strength 15] -none
Mask Presence [1:5] Ability For some time you have clung to the shadows. It has made it so that you've learned how to mask your presence and your intent. People have a hard time gauging what it is you will do, or how you will act. A player trying to detect you gets a -15% to there check. This increases with each level by 15% and at level 5 caps out at -75%. If an detection atbs does not have a check. Then they must beat 25% of a stat that is required to use that atbs on the player they are trying to detect. This increases to 100% at level 5. [unknown] -none/ ATBS that fall under secondary condition are enhanced senses, hyper sensitive hearing, enhanced hearing etc.
Under the Radar [1:5] Ability You know people have a way of tracking you, but you value your secrecy and your privacy. Those who hope to keep track of you have found it difficult just to do that. That is unless you want them to find you. Requires atbs that keep track of a player, or mark a player to undergo a stat check. If the tracker aptitude, or wisdom is higher then 25% of the targets aptitude, or wisdom then the tracker can find them. This increases to 100% at level 5. [Aptitude 10, wisdom 10] -none/ The check can be bypassed with permission from the target. If permission is granted then the check automatically succeeds for the tracker.
Rapid Fire Ki Blast [1:5] Attack You've learned how to form ki and how to use it as a projectile. At this point you've also learned how to quickly form ki energy and fire it in quick succession. This allows you to fire five quick successive shots at your opponent. Each shot is 25% of your spirit stat in power. {25 spirit, ki blast} Cost 2% of power level per an attack./Can only be used once per a level. Can only be used once per a post.
Fade Step [1:5] Ability You have learned how to use a fade portal to travel large distances, but it can be inconvenient if you only want to travel a short distance. You've found a way which allows you to do this for shorter distance. Allows the user to use a fade portal to travel to a spot that they can visibly see. [Fade, 20 wisdom] -5% power level when used in combat./When in combat can be used once per a level.
Teleportation [1:5] Technique You have found a way to travel faster then it was thought possible. To your opponent it appears that you are teleporting from one place to another. In reality this is just a trick and an optical illusion you've managed to create from the technique being used. Allows for the user to quickly cover distance between them self and an opponent. Can be used to dodge an attack if the user wisdom+spirit stat is higher then the attacks stat used. If wisdom+spirit is half the user stat used in the attack then the attack is considered quick enough to hit, while the user is initiating this ability, but not enough to interrupt it. [must know Fade Step and ki burst, 20 spirit, 20 wisdom] -10% power level/ can only be used once per a level.
Organic Weapon [1:5] Technique You are a walking armory. You have found ways to create weapons from yourself. It doesn't matter what type of weapon you need, as long you know what the weapon looks like you can create it. Allows the user to create weapons from them self. These weapons are considered a physical extension of the user, as such these weapons can be used in conjunction with ATBS like Channeling ki, and ki slash. Additional any atbs being used in conjunction with channeling ki has that damage added to it. [cytokenises, 20 aptitude, 20 dexterity] -5% power level per a weapon created/ can create one weapon per a level.
Piercing Strike [1:1] skill You have analyzed various ways your opponents have come to defend them self. You have also found a way for your attacks to still hit them while they are defending. If an opponents ATBS would block damage it instead blocks half the damage of the attack. If an opponents atbs reduces damage from an attack add half of the attacks damage to the the attack before or after the reduction takes place. [20 in all stats] none

Ki Suppression [1:3] Technique Blocking ones ki is not all ways the best approach to a situation. Some times it is enough just to suppress ones ki to a lower level. At level 1 Ki sensing and scouting technology can only detect 25% of your power level. At level 2 these technologies can only detect 50% of your power level, and at level 3 these technologies can only detect 75% of your power level {Spirit 8} approved by cloud 5/7/2015
Mental Barrier [1:2] Ability. Mental Barrier is a mind shield that increases your Willpower when your willpower is being checked by an OPPONENTS psychic ATBS by 25% per level. {Willpower 25} approved by Bowwy 6/23/2015
Shadelight[1:4] Technique Launches a small ball of darkness that attaches to whatever it hits. On contact the ball erupts and enshrouds the object in darkness. Darkness is strong enough to blot out light sources, making it difficult to see. Can use once per level in a thread. {Wisdom 8} approved by Bowwy 6/23/2015

