Statement Form

Date: 4/13/17

Recording Officer: Daimon O'Quinn

Statement taken from: Suzi Recreant

Statement:
[14:57:12] Suzi Recreant sat and she nodded.shrugged and adjusted herself. The leather of her duty belt creaked as the numerous additions and holders made seating comfortably impossible. "Well... if you are referring to the incident itself, it started with me working on my wedding. I had left the house to go check on the final choice for the reception, as well as start looking to hire a DJ." she started. "A few days before, I had been on foot patrol, and started poking around by the coffee shop and that end of town in Elk Point proper. While I was doing that, I ran into this couple, where were just talking. So I asked if i could look around, and did some of that CCAP stuff, and tried to be friendly, get to know them and so on. The male gave me the name of Lemon,a nd the woman told me her name was Emily. So we chatted, and I moved on, thinking nothing of it, really. Then, the day of the incident, I ran into this Emily, and Lemon again, and since I was off-duty and working on wedding stuff, I was asked to join them for a drink, and to share ideas with Emily. I was looking forward to that, as my fiance has been less than helpful about getting the wedding organized."

We ordered drinks,a nd I got the merlot I asked for. it tasted like it was about to turn, but since we're a long way from Napa, I kinda' started to expect that. The next thing I know, I am laying on a bed in the ER, and my face is beat the shit, and I am cut on the shoudler, and my arms hurt like hell." She gave a rueful grin. "And I am naked as the day I was born."

Signed: Officer Suzi Recreant

Questioning by Captain Daimon O'Quinn:

Daimon: "It would also be good to know how you connected 'Emily' to Chloe and what led up tot he arrest if that's not already clear in your recording."

Suzi: "I'll make the notation, but so you know, Chloe was kind enough to state her name over the my phone when my finance called, since I was overdue. When i was able to get Emily to admit her real name to me, I ran my recored past my fiance, and he verified that the two Chloe's were the same person, so bingo, I had my kidnapper."

Daimon: "Why did Chloe call your Fiance? What did she say to him?"

Suzi: I don't know who called who. But my fiance said he was calling my phone trying to locate me, and she told him you and I were in conference, and could not be disturbed. That was total crap, he knew, as it was my day off.

Daimon: The thing about phones these days is they are really /really/ good at holding onto fingerprints... also if I can match up the times then I can put Chloe there with you at the scene and there will be no way to argue herself out of that one, whatever her lawyer says.

Suzi: Captain. I don't have my phone. I lost my purse, my wallet, my ID, my badge, everything except my pistol, and that's because i wasn't carrying it. The only reason they knew who it was when I was found was the responding officer knew me on sight. Otherwise I was a Jane Doe for however long it took me to wake up. As for the phone, you can have my house phone. I don't know if Kevin used his cell or not. But it should be fine to surrender it.

Daimon: Alright, I'm going to get started on this investigation, for now all of that should be enough for the statement, and I'm going to document this conversation and go through your recordings, get a warrant to search the club and Chloe's residence and see if I can't track down your missing items. I also want to figure out who her accomplice is. In the mean time, you rest, I'm going to have two officers on you always, so you can feel safe knowing you have back up until all of this is over and done with.

The victim last recalls being invited to The Liquid Lounge for drinks with a female named Emily, and a man named Lemon.
Both subjects are previously known to the victim through a previous meeting. Subject Emily identified as WFA, approximately 5-4, 110 lbs, long brown/auburn hair. Subject Emily self-identified as a scrap metal re-seller, though the victim does not consider that to be a truthful statement. Subject Emily last seen wearing blue jeans and ladies' t-shirt, possibly brown in color.
Subject identified as "Lemon" is a WMA, approximately 6-2, thin, with black, oily hair, and longer than EPPD standard, but does not reach his shoulder. Subject Lemon employed as a T.V. repairman, though the victim holds little credence with this statement. Subject Lemon last seen wearing a dark leather jacket, dark pants, and an unknown shirt. Subject Lemon also has facial piercings on lips and has a facial tattoo of a large letter "L" on his forehead/bridge of nose area.
The victim was invited to the Liquid Lounge for drinks and discussion of her upcoming wedding. NPC Bartender "Mike" provided her with her drink, a glass of merlot which had a "slightly off" taste that reminded the victim of a wine about to turn.
The victim next has very hazy and uncoordinated memories of being beaten, and interrogated, but does not recall the subject matter. She recalls phone calls, and the names "Cloh" and "Lemon" being mentioned numerous times, but not why. The victim also states she has no idea of her location, or where she had been, nor how she had been transported. The victim stated it was very dark, and she was being subjected to an investigated spotlight, described as one would see in the old spy-movie genre. She has no recollection of anything further, until she awakened at the EPMC.

***The victim states her purse is missing, and contents gone. Contents listed as cell phone, wallet with cash and ID cards (EPPD and DL), credit cards, keyring which included house key, station lobby key, and handcuff keys, and other personal effects. Also missing is EPPD station passkey. Cell phone contained contacts of EPPD employees, as well as other personal contacts. Victims personal protective equipment is accounted for. No weapons or firearms missing.***
