Backstory: Sirin was born in Kvatch in Midyear 3E 409, to a Nord sea Captain and an Altmer mage, the youngest of three brothers. He suffered from a disease in early childhood that left him feeble and weak, and would often travel with his mother to the Imperial City for treatment. Due in part to this disease, he was doted on by his father, much to the chagrin of his brothers, who remember their father as cold and distant, and coddled by his mother. Sirin’s older brothers, Mordred and Caius, were born in 3E 390 and 3E 396 to a Nord woman in Skyrim, and were former combatants in the Kvatch arena, where Sirin worked in the Bloodworks in his early teenage years. From the age of nine, he worked alongside his mother in her apothecary in Kvatch, and would go hunting with his father. Not long after turning seventeen, he began training at the Chapel of Akatosh, becoming an accomplished healer and preparing the dead for burial. He was forever fascinated with death and anatomy, and studied it closely, documenting all his findings in multiple journals that are safely stored away. Aged twenty, and after much careful planning, he performed his first kill while visiting his skooma addicted brother Caius in Bravil- another addict- to study the effects of addiction on his body. From there, he continued documenting all kinds of disease and addiction and defects, though he hadn’t personally killed all his subjects, and not all were dead when he began his experiments. During his spree, he had been contacted by the Dark Brotherhood, but had politely declined. In 3E 430 he bought Benirus Manor from Velwyn, and, finding it to be infested with ghosts, hunted him down and brutally stabbed him to death in the Imperial City. Upon returning to Anvil and clearing out his new home, he gladly accepted his invitation to the family, while working part time in the Chapel of Dibella undercroft. He quickly climbed the ranks and was elected Silencer by the new Speaker the same year he lost his mother, who was gravely wounded during the destruction of Kvatch. Personality: Sirin is calm, quiet and hugely perceptive- aware of all that goes on around him. He performs his duties with medical precision and is an asset to the Anvil chapter in that he can easily forge examination results from the undercroft. He has a morbid fascination with death and decay, and is a talented artist and musician, known to pose as a bard on contracts. He is skilled with a bow and adept at magic in the schools of destruction and restoration, with experience as a healer and herbalist, and extensively taught in alchemy by his mother. Due to his illness in childhood, Sirin suffers Ataxia, which depletes his agility and dexterity, sometimes affecting his ability to pick locks and sneak around. At night, while bored, he has been known to stalk around the cities, picking off entire rotas of guards with his bow. Otherwise, he can be found in his basement, working on his latest specimen. Appearance: Sirin is taller than an average Nord but smaller than an average Altmer, with a pallid golden complexion, pale blue-grey eyes and fair hair. He walks with long, stiff strides and is slim with slight muscle tone. His face is thin, his right ear has two golden hoop earrings and the left a single beaded earring. He has a patch of sparse, fair hair on his chin and wears lower middle-class clothing, or his Silencer armour, as he is often in the sanctuary.