Shade Prison[1:5] Technique A prison that envelops a person in pitch black darkness. While trapped in the darkness a person begins to doubt themselves. Gradually becoming weaker the longer they linger inside the darkness. Reduces a targets stats by 5% for each post they remain in the darkness. This decrease increases by 5% per a level. At lv 5 it becomes 25%. Whoever is in the prison will still be able to attack if they are able to. Once every other level (so three times at level 5). In order to escape the darkness, The target's Wisdom, Willpower or Aptitude is checked against the power cost of the ability, if the check is meet or exceeded then the target may break free. If the target can not meet this requirement they will be stuck in the darkness until one stat hits zero, or until a person other then the effected target uses torchlight to dispel the darkness. Stats will remain reduced for the number of post the target was trapped in the prison. Disable Magic[1:100] Technique A technique designed to disable a magical item with just one touch for the remainder of a thread (until repaired). The level of this Technique must match or exceed the level of the magical item you are disabling. {12 Wisdom} -None- approved by bowwy 7/28/2015
Disabling Wave M[1:100] Technique A variant of the disable wave technique. Instead of disabling technology the wave of energy disables magical items. Magical items hit by this technique are disabled for the remainder of the thread(until repaired). For each level of this technique the range increases by ten feet. Absorption Barrier [1:4] Technique A barrier that is designed to absorb the energy from incoming ki and psychic attacks. This renders the attack useless, while restoring your power level. At Level 1 10% of the incoming attacks damage is added to your power level. At Level 2 15% of the incoming attacks damage is added to your power level. At Level 3 20% of the incoming attack damage is added to your power level. At Level 4 25% of the incoming attacks damage is added to your power pool. To break through the barrier the attacking players stat must be greater then the users spirit + willpower stat. In case of multiple attacks hitting the barrier which qualify. The damage is added up and divided by the number of attacks, before the energy absorbed is calculated. {30 spirit, 15 willpower, know Absorb Essence, Energy Field, Psychic Barrier} Uses 10% of your power level./ usable once per thread, twice at level 4. Can not move while the technique is being used, and does not absorb physical or magical attacks. Techniques like the super dragon fist and ki claws will pass through the barrier, as these are counted as physical attacks concerning this technique. Approved by bowwy 9/25/2015
Exquisite Skill[1:5] Skill You have trained to know where to hit your opponent, while also training yourself on how to resists the techniques of your opponent. Increases the amount of time a player is under a status effect you inflicted by one turn per a level. Decreases the amount of time you are effected by a players status effect by one turn per a level. [10 willpower, 10 strength] none/This skill can not reduce the status effect below one turn/post. Approved by bowwy 10/25/2015
Cellular Memory [1:1] Ability While capable of absorbing the essence of life forms you may not remember everything that race has to offer. Despite this, lying dormant in your cells resides those memories its just a matter of causing them to remember. Allows the user to create variations of exclusive atbs from species they have absorbed [be a type 3 android, Absorb Essence] Approved by Bowwy 1/26/2016
Guidance [1:10] Technique You've learned how to use your psionic abilities in conjunction with your ki. This allows you to mentally guide your attacks towards an opponent even after they have dodged them. Though you require line of sight, or to be able to sense there ki in order to be able to do this. Attack can be guided towards a target until it hits or is destroyed. For each level the user can guide one additional spirit based attack. This maxes out at ten. If the target is hidden from sight and has ki blocking,then a stat check is performed using X% of your Spirit Vs their relevant stat. X = 33, rounding to 100 at level 3 to see if you can sense them. {Spirit 12, Telekinesis, Ki Track} -5% power level added to the technique applied to/does not apply to beam type attacks like the Kamehameha Approved by bowwy 1/28/2016
Succubus Touch [1:1] Technique You have learned from a lust demon how to siphon the energy out of people by just touching them. While absorbing energy from an opponent you absorb 10% per post you successfully grabbed or grappled them. You can absorb up to your max power level from your opponent. To escape the grapple a person strength must be 25% of your strength stat. {Minor Eidolon of Lust [2:3]} None/ Can only absorb energy from an opponent while grappling/grabbing them. approved by bowwy 2/3/2016
Raven's Call [1:5] Skill Your cells have memories of the past. Perhaps not of this version of you, but of a more tougher and harder to put down version of yourself. At times you hear it in your dreams the call of the raven. If the user reaches 0 PL, they may spend one post reviving themselves from unconsciousness and restore X% PL. X = 2 per level. {25 strength, Cellular Memory} None. Once every other level. Approved by Galileo 4/7/2016
