![]() ”Gaze into the abyss….into the perpetuity in which He dwells.” General Information Name: Brienne Le Fors Nicknames/Titles: Brie/Bree, Creepy girl Age: 32 Gender Female Race: Glace’omme de Nord Faith: Unknown Height: 5’8” Weight: 52 kg Occupation: Fortune Teller Residence: Wherever people accept her History and Advanced Info Appearance: Small-framed and slightly chubby, Brienne is a young lady of the North with pale skin, modest curves and long black hair that seems to have a subtle shade of indigo. Her general vibe is that of an outcast who spends most of her time in the shadows doing God knows what. She has upturned eyes shaded veronica which depending on her mood can appear as lovely bright or dark and soulless. Under them are dark bags that indicate a lack of adequate rest. They don’t seem to ever fade, so maybe she just...never sleeps? Despite appearing to be a pariah and loner that does not want to be bothered, Bree clearly dresses to impress. She wears an exquisite dark gold-laced unitard that reveals her black underwear clearly. She also wears an assortment of jewelry and accessories, all gold as well, and she is never without her large rucksack of books. Personality: On the outside, you might not even notice Brienne at all since she seems to have a distaste of socializing and attention (despite dressing to attract the eyes, good lord). Get close enough to have a conversation with her, however, and you might just regret even trying. She’s a real strange one who speaks as if she dreads doing so and has some unsettling habits. She comes across as a chaotic mix of perversion, obsession, introversion and depression. Despite all that, however, there’s a clear trait to her that one just can’t ignore: friendliness. Once you manage to talk to her, she will never speak anything out of line. A real soft-spoken lady if there ever was one. Bree’s friends are few, far between or non-existant, the only immediate and ‘real’ one being this probably imaginary friend she has named Forsen. She thinks of this...Forsen rather highly, likening him to a father figure, almost. As weird as it sounds, she looks to this mysterious figure as advice and yet won’t ever disclose anything about him other than ‘He’s a good and reliable man’. Combat/Magic Skills: As expected of someone with ties to the Heart Caste, Brienne is considerably well-versed in the art of Transmutation, arguably the best in her family discounting her father who was literally the Grand Foreman. She is also naturally inclined to...stranger schools of magic such as Blood Magic. Relationships: Damn loner, having no friends and shit. Indeed, Forsen is the only friend for her. History: Brienne was born into the House Le Fors, one of the most paramount Houses of Note in the Heart Caste. Erudite scholars and natural knowledge seekers, they were begrudgingly accepted to be among, if not the greatest combat transmuters in their fold. Her father, Maxime Le Fors, held the esteemed position of Grand Foreman, yet for all his power, he despised the political nature of his society and the rigid castes that bind them. Are they not the same people sharing the same fate in the end? With that kind of position, he made it his priority to bring ruin to this vile caste system, from the inside. Naturally, this didn’t earn him any favors from those who were fine and dandy with how things were. Maxime was Grand Foreman and at face value was respected for his influence and affluence, but for his reformist views, he earned quite a bit of enemies. Lowkey enemies, of course, that did not openly oppose him, but still discredited him when no one was looking. Back to our character. Like many noblewomen, Brienne had an extensively privileged and lavish upbringing. That, however, is where the similarities end between them, for she had the fortune to have a father that understood the importance of morals and ethics when dealing with fellow sensible mortals. Old man Maxime gave his dearest daughter a means to develop a potency with magic of her own, which paid off since she eventually would learn to almost surpass him. Life was good when her troubles could easily melt away, leaving her to be able to study in peace. But when did peace ever last long? When the shattering happened, Brienne’s father had been ‘unlucky’ enough to be caught in the disaster radius, obviously resulting in his untimely death. Then King Cain’s irrational call to war happened. While House Le Fors did not blatantly oppose this course of action, they refused to send their best sorcerers into the vanguard. This was to be seen as dissent, and it wasn’t long before the family began getting harassment and abuse from strange assailants, no doubt lapdogs of the King’s will. Brienne was the target of most of these, the King desiring such a skillful transmuter in their ranks. But she wanted none of that. Still caught up in the grief of losing her father, she fled home in the cover of night after enduring several instances of abuse and unwarranted harassment. It was a moment of weakness. Brie was nothing without her father and now he was gone. What was there left in this world for her? Now all alone, all she wanted to do, all she could do was curl up and wait for cold death to come...but instead, someone approached her. A man offering her warmth and comfort. A man named Forsen. Brienne did not think that this man was real, but accepted his hospitality nonetheless. Indeed, after she was cared for, this man revealed himself to the manifestation of a long dead person and had been observing Brie from the beyond for the longest time. He found interest in her magical prowess and wanted her to be his ally, to further his wishes of bringing peace to the world...by force. There was only one thing on Brienne’s mind when she shook his hand and accepted his offer, binding their wills together. She finally has a friend. |
