Hand for thoughts

Okay, had an interesting hand in a recent tourney. I think I put myself in a tough spot with the limp, but I'd like to focus more on the decision at the end.

I have ~65000 out of 420,000 in play at the event. There are 17 people left, so I'm either big stack or 2nd.

Immediately to my left is a player with about 46,000. So he can do some damage if I get too frisky. He's been solid player. Since I got the big stack I've been a bit of a bully with it.

Blinds are 1k/2k with no antes. I'm UTG +2. I look down at TT and decide to slow play instead of bully as folks are just folding to my raises PF. I know I should raise here, and that would have changed the decision, but I want to focus on the second decision.

Okay. So I limp. The solid player to my left raises to 9k, into the 3k pot. Pretty standard. Folds around to the button. Everyone knows her and has pretty much called her a rock. The previous all-in I saw from her was with KK vs JJ and she doubled.

Button raises to 22k, all in.

I tank. I would have a MUCH better idea where I was if I had raised, but this is where I am. I can't call. I either ship and hope the player to my left folds and maintains his last 36K, or he calls and I'm in serious jeopardy to lose a huge pot.

What do you do? Ship or fold?

Let's say you know for a fact they're expecting you to fold after the limp. Does that make any difference to your decision?

I think that player 1 (the 9k raise) was looking for isolation vs me and did not expect the over the top reraise. I think the over the top reraise was a strong hand as she had limited fold equity on the shove with 23k in the pot and only a 13K re-raise.

At least that was my though process at the time.

I think the first raise was to get you to fold, really. AK, maybe AQ? The re-raise, though, means a fold. From what you've said, I'd guess she would have re-raised you even if you'd raised rather than limped.

Easy old. You only have 2k in there and a tight player goes on which means you're either fucked or flipping way too often