Mistress Aura [1:5] Ability There are those who are meant to serve, and those who are meant to be served. You are one of those who are meant to be served. You exude an aura of dominance, which makes it harder for others to fight you. Activated: Until the end of combat, whenever the user is targeted by an enemy ATBS or Item, this Ability reduces the enemy's Stats by 5% per level, but only during the ATBS or Item use. If someone's Highest Mental Stat exceeds the user's Will then this Ability has no effect on them. {75 willpower} -5% PL per post during combat. Approved by Galileo 4/7/2016
True Nature [1:5] Technique, Transformation Ran transforms into a more demonic appearance. Revealing her true nature to others. This also gives her a small power boost. Each level increases stats by 5%. Each level also increases and restores 4% of max power level. These increases last for 1 post per level per thread. {25 in all stats} -20% power level/ takes a single post to achieve Approved by Galileo 4/7/2016
Corrupt Form: Destra [1:4] Technique, Transformation You have found a way to tap into your cells memories to achieve something that was thought impossible. You have found a way to transform into a more powerful demonic being. Through testing you have found this form has some unique qualities to it. For each level of this technique the user gains +5 to aptitude, spirit, and wisdom stats. This maxes out at +20 to these stats at level 4. These increases last for 1 post per level per thread. {Type 3 android: demon; Cellular Memory; True Nature} -20% power level/ can only be used after true nature. Takes one post to achieve. Alter Fade[1:1] Skill Having learned how to enter into the fade, and having spent time inside of it. You have begun to understand how the planner space works. This has allowed you to alter the dimension to your whims. Allows the player to alter the fade to something more then a blank space. Manipulating it to look like a city, specific area, or various terrain. Also allows for alteration of gravity and other aspects while in the fade. [Entering Infinite] approved by bowwy 4/14/2016
Land of Illusion [1:1] Ability You alter the fade so that your opponent sees the one thing they fear, or desire. Perhaps even fighting against them self, or a version of them self. The land is an illusion, but what it creates can still be considered a threat. When used in combat hose considered enemies suffer a -4% power level drain. If the player considered an enemy mental stat is higher then the casters willpower+wisdom then they can tell everything is an illusion. Upon realizing everything is an illusion the player that is seen as an enemy suffers only a -2% power level drain. [Alter Fade] -20% power level if used in combat. approved by bowwy 4/14/2016
Silent Assassin [1:1] Ability You prefer the shadows and discretion, while others like to go at it loud. You prefer the more silent and calculated approach. You prefer to leave little trace of your existence, and to strike your opponent when they least expect it. Demonic Will [1:3] Technique, Transformation Ran powers up even further by drawing on the negative energies around her; enveloping her in a black aura. Spirit Control[1:3] Ability You have learned about ki and how to use it. You have also become more efficient on how much ki you need to use for your techniques. This reduces the cost of atbs that use the spirit stat by 10% for each level of this ability. Ascended Transformer [1:100] Skill You have spent time getting used to your new forms. It is now to the point that you could spend days, or weeks in these forms much like you do with your current body. You also have found it easier to transform between forms with this new comfort-ability Each level of this skill increases the time limit of transformations by one post. At level fifty it takes half a post to transform. At level 100 you can transform at will, and post limit on transformations is removed. Rapid Fire Dodon Ray [1:10] Attack While one dodon ray is good. Multiple dodon rays has to be even better ? You have learned how to quickly fire multiple dodon rays, but the increased speed comes with reduced power. Does half the users spirit stat in damage + 25% of your spirit stat. Fires up to ten dodon rays in quick succession. Counts as one attack if dodged using an atbs. If the target dexterity, or aptitude is 50% higher then the attackers spirit. They may dodge one beam, but each beam dodged in this manner increases the check by 5%. [45 spirit, dodon ray, rapid fire ki blast] -7% power level per a shot/numbers of blasts per thread is equal to three per level (3 10x dodan rays per thread) Approved by Bowwy on 5/16/2016
No Shame [1:3] Ability You have walked through Asmodeus' kingdom, and beyond it in a rather compromised position. What at first felt unnatural to you. Has become natural to you and doesn't daunt you. You have more confidence in your physical appearance, and in yourself. This is to the point you feel no shame in your actions regardless in what they are. People opinion, thoughts and those who attempted to stop you have little effect on your state of being. Disables any ATBS or trait which uses the wording Negate, Prevent, or Useless in it until the end of the thread. [50 willpower] -10% power level/Can only be used once per a level. Minor Eidolon of Lust [1:3] Technique Increase and Restore the user's power level by 10% when they have consumed the part of (Blood, saliva, flesh, etc.) of a player character who participates in the Sin of choice or if the Sin itself happens before the user (Excessive Anger, Laziness, A display of Pride, etc.). Acts of Sin happening around the user do not have to