![]() ![]() -----General Information----- Name: Gaius Hanzo Age: 20 Gender: Male Race: Valerian Faith: He follows the Valerian Pantheon, conformed of Amaterasu, Susanoo, and Tsukuyomi. Height: 6'1" Weight: 165 lbs Occupation: Apprentice Mercenary Residence: He is new to Yuli, and so rents a room in the Monk's Cowl for the time being. -----History and Appearance----- Physical Description: Gaius is a very young Valerian man with some visible Silver Elven features, such as his ever so slightly pointed ears and lighter skin than some Valerians. He has long dark brown hair that he ties back with a red ribbon in a ponytail, while the front is left loose. He has a fairly muscled body for his young age, due to the vigorous training he underwent with his grandfather, as well as calloused hands from the firm grip he keeps on his kanabō. He has a single small scar on his right cheek, it's beginning to fade away. Gaius wears the armor of a Valerian samurai, as he learned the way of the bushi through his grandfather and master. On his face he wears a menpō, or mask, with the appearance of an Oni's mouth, that protects his face from the nose down. He wields a kanabō, a large spiked club, typically used by either Oni or in some cases samurai. Personality: Gaius is a very friendly person in general, always willing to make a new friend or ally. It is difficult to make him angry, but if one manages such a feat he will not hesitate to bash their face in with his kanabō. He can be considered mature for his young age, though one could expect that from a boy who had to watch his grandfather and master die the way that he did. Martial Abilities: Gaius has only recently started on his path to become a master bushi, but he is still capable of dealing heavy damage with his spiked kanabō. He also uses some basic illusions to weaken his foes to a minor extent. History: There are a few things that Gaius will gladly tell anyone about his past, such as the fact that he and his grandfather, Tiberius, left their clan when Gaius was still very young to pursue the life of bushido rather than a shinobi. Gaius was trained well by Tiberius, but unfortunately all good things must come to an end, and Tiberius was murdered by an old enemy from before he left. After that, Gaius ventured off to see the rest of Entheria, and eventually found himself in Yuli, where he remained for a short time before he met the brothers Shishio and Hattori, who revealed to him that he was the heir of Amaterasu. He ventured forth with the brothers to recover the Hanzo Precursor Tablet, and with the power of the eyes of the three heirs, read it completely. They were successful, and through the memories Gaius gained from that, he was suddenly aware of many things he was not aware of before. After returning home to Yuli only to see that Ken-Gui's army had attacked it, Gaius aided in the reconstruction. With the other two heirs gone their separate ways, Gaius lived most of his life peacefully in Yuli. He met a Silver Elf woman and they grew close, eventually being wed and with a son. Gaius watched his son grow into a man, at which point he passed his Oni menpō to him, telling him the story of how he met the Oni chieftain and freed her mind from Makoto Hanzo's control. He told his son that the mask represented the strength and honor of the Oni people, and to always bear that in mind when using it. Once his son, Secundus, set off to live his own life, Gaius and his wife moved to Tiberius' old home in the woods, where he would stay for the rest of his life. Secundus eventually married as well, and had a daughter, whom he named Lucretia. Once Lucretia was old enough, Gaius told her the same story of the Oni chieftain and taught her the concept of honor, with the hope that she would become even greater than Gaius or Secundus ever could be. Secundus, who had never been as fierce of a fighter as Gaius, gave the menpō to Lucretia, bid farewell to Gaius, and left. Gaius, knowing that he would forever live on within Lucretia's heart, simply let himself go that night, and passed peacefully in his sleep with his wife besides him, looking young and beautiful as ever. So ends the tale of Gaius Hanzo, the Young Ronin, and begins the tale of Lucretia Hanzo. Edited by Fights, Aug 1 2016, 02:40 AM.
