https://www.cnn.com/2018/04/20/asia/north-korea-closes-nuclear-site/index.html North Korea is no longer going to test nuclear weapons and will instead commit to improving their economy and relations with other countries. ![]() What are your thoughts on this? Do you think Trump deserves the credit for this development? Personally, I think it's a good thing. As far as Trump is concerned, regardless of how involved he was in this and how much he actually did to help it come about, it is going to be his lasting legacy. It will be remembered like Nixon's visit to China, Carter's Camp David Accords, and Osama bin Laden being found and killed during Obama's presidency. |

hell, Moon Jae-in deserves all the credit Trump and the previous SK Pres (Park Geun-hye) have been total hawks on NK hence Trump's "Little Rocket Man" tweet But Moon Jae-in has a much more liberal, diplomatic approach and is the one who has been actually negotiating with Kim Trump "gave his blessing" for the talks, although that was largely unnecessary lmaooo |

Now we just have to see how the treatment of North Koreans will change and if it does, how will they react to the fact that they've been lied to their entire existance |

Honestly can't see the Kim regime treating normal North Koreans much better. NK being included more in the international scene and receiving more aid might help the regular people not starve anymore, but the Kims are going to keep their personality cult going. |
