  • Prelude:
    I. This is the official ruling & regulations of Fairy Tail Roleplay, thus, all the rulings & regulations stated below apply to all IN CHARACTER scenarios & happenings. All users that participate in Fairy Tail Roleplay should be familiar with this documentation, as it resolve all doubts & issues regarding in character play.

  • General Roleplaying:
    I. General roleplaying within the roleplay consists of emote roleplaying, meaning: description of your action lines does matter, as apposed to speed of your action lines — it's not a competition, but a bit of fun within a friendly, stable community. For those who are anti-emote in roleplaying, descriptive is a secondary action, but is not encouraged as the roleplay is mainly a emote based one.

II. When you're stationed within an in character room, it is MANDATORY that you remain in character; Those who are caught out of character within in character rooms will be punished with a strike... And continuous out of character within an in character room could even result in an unspecified ban. We urge those who wish to be out of character to remain in the main or take your conversation to the in game PM system.

III. The roleplaying bestows standard ruling such as, any specific person must use either - or * when stating action lines, within an in character scene; Lines that are not complete with either two can furthermore be voided by the opposing roleplayer — as action lines MUST start and end with either one of the two specific ways.

IV. There is a word limit of 8 or more words within any specific scene, whether it is a combat scene or merely none fighting based; In cases where you are doing minor roleplaying such as waving, shaking hands or sighing it's acceptable to do lines with considerably less words. Major scene lines that do not have at least 8 words within an action line will be automatically VOID and you will need to re-do the action line.

    V. An action line that contains, or is considered two actions would be considered a void action line; Unless the user is roleplaying with 12 or more words. However, within the circumstances if a user is performing full bars with two actions there's a strict ruling that it cannot be two major actions in one line, such as, within a double action line you could move toward an opponent and attack, but, you could not attack and hit an opponent within a single line. A double action line must consist of a minor action and a major, one that contains two major actions will be voided.

VI. When a stationary person is stated under either AFK or OOC within their motto is not eligible to be attacked, and/or to deal attacks; Having stated either of the two options the person is officially out of play and will not suffer any attacks dealt to he/she during the time that the according person is stated to be either AFK or OOC. If a person cannot provide evidence of being AFK or OOC and is attacked, sadly the attack will be considered valid. Furthermore, if you're AFK or OOC you're encouraged to go to the main room until you've returned in character.

VII. As stated in the prelude, Fairy Tail Roleplay identifies itself as a Emote roleplaying community; However, in which case two people do not wish to descriptive roleplay, both parties can agree to emote roleplay. Although, BOTH parties must agree to this!

    VIII.
+1 line to perform an action (attack, defend, bind, etc.), depending on the situation when it's your turn.
+10 lines to kill an opponent.