happen in the same post, just in the same thread. Each use is a case by case basis. Path of Passion [1:1] Skill You have visited the lands of lust, and have stayed for a number of weeks. During your stay you felt the sin associated with passion and lust grow stronger then what it had been before. This ATBS treats minor eidolon of lust as if it was a regular Eidolon of lust atbs {Minor Eidolon of Lust [3:3]} -none/ This over rides minor eidolon of lust effects with those of a regular Eidolon of lust atbs. Demonic Beam [1:5] Attack Taken the dodon ray you have made it into your own. In some sense you have made it more powerful and destructive. Though it appears to have lost some of its speed. Does 225% of the spirit stat in damage or 450% of the spirit stat in damage. Shade Prison[1:5] Technique A prison that envelops a person in pitch black darkness. While trapped in the darkness a person begins to doubt themselves. Gradually becoming weaker the longer they linger inside the darkness. Reduces a targets stats by 5% for each post they remain in the darkness. This decrease increases by 5% per a level. At lv 5 it becomes 25%. Whoever is in the prison will still be able to attack if they are able to. Once every other level (so three times at level 5). In order to escape the darkness, The target's Wisdom, Willpower or Aptitude is checked against the power cost of the ability, if the check is meet or exceeded then the target may break free. If the target can not meet this requirement they will be stuck in the darkness until one stat hits zero, or until a person other then the effected target uses torchlight to dispel the darkness. Stats will remain reduced for the number of post the target was trapped in the prison. At Level 3 20% of the incoming attack damage is added to your power level. At Level 4 25% of the incoming attacks damage is added to your power pool. To break through the barrier the attacking players stat must be greater then the users spirit + willpower stat. In case of multiple attacks hitting the barrier which qualify. Fires up to ten dodon rays in quick succession. Counts as one attack if dodged using an atbs. If the target dexterity, or aptitude is 50% higher then the attackers spirit. They may dodge one beam, but each beam dodged in this manner increases the check by 5%. If wisdom+spirit is half the user stat used in the attack then the attack is considered quick enough to hit, while the user is initiating this ability, but not enough to interrupt it. Silent footfall [1:1] Skill You walk among the shadows, and as such you are required to walk silently. You have done this more often and not, and have learned how much pressure to use when walking on various surfaces to remain silent. A user must make a mental check against your dexterity. If there stat beats yours then they can hear your footsteps. Those with enhanced hearing only need to beat 50% of your dexterity to hear you. [dexterity 15, wisdom 15] -none-
Mask Presence [1:5] Ability For some time you have clung to the shadows. It has made it so that you've learned how to mask your presence and your intent. People have a hard time gauging what it is you will do, or how you will act. A player trying to detect you gets a -15% to there check. This increases with each level by 15% and at level 5 caps out at -75%. [Silent Footfall, Mental Blocking, dexterity 20, wisdom 20] -none
Under the Radar [1:5] Ability You know people have a way of tracking you, but you value your secrecy and your privacy. Those who hope to keep track of you have found it difficult just to do that. That is unless you want them to find you. Requires atbs that keep track of a player, or mark a player to undergo a stat check. If the tracker mental stat is higher then 25% of the users wisdom then the tracker can find them. This increases to 100% at level 5. [wisdom 10] -none/ The check can be bypassed with permission from the target. If permission is granted then the check automatically succeeds for the tracker.
Disabling Blast [1:1] Ability Sometimes an attack has more to it then hurting your opponent. You've found a way for your ki to cause your opponent to stop moving for a short bit. Fires a ki blast which prevents the target from acting for 1 turn. [ki blast, 10 spirit] -5% power level
Corrupt Transformation [1:5] Technique, Transformation You have found a way past what were believed to be your limitations. This has become possible by taping into the memory of your cells. From that you have found previous untapped potential. For Each level of this technique the user gains 5% to aptitude, spirit, and wisdom stats. Retribution Armor [1:5] Bio-Armor You've gained the ability to use the bio armor of an arcosian. Most armor just protects the user but this does a bit more. Reduces Damage by 5% per a level capping at 25% at level 5. Damage reduced by the bio armor is stored and added onto the attack damage of your next attack.
Second Stage: Upon transforming the bio armor looks different to suit your increased abilities. The armor reflects your heritage much closer, but also has gained additional benefits. For each level the user gains +2 to any stat during a stat check , maxing out at +10 at level 5. For each level the user also gain increase spirit. This starts out at +3 at level 1 and maxes out at +15 at max level. So this is a total of 150 shots given (10*3=30*5=150). Going to say no to that, reduce the amount of shots, and also state in the ATBS if the shots need to be dodged individually, or if one dodge will dodge all of the ten shots.

