The scene opens with camera zoomed in tight on Michael Cole, who is seated in the EBWF studios. Cole takes a moment to look over the notes in front of him and then begins to speak into the camera. Michael Cole: “Good even ladies and gentlemen, I’m Michael Cole, and I am here tonight to introduce you all to the newest member of EBWF roster, ‘The American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson.” The camera zooms out to show Bryan Danielson seated in a chair beside Cole. Danielson is wearing jeans and an American Dragon Dojo t-shirt. Cole extends his hand and Danielson respectfully shakes it. Michael Cole: “Welcome to the big leagues, Bryan, I know you have waited a long time to get here.” Bryan Danielson: “Thanks Michael, it’s good to be here.” Michael Cole: “For the benefit of our viewers at home who may have never had the opportunity to see you compete before, could you tell us a little bit about your background and your journey here to the EBWF?” The camera zooms in on Danielson who shakes his head in a yes fashion, takes a big sip of water and begins to speak. Bryan Danielson: “I was born and raised in Aberdeen, Washington. I grew up a huge wrestling fan and there was never any doubt in my mind that I wanted to be a part of this sport. So after I graduated High School, I packed my bags and moved to San Antonio, Texas, to train at the Shawn Michael’s Wrestling Academy. Although Shawn was the namesake of the school and very much had a hand in my training, it was really Rudy Boy Gonzales who contributed the most to my early development. Rudy Boy was Shawn’s hand picked trainer and where as Shawn might come in to the gym once, maybe twice a week, Rudy Boy was there day in and day out helping me learn the ropes. From there I spent about a year wrestling for Memphis Championship Wrestling, where William Regal really took me under his wing and taught me about the European Catch Style of pro wrestling. After MCW closed down, I decided to travel all across the country and eventually the world in effort to perfect my craft.” The camera pulls back again to once again show both men. Cole is reading over a sheet of paper as he speaks. Michael Cole: “According to my research you have won multiple major championships in four different countries and on three different continents, with so much success as a freelance wrestler, why come to the EBWF?” Bryan Danielson: “Honestly Michael it has always been about getting here. I wrestled all over the world against the very best, in order to become the very best. I am a big believer in the saying that steel sharpens steel, to be the competitor I wanted to be I had to wrestle against the top wrestlers in every conceivable style before I became what I am today. I have done everything else there is to do in this sport, except make an impact on the big stage. I came here to the EBWF to prove to all the critics and to show all the fans why I am what I say I am and that’s the best in the world.” Michael Cole: “No offense Bryan but that is quite a bold claim.” Bryan Danielson: “Maybe it is, I don’t know. All I know is that pound for pound there isn’t a better wrestler in the world than myself. That is not hype, it isn’t a gimmick or just some catch phrase, it is the standard by which I judge myself. Every night I got out there and I honestly don’t care if I am in front of 50 fans or 50,000 fans, I give every thing I got in an attempt not just to win the match but to steal the show. With a guy like me, it isn’t about flash and flare, pyro and elaborate entrances, it is about busting my ass from bell to bell. An to clarify something Michael when I say I am the best, I am not trying to sell you a bill of goods by saying that I am unbeatable. This is the most competitive sport in the world and realistically anybody can beat anybody on any given night. To me, being the best is about being humble enough to taking those loses, when they do come, and turn them into a learning experience, so that you never get caught by the same trick twice.” Michael Cole: “Fair enough, obviously everyone who walks into that locker room is gunning for the World Championship but what are some of your short term goals?” Bryan Danielson: “There is no doubt in my mind that I could step in the ring with Chris Jericho right now and give him a run for his money but trying to rush to the front of the line has never been my style. As far as I am concerned all my past accomplishment went out the window the minute I set foot here in the EBWF and I am starting from scratch and honestly I wouldn’t want it any other way. I want to test my self against everybody on this roster and I am happy to work my way up from the bottom. So to answer your question Michael, my major short term goal is to earn the respect of the wrestlers, management and even more importantly the fans. I don’t care if you like me, love me or hate me but I guarantee that after you have seen what I can do, you will have no choice but to respect me.” Michael Cole: “Bryan, I would like to thank you for your time and before we go do you any parting comments?” Bryan Danielson: “I just want to say that it is an honor to be here in the EBWF. I don’t think you will find a better collection of talent under one roof, anywhere in the wrestling world. I am really looking forward to making my in ring debut and starting this next chapter of my career. To all my fans who have supported me over the years, I want to sincerely thank you, without you guys I wouldn‘t be here.” Michael Cole: “I would like to thank you all for joining me as we welcome Bryan Danielson to the EBWF family. I’m Michael Cole, goodnight everyone.” The scene ends with the camera zooming out, with Cole and Danielson shaking hands as we fade to black. ------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: This wasn’t my best work, I always have problems when it comes to that first RP. I never really feel like I have a handle on the character until I have posted a couple and really get a rhythm going. With all that said, feedback positive or negative is always appreciated and thanks for reading. |

If this isn't your best work, I look forward to seeing more from you... It's a solid piece, a good introduction for your character. Welcome to the fed by the way :) Just wondering, what's with the (F) in your username? |

Thanks I appreciate the feedback and especially the welcome. I am still relatively new to the world of e-wrestling and the other two feds I was in required you to put either F, T or H at the end of your user name to say whether you where Face, Tweener of Heel. When I picked out my user name, I just did it without thinking. Probably need to change that though. |

You can change it, no problems :) It changes so frequently around here, that it'd be Cah-razy to have them in the names! Welcome, and thanks for being agreeable. Nice to have you! |

As Ben said, this was a good solid rp to introduce your character. It's hard to get something going until you've had a couple of rps posted so you did really well. Nice to have you around :) |
