The scene opens in the parking garage. Roi Rene Dupree is still in his royal robes and holding the French flag. He is on his cell phone with his back to the camera. Yes, we know, where is our limo? ... An hour? We told you we wanted to be back at our hotel for 6, not leaving the arena then. ... Yes, we know that you are very sorry. Do not worry too much about it. We may be royalty, but we still have class and honour, something our opponent for Smackdown, Homicide, does not have. ... Oh, so you will be watching Smackdown? ... Good for you. You will be able to see us rip him to pieces, figuratively and literally. ... Yes, literally. This Homicide is a tough fellow, we have seen what he has been able to accomplish, even if his track record in the EBWF has a lot more work ahead of it. ... Homicide is tough for a variety of reasons. Sure, wrestling is wrestling, but adding in weapons increases the danger, as well as the pain level. Sure, he may not know the difference between a armbar and hammerlock, he knows how to use a weapon, or better, many weapons. Now, it does not take much skill to do that, it takes more skill to take the pain of them. We have seen Homicide in some very bloody battles. He knows how to come back from a chair shot, cane shot, even being put through multiple tables. ... Of course this Thursday will be tough, no doubt. But we are up to the challenge. We need to show him, and the entire non-believing world that Roi Rene Dupree is not a fluke. ... Saying non-believing world makes us sound like we are religiously endowed? ... Well, we are. We are roi of France. Do you not know about royalty? While the Pope has become the centre, rois are given a divine right, a right we plan on keeping. ... Yes, it is very important to have religion, especially when you are near the top of the hierarchy. ... Well, we may be human, but we are granted divinity. We may not be all divine and all human at the same time as Jesus was, but we are partly divine. ... Yes, with this crown, and this robe come the responsibility to serve our people, both politically and religiously. ... This relates nothing to Homicide, why do we even need to bring him up? But, if you want to know, it does relate to Homicide. ... He is just a regular man, we are a roi. He lives a regular life, we live the high life. He is only human, we are partially divine. It takes more than a normal man to beat us. Something Homicide will not be able to do. He lives his life in sin and it would not be appropriate for him to be winning this title. ... Yes, God is on our side. He may have created every human, and He may love everyone unconditionally, but we know that He is hoping for Roi Rene Dupree to retain the Hardcore Championship against Homicide. ... Do you not know anything about religion? No, God will not make Homicide trip up in the middle of the match to give us the advantage. He gave us free will, which means it will be between us and Homicide, no one else. He will be a fan, just like everyone else, but instead of being like these people in Waco who cheer that foul-mouthed pig, He will be cheering, just as the French are, for Roi Rene Dupree. ... More delays? ... Alright, we will be waiting here in an hour and a half. Rene Dupree takes his cell phone off his ear and flips it closed. He paces around as he waits and sees the cameraman. He gets angry. He walks up to the cameraman. You can hear Rene speaking, but can only see the parking garage and bit of red from the French flag Rene is holding. How long have you been here? Forget it, it does not matter. Have you ever heard of privacy? Heard...that just reminds us. Rene Dupree gets back onto camera and looks directly into it. Homicide, we know you heard that. And in case you did not, we have some extra time, so we are walking to your locker-room and telling you straight to your face. Follow me M. Cameraman. The cameraman follows Rene Dupree as he walks out of the parking garage back into the arena. As the gentleman he is, Rene holds the door open for the cameraman, as he is holding a big camera. They continue walking, passing the catered food table, the Smackdown card, which says Homicide vs Roi Rene Dupree as the main event, the locker-rooms of various wrestlers, Wes Ikeda’s office, and more locker-rooms. Finally, Roi Rene Dupree stops. The camera zooms in on the name plate, “DBC”. This is it. Rene Dupree opens the locker-room door, but from the angle the camera is at, who is in the locker-room cannot be seen. Rene however, sees who is in the room quite clear and smirks. The man in the room yells at him to get out, which Rene replies by just standing there. Rene Dupree is not officially in the DBC locker-room, so he has yet to provoke the person in the room. Rene has his left hand on the door (Yes, the door hinges are on the left), near the hinges so only his hand is on the edge of the room, but nothing else. Rene Dupree begins to speak. So, we finally find you. Do not even try to attack us. You know the rules, no backstage fights unless the wrestler steps into your locker-room without your permission. Well, we are not in your locker-room, so do not try anything. First of all, Smackdown is a big night for us. We have our Hardcore Championship match. Just so you know, we are ready. We will not go easy. The Hardcore Championship deserves class, which we have brought and will continue to bring. However, on Smackdown, we will have to change our strategy. You have heard the saying, “Fight fire with fire.” Obviously, “Fight fire with a fire extinguisher” would be better, because if the fire department listened to the saying, they would not get very far. Anyway, we have always fought “Fight fire with a fire extinguisher” we guess you can say. When we were in the hardcore triple threat where we won the belt, we were not hardcore to the n-th degree. Just a bit at the end to finish the job. Hey, you cannot fight a fire if there is no fire. Well, on Smackdown, like we said, we do have to change our strategy. We will actually have to “Fight fire with fire,” no matter how impossible that may sound. This match will be hellacious, and our regular tactics will work, but only to a certain extent. We will have to get hardcore for this match. So do not be surprised to see weapons we would regularly not use. Sure, the French flag will come into play, it is our favourite weapon. If we need a few chairs, we will use them. If we want to break a few tables with another body, we will. Hey, hey, do not come any closer, because we will make