Reworded the crap out of this one to make sense, again does the same thing. Did however remove the ‘until one stat reaches 0’ clause as that would mean that anyone who is not Angeles/human would be completely unaffected by it, given everyone on the board has at least one stat that is already at 0. Instead replaced it with ‘stats cannot go below 0’.

Range was killed, meaning it doesn’t exist anymore. Also has nothing to do with Willpower or Spirit that I can see, so just remove those reqs along with disrupting shot and psychic wave and increase the apt req to 50 to balance. I’d also like to see the part that it can be blocked by cars removed, that’s an easily exploited cop-out for your opponent and is silly.

This does not need to be as complicated as it is. Remove the +25% spirit in the first clause. If it counts as one attack if dodged, then there doesn’t need to be the ‘each beam dodged increases stat check by 5%’ remove that as well.

Make a note that it takes a post for the second stage activation to be complete like all transformations. I also want Physical stat reqs for something this impressive.

Do not move any of the ATBS that I have said 'this is fine; to any sort of approved section yet until these are all take care of, given that a lot of them use your own customs as reqs. Also please clarify what the ones marked as Outdated are.

What are the outdated ATBS? I'm going to explain this, since it iss rather quick. It is late and I need to get up for work, so I'll get to the larger fish tomorrow. The outdated tab is where all of my previously approved ATBS go. Those are just outdated ATBS that have had a newer or tweaked version approved. For instance after the "list" is dealt with most of the ATBS in the approved tab will be marked as outdated and moved to the outdated tab. It is mostly there as a reference to previous versions of an ATBS.

