Surprise!! Wow, sure feels special being the most anticipated guest. But I owe you all an explanation. No, I was not silenced. I had a very busy weekend, and then I went away and forgot to bring my laptop. I could only check like twice very briefly to see who died and then later whether the Day was still going or not. But when I came back, it was over. So, very sorry about my absence but that's the only explanation. In any case, I was very relieved to find we got a Mafia! After a slip no less... I have a lot to say about Gan Fall's wagon but all in good time. Boa's death is a bit unexpected. I suppose she was pretty much a confirmed Townie with her claim, but there were others who claimed too. I'm wondering why Nero was kept alive, after claiming Cop. That same Nero claims he got a green report on Inazuma. It's one's word against the other's here. Inazuma claimed to have been silenced on Day 1. We now know the silencer didn't strike again yesterday, so either it was a one-off thing, or the silencer could strike again but chose not to. Which leaves the question: why would a Silencer (possibly with a one shot-ability) target a random player on Day 1, during the day? In any case, Silencer is a Mafia role, so if it's true, Inazuma can't be Mafia. And it would be pretty weird if Inazuma made up being silenced out of the blue. Then there is Nero's report. He says he investigated Inazuma and got a green report. Very bold claim to come forward as a Cop on Day 2. If Nero is telling the truth, and Inazuma is Third Party, that means we need to get rid of Inazuma sooner or later. It also works out with Inazuma not being Mafia since he was silenced. Then again, Nero could be lying. Maybe he is Mafia and claimed Cop to secure his position in the Town. Again, very risky claim for a Maf. And then why did he report green on Inazuma? So far, it seems most likely to me that Nero is telling the truth, and Inazuma may be Third Party. Of course there are always other mechanics that could mess with things, like Insanity or Bus Driver... but let's not assume unnecessarily. In conclusion, I would be more comfortable lynching Inazuma to check Nero's story than the other way around. But a lot more happened yesterday, that I want to take a closer look at. Be back in a moment with more. |

So I won't have time to give a big post until later today. In a hurry getting ready for work. I would like if you held off on ending the day before I can post. Mainly just dropping in to say unless some "day powers" take me out of action I will read up and give my opinion on everything later. |

And now for the main course. The saga of Gan "Slip and" Fall... Spoiler: click to toggle There are three categories here: Those who (almost) immediately voted for Gan Fall after seeing his slip; Those who were around when it happened, but didn't vote him; Those who never voted at all (Brulee, Dorry, Elizabello II, Funkfreed, Gan Fall, Keimi, Porsche) (the 2nd and 3d category have some overlap) Assuming there are 5 Mafia members, we are looking for 4 suspects here. In case of a scumslip, the other Mafias have 3 options: a) bus their buddy; b) try to help their buddy in some way (avoid a lynch, give them credit...); c) ignore what's happening (not react or derail the discussion). The people who catch my attention most after all this are Brûlée and Aphelandra. They both fall into category B; they don't immediately vote Gan Fall. Aph says the slip is not convincing enough, Brûlée warns for the possibility of a Fool. Aph does vote for Gan Fall after a little while, Brûlée never does. It's very probable that at least one scumbuddy jumped on GF's wagon to bus him, so from the purple category. We know now Boa is Town. Toto was the first to point out the mistake and was very arduous. It's still possible that he is GF's scumbuddy and immediately decided to bus him. Other than that there are Johnny, Laki, Merry, and much later on Richie. J, L and M could very well fit into the "easy bus" category as a reaction to GF's slip. Then there are the absentees. I guess I fall into that category, but I can't explain myself more than I already did. Dorry, Elizabello and Keimi catch my attention here. It's very possible that one of them is Mafia and they didn't want to chip in on their buddy's vote, perhaps hoping the lynch wouldn't succeed. But so far the people who catch my suspicion most after this entire story, are Charlotte Brûlée and Aphelandra. I will look into the whole Inazuma/Nero story later, but now I have to go for a few hours. |

I AM WEASEL

@Funkfreed- you sir are on thin ice. You have no way of knowing 100% I am telling the truth...even if I am. Inazuma, I find it really hard to take anything you say seriously and for the town, this is pretty easy. If you lynch me, my claim will be vindicated and Inazuma will be a dead man/woman walking. Id prefer if you lynched Ina first, but if I have to go, I am prepared and I would benefit the town from dying. My report last night was that Johnny is an upstanding townie, no malicious intent from the man, jokes not withstanding. Now lynch Inazuma or me, it's not that hard...but the green bastard has to go! |

If I had voted to lynch Gan Fall, would I have lessened suspicion around myself? I'm not really sure that I would have. It was extremely evident that he was well on his way to being lynched anyways. As I had said the previous day, I missed out on a large portion of the discourse due to being busy irl. Thus, I did not want to make another rash decision by lynching Gan Fall with only some of the information available to me. |

Is there a mafia role that detects players' alignments? |

Some kinds of Role Cops according to the wiki. On my phone now, longer posts will come again later. |

All I wanna be is the one who gets to see a giant woman

I thought Rolecops determined the role, not the alignment? Or is it both? |

Normally yes, they only get the role, but there are variants that get both - as said, according to MafiaWiki. |

And the amount I can take you seriously dropped to near absolute zero the moment you claimed an important role to town on the second day of the game, when there are potentially going to be 8+ days in this setup. And I feel like I've been repeating myself with that statement, and yet you still don't get it. Your claim would screw the town over if it were true. And really? That's the report you couldn't just tell us from the start? Did it take you all night to come up with it? I don't think it incriminates Johnny since your reports are probably just narratively random. -------------------------- I badly need some new people to weigh in on this, because I'm tired of just discussing it with the scummy player. What do you think of his insistence that he is helping town? I can't be the only one thinking this is such an insane statement. |
