Ernst von Traustson was disturbing alms to the poor inside St.Stephens Catherdral when the Imperial courier arrived bearing the the request from the Kaiser for the Archbishop to head a diplomatic delegation destined for England, along with a letter of introduction to the English crown. von Trauston never being one to delay asked one of his priests to give out the the remaining alms and left to prepare for his long trip.

It took a little more than than a week the Imperial delegation was ready to start their journey, the largest setback to the preparations was the unexpected size of the household of Archduchess Maria Anna, who to the surprise of the Archbishop would be accompanying joining the delegation.

The delegation left the Imperial city and made its way to the port of Trieste where they boarded two conscripted merchant vessels and head South down the Adriatic hugging the Italian coast. The delegation's vessels then made their way around the boot and past Sicily and headed toward the Rock, after which they would shot straight towards the English coast.

After weeks at sea the Imperial ships finally made it to the English Channel and landed at Dover. Once the luggage of all the Archduches's ladies-in waiting and the gifts for the English Court were unloaded, the reperestives head for the English court to be received by the the King and Queen.