Ki Suppression [1:3] Technique [Learned] Blocking ones ki is not all ways the best approach to a situation. Some times it is enough just to suppress ones ki to a lower level. At level 1 Ki sensing and scouting technology can only detect 25% of your power level. At level 2 these technologies can only detect 50% of your power level, and at level 3 these technologies can only detect 75% of your power level {Spirit 10}

For some reason, I'm not sure why, the newer version of rapid fire ki blast never made it into the pending section of the ATBSapocolypse tab. A newer version was in the pending tab, but I'll repost it here for sake of ease.
Rapid Fire Ki Blast [1:5] Attack You've learned how to form ki and how to use it as a projectile. At this point you've also learned how to quickly form ki energy and fire it in quick succession. This allows you to fire five quick successive shots at your opponent. Each shot is 25% of your spirit stat in power. {25 spirit, ki blast} Cost 2% of power level per an attack./Can only be used once per a level. Can only be used once per a post.

Disabling Wave [1:100] Technique A wave of energy which disables technology. Technology hit by this technique is disabled for the remainder of the thread (until repaired). Disable Magic[1:100] Technique A technique designed to disable a magical item with just one touch for the remainder of a thread (until repaired). Disables a wis-based item. Disabling Wave M[1:100] Technique A variant of the disable wave technique. Instead of disabling technology the wave of energy disables magical items. Magical items hit by this technique are disabled for the remainder of the thread(until repaired). For each level of this ability you can disable one more item. The level of this Technique must match or exceed the level of the magical items you are disabling. {50 wisdom, know disable magic} none/Can only be used once per a level.
Something I noticed about the disable wave techniques is that they don't have an item limit, so I've retroactively put one in.
Absorption Barrier [1:4] Technique [Learned] A barrier that is designed to absorb the energy from incoming ki and psychic attacks. This renders the attack useless, while restoring your power level. At Level 1 10% of the incoming attacks damage is added to your power level, and increase by 5% for every level after. To break through the barrier the attacking players stat must be greater than the user’s spirit + willpower stat. In case of multiple attacks hitting the barrier which qualify, the damage is averaged before the energy absorbed is calculated. Cannot move while the technique is being used, and does not absorb physical or magical attacks. {30 spirit, 30 Willpower, Energy Field, Psychic Barrier} Uses 10% of your power level. Usable once per thread, twice at level 4.
The reason cellular memory is worded the way I have is due to how the trait bio-engineered works for type 3. There is a section near the end which says "You cannot learn any additional ATBS from that species, only gain their starting ATBS. This does nothing against other Androids. If you absorb traits from any race with a transformation trait (saiyan, demon etc), you do not absorb the transformation."
If I made Cellular Memory so that she could learn species exclusive atbs of species she absorbed. Then it would be in essence a direct cancellation of the above mentioned clause in bio engineered. Then we get into the notion of what takes precedents does what the trait say officially go, or does Cellular Memory just negate that part of the Trait. By making it variations we side step that entire problem.
Guidance actually does require telekinesis. The idea behind it is that ran is guiding the projectile with her mind, which is why it requires line of sight. I put ki track in there, since the atbs does something similar but with ki tracking. This was an older version of guidance

In theory ki track is augmented by rans ability to track a person visually. I believe this is how freeza could in essence direct his destructo disk, and how yamcha spirit ball works. This isn't an attack as well, but rather an augment to other none beam based ki attacks, which is why it adds power level to an attack. In theory ran can still guide the attack as long she can see a person even if they suppress there ki. Her demonic sight also makes it so she could in theory track some one even if they hid behind say a boulder.

Well that is odd spirit control does have a requirement. I'm not sure why it didn't get copy and pasted over.

