And I don't see how Katharine winning this is a bad thing. Would be a fitting ending, to be honest. |

I'm gonna indulge the speech so far later, I only got a chance to read Jared and Paul before heading out. Questions for now: Firstly, a question for the three of you. Where on an alignment chart like this would you place yourself and why? https://i.redd.it/qmcybi1y1q801.jpg Secondly, I doubt I'd vote for you. I think you can't own up to as much as the other players can. After the tiebreaker win which I think was Jared's idea, you flushed your idol, then got saved by me flipping. Then everyone hated Chumlee at the final 6 and then admittedly, Paul flipped back to you at 5, but you got taken to the finals only because Martin was a thing. How do you defend this? |

I'm not really good at this at all, but sure, I'll give it a go. Courtney: During your run on Drag Race, you were described as being hard to relate to on a personal level. At least you haven't gone off brand. Jenn: You must really be a fan of Ghost Island, cuz you really ghosted your way off this island. Chum: You know that Chum Li picture you found was really fitting, because we K.O.'d you out of here. PG: PG Law? More like PG Awful Martin: We both talked a lot about badly written fantasy stories, but I think the worst fantasy was the one where you won this game. Matt: BROseidon is in the middle of everything again and a threat. How new and original. Nothing we've seen before.
I know why you did. I just wish you hadn't. The idol wasn't on the pages that you told me to search, it was on later pages But yeah you definitely shouldn't have done that or the idol might have been yours. In pre-merge you were just as important to me as Paul was. You were a fantastic friend and one of the easiest people to talk to. You were probably the one person that I was the closest to myself when talking to. It was just easy to be upfront and honest with you. You were always the first person that I PMed or responded to when I logged in. It wasn't just about maintaining our relationship and alliance, but friendship. You and Paul balanced each other out in a lot of ways even though you both had reasons for not getting along. I actually think I talked to you much in the way I would about game with the real Matt. Your character choice shaped things a little bit.
Sorry, serious isn't usually my default. Paul sweeping would be. Cuz there were a lot of people I don't think he really gave the effort towards that he should have, and if he were to win in spite of that over me and Jared who did do that sort of thing, I'm not sure what that really says about the kinds of games we value here. He wouldn't be a bad winner, but not exactly one you'd want people to be emulating.
1) Lawful Neutral. I think I was consistent in what I did, and it was choices to keep me in the game and not on the outs. 2) I can understand that. I didn't play the same sort of game they did. I played a game of relationships and people. I was close to people so that even if my name was discussed, I wouldn't be who went home. I made a lot of connections and I used those to get myself here. I think that there's just as much to be said for someone who can get people to keep them around even when it's not the best choice for them. That even when there's shifts in power, you're not the person who ends up on the very bottom of the barrel. And I wasn't ever that guy. I was always near the top and had the connections to find out things in some way. And I heard a lot from a lot of people all game. Even flushing my idol didn't screw me much like it would have other people. The target moved elsewhere. |
