The screen faded in from black to a close up of Beth Phoenix. Beth sat in her huge sofa curled up, watching the MTV VMA Awards and waiting to see her favourite singer, Lady Gaga. She sat with her butter flavoured popcorn and her huge glass of cola. She watched the huge plasma screen TV as she heard the two men standing on the stage announce Lady Gaga. Beth gave a huge smile as she heard that name. Lady Gaga played two lines of Pokerface before going into a new version of Paparazzi. After watching over three minutes of Lady Gaga perform, Lady Gaga got to the stage after playing on her huge white piano and blood started spilling down her body as she still sang through the chorus. She rubbed her hands over her crimson stomach and then was hanged by the hand by her dancers and then raised ten or so feet in the air. The performance finished as the red curtains came down and the break came on. Beth had her eyes glued to the TV before coming back and stretching and yawning at the same time: Beth: Wow that was great. She never seems to fail. Beth took the huge bowl of popcorn off her lap and sat it on the side coffee table. She went into her kitchen and heard her phone vibrate off of the worktop. She ran over and checked it. She had got an email through from EBWF to tell her that she had a match against Layla and Daizee Haze. Beth laughed as she looked at the names and then continued to read. Once she had finished scanning the email she had got she put the phone back down and rested her elbow down on the worktop and leaned against it: Beth: My god, Layla and Daizee Haze. Layla, the 5’2 oompa-lompa with an English accent thinks she can beat the Glamazon in the match. Daizee Haze, she really isn’t that much of a threat. I mean does she not always get beat. I mean it must be familiar for her, lying on her back. Beth started laughing and then walked into the living room once again and flicked the TV over to practically every channel she had before switching the huge Samsung plasma screen TV and throwing the remote control to one side of the cream leather couch. She thought about the times she had in WWE with Layla. She liked Layla in WWE but now she wasn’t here to make friends with her once more, she was here to end her and that hippy’s career. She certainly didn’t want to make any alliances and she knew she would destroy every damn diva in EBWF. She knew some faces from WWE and she also heard of some divas that where very talented in the ring, but not good enough to beat Beth Phoenix. Beth soon after turned all the lights off in her apartment and headed upstairs where she went to bed in her huge king-size bed as she felt like she needed an early night from tomorrow where she would fly to East Lansing in Michigan and would then have to travel to the Breslin Center to have her match. She got changed into her pyjamas and pulled out her suitcase eagerly and threw clothes and wrestling outfits in quickly and headed into her bed where she gazed out her bedroom window and looked at the stars before falling asleep under them. ---18 Hours Later --- Beth walked into the back door of the arena where the shutters had been pulled up and walked along the grey painted walls of the corridors and looked at all the doors sharply to check for her name up on it. She finally found it after looking through five or six doors. She headed into the small locker-room wearing a black tracksuit and immediately took it off and threw it to one side and put on her black one-piece outfit she had been seen in WWE many times with. She looked in the mirror many times twirling around before giving a smirk into the mirror with lights around it: Beth: Still fits. She then pulled pink straightners out of her gym like bag and plugged them into the nearest wall socket she found in the room. She quickly straightened her hair carefully without trying to burn herself in the process. She then unplugged them and wrapped them up and threw them back into her bag before placing the crown like head-piece on her head and walking out the changing room area. As she walked down the hallway, Beth started fidgeting with her hands and cracking her fingers into place ready for her match tonight. She was suddenly stopped by Lillian Garcia who was wearing a black sparkling dress and held the microphone to her own mouth: Lillian: I’m Lillian Garcia, backstage with the newest EBWF diva, Beth Phoenix. Beth looked confused at how quickly Lillian had appeared from nowhere and then proceeded to grab the microphone from her which took the smile straight off of her face: Beth: Well Lillian funny you should ask and you are one hundred percent right I will defeat Layla and Daizee Haze tonight. Lillian looked down at the floor and looked back at Beth trying to take the microphone off her but to no avail as Beth turned her shoulder to try and get her arm away: Lillian: I didn’t even say that. Beth immediately cut Lillian off and looked her up and down before continuing to speak. Lillian looked gobsmacked in the process off this: Beth: Whatever Lillian just hold the microphone and looked pretty. She shoved the microphone right into Lillian’s chest and made a grunting noise as it hit her and nearly knocked her off of her feet: Beth: I’m going to make this short and sweet for you Lillian, tonight you will see a new generation of diva step into the ring and as I single handedly destroy Layla and Daizee without even breaking a sweat. Goodbye Lillian. As Beth walked off and down the corridor Lillian looked on and moved her head to watch Beth walk down to the pitch black walkway: Lillian: Hey, I wasn’t even finished my interview. Lillian sighed and put both her hands up to her blonde locks and shook her head rapidly looking up at the ceiling: Lillian: Whatever I don’t know why I deal with this. Lillian walked off of the camera view and around the other way where she glided down the corridor before the screen finally faded out to black. (OOC: So sorry its that short, I have hardly any time left to try and post an RP and try and figure out something to write about) |