Okay I'm not sure how awake you are when you were looking at these, but it seems you either don't understand what the ability does, or what certain sections of an atbs does. It also doesn't feel like you going back and looking at why these things were approved in the way they were. This is why I link directly to the post the request was approved in.
The second part of rapid fire dodon ray is a built in dodge. If the opponents characters dexterity or aptitude is 50% higher they can dodge one beam out of the ten, because they can either nimbly dodge it, or can predict where the attacks path is. Again using stats in an abstract manner and not there black and white definition. In this way if a person wanted to dodge all ten beams in this manner they would ultimately need 100% of ran's spirit stat, or double rans spirit stat. Its a way to possibly reduce the damage, or negate the attack with out burning a defensive atbs.
Now as I explained to bowwy most of my atbs are combinations of things. Rapid fire dodon ray is a combination of dodon ray, and rapid fire ki blast. Dodon ray does damage equal to spirit stat and rapid fire ki blast does 25% spirit damage. Due to the rapid nature of the attacks its half the spirit stat + 25% of the spirit stat in damage. So for rans current spirit it would be 15+26% of spirit = damage.

Disabling Wave M[1:100] Disable Magic should be pleanty. A mass item hate for magic toys is rather redundant.
Land of Illusion [1:1] Ability (either refund or use recommended stat cost) You alter the fade so that your opponent sees the one thing they fear, or desire. Perhaps even fighting against them self, or a version of them self. The land is an illusion, but what it creates can still be considered a threat. When used in combat hose considered enemies suffer a -4% power level drain. If the player considered an enemy mental stat is higher then the casters willpower+wisdom then they can tell everything is an illusion. Upon realizing everything is an illusion the player that is seen as an enemy suffers only a -2% power level drain. True Nature [1:5] Delete this as redundant with another transformation. A better one has been made and we cannot normally have multiples running.
The stacking forms needs to relax, slightly. What you've done with kind of combining them all into one I appreciate, so we should take that route.
Also, the bio armor you drafted is waaaaay too good. For 5 levels it's better than a lot of ten level items.

Okay finally settled down a bit after getting back from work. Right now I'm going to be putting land of illusion and alter fade into the in works section, once this is all done. This is mostly till I figure out what I'm doing with them. Now lets get on to the main event.

This confuses me a bit. Disable Magic is based on Disable tech, except it works on magic items. In that case why does it have a much higher requirement then disable tech, along with a power cost.
Disable Tech [1:100] Technique A technique designed to disable a piece of Technology with just one touch for the remainder of a thread (until repaired). The level of this Technique must match or exceed the level of the technology you are disabling. {12 Aptitude} -None-
Another thing is that your fine with disable wave, which does the same thing as disable wave m for regular items. Also its not redundant if the disable wave techniques are meant to be used to disable multiple items at once, especially against multiple opponents.
You people really don't like that built in dodge.

Okay another question about the above. If I'm reading ki blast right a person can fire a ki blast five times in a single post. So why was the number of shots fired from rapid fire ki blast reduced from five to three ? Also why was the cost increased ?

