It was raining. The rain fell lightly from the sky, watering the ground and breathing life into a strange world. The Dy that walked within the rain was out of place, but not everything in Tsaiv was meant to be there. He however was meant to be here, a job to be done, a risk to be taken. Rahm, please take these supplies and hunt the dragon that has been terrorizing the peaceful cities of Tsaiv... The letter had read. Rahm was no stranger to adventure, he preferred paying jobs and would gladly risk his own hide for a gain if it meant he could eat for another day and survive. Born in the peaceful land of Nere, but with a heart that belonged in Vryllnithia. Rahm knew of the dragons that the letter spoke of, iridescent scales that shifted colors with the action of devouring others. These dragons would eat others, and be able to change their colors at will to mimic what they had eaten. A terrifying fate to know something would eat you just to hide itself... or to look like you.

Rahm was not alone though, he had allies to aid him. Going against one of these great dragons was suicide if you did it alone. He wasn't in the business for dying, especially for reckless behavior. There was a tavern ahead, his destination, where he would wait for his companions. He wasn't sure who they were but he had been assured the best team possible had been assembled to complete this mission. He snorted, he would have rather picked his own team, more inclined to reach out to those of Nirvaasit for safety and assurance. They were Dy he knew and trusted, not some strangers who happened to answer a call. Clearing his mind he needed to be open to it, but he felt the nagging pressure of past history creep around the corners of his mind... He had been betrayed once before. Not again.

Rahm entered the tavern and found a place to rest, watching all who entered and keeping an eye out for his new companions who were just as stupid as he was for taking the risk of a fighting a dragon that was three times as big as a Dy, and would eat them for the pure aesthetic of it.

Kel padded through the rain, taking a small comfort in its familiar smell. He was a well-traveled Dy'kletiun for his fairly young age due to his conflicts with his father, but this area of Tsaiv was unfamiliar to him. Locals generally tell him to stay away from this area. Apparently it was dangerous, and Kel usually stayed away because we traveled to get away from problems - not to walk headfirst into them.
So why are you doing so now? he thought to himself as he continued on.
Because he felt it. A feeling in his chest and a quieting of his mind that usually led the black and white Dy'kletiun to hunt down some hapless creature and spend hours satisfying his sick fascination of what lies beneath the skin. It was a feeling that made him bold in what he did, a true hunter in every right that so contrasted with the civil individual that Kel normally was. It was a side of Kel that was more suited to his brother, Loexvi - but where Loexvi was fueled by mischievousness that led his violences to have a more manic taste, Kel's was more quiet. It manifested itself in the set of his shoulders as he walked and the strange emptiness in his eyes that caused others to give him sideways glances full of concern as they hurried on to pass him. Kel had been in this mood for days, having not been able to find something suitable to take out his quiet frustrations.
And so when a message arrived on his doorstep proposing a possibly dangerous adventure, he left for Tsaiverstian. It had said to meet at a tavern, and Kel spotted the warm glow of its windows as he came to the edge of the forest. He paused, hesitant. What if someone from Nere was in there and recognized him? He kept up a good reputation in Neureaxis, because in the long run it was easier for day-to-day life if he stayed under the radar. He didn't entirely trust his current state of mind to stay civil.
Kel stood there in the rain for a few minutes before sighing and continuing on his way to the tavern. He was just being paranoid. He soon came upon the entrance and quietly pushed his way inside. It was small and cozy, with candles giving a soft, warm light. He paused in the door to let his eyes adjust. There weren't many here he noted with a small sense of relief. There was a smattering of humans and other creatures, with only two Dy'kletiun. The innkeeper, and a Dy'kletiun in shades of grey with softly glowing spots. He walked over to him, fairly sure this was one of the others he was supposed to meet.
"Did you get a letter telling you to come here?" he said softly.

A day prior to the event, Ryou was strolling around a city of Vryll when a random passing Dykletiun handed him a letter. The client mentioned in the letter had requested elimination of a certain dragon in Tsaiv, who'd been terrorizing one of the cities. It included notes about the dragon's location, the maximum number of the party's participants, the specifics of the dragon in question and, most importantly, the place of meeting. The prize was quite eye-catching aswell. After a brief moment of thinking, Ryou turned around and slowly made his way back to his hollow. He'd requested Z _ _ _ _ _ ' permission to accept the task, his reasons being the acquirement of additional funds for the hollow and more field experience. Z _ _ _ _ _ asked: "But, while you are gone, who will take care of the potential... requests?" Ryou, determined to participate in the quest, replied: "You still have Eva by your side. I believe she's proven herself quite capable of carrying things out." The hollow leader felt a tad proud of his underling, looking at his, for once, determined eyes. "Fine then. Suit yourself. But if things go south, do not expect our help and, if you are to fail the quest, don't bother returning." Ryou growled at him, getting offended by the fact that he was not up to the challenge in his boss' eyes and soon after left.
The Vipera, getting to Tsaiv, felt a surge of energy within. The colorful world was a nice change, even when bathed in rain, when compared to the dark and war-broken world of Vryll. He did not waste his time enjoying the scenery though, as much as he'd loved to. At the speed of wind he flew over to his destination, barely breaking a drop of sweat while occasionally dropping his view on the, for him, weirdly-colored clouds beneath. Ryou knew nothing about who or what his companions were, but he was not scared of meeting them; he was, in fact, looking forward to it. Upon seeing the tavern his heart raced with excitement; a feeling he did not often experience. The warmth seeping through the closed windows reminded him of when things were all fine and dandy; the times of his childhood. As he opened the tavern's door his eyes found but 3 Dy'kletiun, one of which was the innkeeper, another a grey, softly glowing Dy, and a black and white Dy, who seemed to have just started a conversation. Ryou slowly approached the two, keeping his distance from them to try and get intel about their personalities.