sure you are not able to show up on Smackdown because of a suspension. Maybe a barbed wire 2 x 4. That would be dangerous, and violent and bloody, sounds like a good idea. Maybe we will even take a page out of one of the greatest hardcore wrestlers, Raven, and come to the ring with a shopping cart full of weapons, like an arrêt sign. You know which one, the red octagon shaped one. Rene puts his left foot to the door to stop it from closing and drops his left hand. He takes his French flag and puts it into the door crack where the hinges are to keep the door from closing. You see this Hardcore Championship, it means a lot to us. We even carry it on our shoulder over our robe. We could be like some other wrestlers and put it around our waists, but we do not want it covered. We are not going to relinquish this belt on Smackdown, no matter what punishment we receive. We already stated we could let out more blood than a recently devirginized female and still not fall. Come Smackdown, you will be able to see it first hand. No, we are not a robot, but that does not mean we will not end up looking like we are. Now we have a feeling we will be splashed with water with the hopes that we break down. Well that is not going to happen. We will still function, we are human, we actually do need water for life. Even with all this talk of using weapons, the biggest weapon of them all is ourself. Sure, it may be a bit cliché, but it is true, as we made evident in the hardcore triple threat. We did only use the French flag at the end, so come Smackdown, while we may use more weapons than regularly, we still will fight with our hands and feet. Roi Rene Dupree is a skilled wrestler, and using only weapons would put us at a disadvantage, as we are not very good using solely weapons. So we will hit a few suplexes, some DDTs and the like. And even though we may have failed to mention it when we went to the ring before, we will, yes WILL hit the Suplex D’Exploder, get the three count and then the final ten count. And while the Suplex D’Exploder is painful, it will be even more painful when it is directed accurately onto a steel chair, as Stephane Borden can attest to, or through a table, or maybe even directly onto this Hardcore Championship Belt. This belt which we plan and WILL retain. When Smackdown is over, and we board a plane back to France for our independence day, we will still be carrying this Hardcore Championship with us, not because we stole it, but because we won the match and retained it. We promised to return to France with the belt, and stealing it is a classless act we would not partake in, so there is only one other way for us to keep it. When the ref counts to three, then counts to ten and rings the bell, we will be declared the winner and be able to return to France with our promise kept. A blood spattered ring, wood chips everywhere, steel chairs bent out of shape, while it may show the havoc that was wreaked in the ring, it will not show who emerged victorious. However, watching us walking up the ramp, whether bleeding or not, holding this Hardcore Championship in our hands will show to everyone who was the victor. In every war, there are winners and there are losers, yet the winners cannot always be determined, no matter how clear the result. Britain was on the winning side of World War II, despite all the damage done to its navy, its troops, and even its cities. And even more, Britain lost its status as one of the most superior countries in the world. Our match however will have a clear winner and loser. It will be a war, that is something we can guarantee, but we will be victorious. Unlike past wars, the benefits of victory will greatly outweigh the negatives of victory. Hearing the bell ring and our name announced as winner brings a joyous feeling. Walking in an airport with people admiring you for the punishment you dished out as well as the punishment your body withstood. And of course, the look of all your loyal subjects when you get off a plane, with the EBWF Hardcore Championship draped over your shoulder, knowing that this match was not just won for Rene Dupree, but for the entire royaume (kingdom) of France. These are feelings we WILL feel after the cameras stop rolling and Smackdown is off the air for another week. No one will be able to stop this from happening. This is not “destiny.” Anything actually could happen and we could lose, yet destiny would mean it is pre-determined. This is a guarantee by Roi Rene Dupree. We have worked extremely hard to get this far, and there will be no room for failure on our part. As a little bit of trivia, when there is no room for failure, we do not fail. In case you are wondering, do not (Mockingly) eff what you heard (Speaking normally), since you better believe this because it IS the truth. If you do not believe us, wait until Smackdown when we will prove it to you. Le Roi has spoken. Rene just smirks once again at the man at the room. He is yelled at to get out, but the voice still cannot be determined. Rene moves out of the way of the doorway blocking most of the camera. It can be heard and slightly seen from where Rene is not blocking that the French flag is being moved, yet not by Rene. The French flag is thrown to the floor in front of Rene, so the camera sees the top of the flag hit the floor, but not who threw it, as Rene blocked him. Rene bends down to pick up his flag and as the cameraman moves to see who was in the DBC locker-room, the door closes and only the end of a black shirt can be seen. The cameraman looks at Rene and speaks. Roi Rene, who was in there? It does not matter. We got our message across to a person who needed to hear it. We are going back to the parking garage to wait for our limo. Roi Rene Dupree walks past the cameraman as he goes back to the parking garage. OOC--> I purposely wrote it like this so that you can’t tell if Rene is talking directly to Homicide or leaving this as a message to Alex Shelley or even a friend of one of them who he knew would tell them about what occurred. I couldn’t put who I was talking to or else I would’ve broken one of the EBWF’s rules, something I don’t want to do. Another thing, my favourite part of the site is when I had the match of the week against Scott Hall and Ashlee (I think she does the site, I’m sorry I’m not totally sure) put Roi Rene Dupree. Thumbs up for that little touch, even though my roster name is just Rene Dupree, he is definitely a Roi. That made me smile. Thanks Ashlee (or whoever put that). |