Shadow Step [1:10] Technique You have found a way to travel faster than it was thought possible. To your opponent it appears that you are teleporting from one place to another. In reality this is just a trick and an optical illusion you've managed to create from the technique being used. Allows for the user to quickly cover distance between them self and an opponent. Can be used to dodge an attack if the user’s wisdom+spirit stat is higher than the attack stat used. [must know Fade and ki burst, 20 spirit, 20 wisdom] -10% power level/ can only be used once every other level.
Silent footfall [1:1] Skill You walk among the shadows, and as such you are required to walk silently. You have done this more often and not, and have learned how much pressure to use when walking on various surfaces to remain silent. A target must check Apt, Wil, or Wis against your dexterity. If their stat beats yours then they can hear your footsteps. Those with enhanced hearing only need to beat 50% of your dexterity to hear you. [dexterity 20, wisdom 20] -none-
Mask Presence [1:5] Ability For some time you have clung to the shadows. It has made it so that you've learned how to mask your presence and your intent. People have a hard time gauging what it is you will do, or how you will act. A player trying to detect you gets a -15% to their stat check. This increases with each level by 15% and at level 5 caps out at -75%. [Silent Footfall, Mental Blocking] -none-
Disabling Blast [1:4] Ability Sometimes an attack has more to it then hurting your opponent. You've found a way for your ki to cause your opponent to stop moving for a short bit. Fires a ki blast which prevents the target from acting for 1 turn. The target is required to make a strength check vs 25% of your spirit stat. For each level the check is increased by 25% maxing out at 100% at level 4. If the stat check succeeds then the user may still act that turn. [ki blast, 50 spirit] -5% power level added to an attack
I use the word replace because I'm not sure how this is going to go. The idea is that corrupt transformation will take the place of true form and corrupt form destra. Condensing the two transformations into one. On the other hand if this doesn't go through then those two transformations are still required. This would also change the requirements of demonic will if this goes through in some form.
Okay now for the elephant in the room apparently. The idea is that the armor is shielding both rans physical and mentally. The armor isn't like a normal piece of armor as its biological armor, which means its a part of ran rather then say Roots or Angeles armor. If ran can normally shield her mental state then isn't it logical biological armor, that is an extension of herself, would be able to do the same thing ?
The increase in stats is also temporary, as they are only there when a stat check is needed to be made. The only increase which would be constant is the increase to spirit.

I think you might have missed this. For reference, Tao's cloak is 5 levels and grants +10 to stat checks. It might be Bio Armor, but it's not THAT good.
For Disable Magic...that's a good point, but it's a flavor thing. Let's cut it in half and go 5%.

The version without the built-in stat check is just to make the move easier. In any case, why would you want it? It makes your move explicitly worse.
For Rapid Fire Ki Blast, I believe you're mistaken. Ki Blast only allows 1 per post. Maybe you should check the Oracle ATBS 'Multiple Ki Blasts'. You might find that one more to your liking, and you get just get your EXP back for this move.
Raven's Call was changed to once per thread because getting three rez from 0% and then to 10% is way overpowered.

You never really answered my point on the disable wave techniques, and why does it still need a power level cost, and such a high requirement ? Your not answering the point bought up, and are instead feels like trying to brute force something here.
To me it feels like standardization, anything that isn't clearly black and white or would go against the boards rules, or bend them in a different way is being gotten rid of. You were fine with the built in dodge no more then three weeks ago when you approved it. Like I said the idea was to allow the player to dodge the atbs with out an atbs. Not everything has to be you get hit or you don't get hit because you have a defensive atbs. The board is heavily in favor of more defensive characters, because the more defensive atbs you have the more damage you don't have to take.

that number of shots is equal to three per a level doesn't make sense to me. What is it trying to say ?
How is it too powerful ? 10% of 2,000 is only 200, or would you rather have preferred the recovery cost in its original state of the ATBS.

You regain 75% of your power level. {20 strength} -none/ each time this skill is used the pl recovered is reduced by 25%.
Multi ki blast really isn't an attack. It just augments ki blast by allowing additional ki blast past the first one. So ki blast is 1% power level for one shot, a second shot in that through multi ki blast would be 3% a third shot through that would be 5% a forth shot through that would be 7% and a fifth shot through that would be 9%. Rapid fire ki blast all ready does this at a much higher cost.

Cost 2% per an attack but can only be used once per a level and once per a post. That's five shots in one post. That is 10% power level for one five shot attack. I came up with this months before multi ki blast came out, if anything its a variation on my rapid fire ki blast atbs. Multi ki shot just allows for full powered ki blasts, while mine halves the damage for "quicker" firing of ki blast. I'm starting to think I need to go through each and every one of these ATBS and give long ass explanations on what they all do, because using the standard format with you people doesn't seem to be working.

The author of the ATBS had made a complaint about being the first reviewed and setting a precedence to the other reviews following. As such the completion of the review for this author's ATBS will be postponed until all others are reviewed to prevent further complaints.

Since you seem admit on the whole one use equals one attack let me just adjust the cost. This is the abilities true cost with out the wording of -x% power level per an attack.
