Farmland

Regular Forum Prairies
A vast, rolling grassland suited best for farming and ranching. Hunters and fishers tend to find their hands empty here and forestry is a difficult task. Endless blue skies and swaying grasses fill the spaces between homesteads while creeks and rivers can be spotted by the trees that line their banks.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Foothills
A paradise for hunters and fishers, the foothills lie at the base of the mountains, demarcated by rolling hills topped with a mix of conifer and deciduous trees seperated by fertile meadows. Game is plentiful and ranchers flourish in the area. Farming is difficult here and gardening has it's troubles, however there is often money to be made by forestry in the area.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Mountains
Magnificent in their towering glory, the mountains provide excellent mining and fishing opportunities, although farming and gardening are often difficult in the cold mountain passes. Some hunters can be found braving the mountain passes and, while difficult, some are able to bring trees down out of the mountains.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Badlands
Where the prairies meet arid scrubland, the badlands are formed. Beautiful rock formations and cacti fill the coulees and valleys, worn away from errosion. Some miners find their luck in those hoodoos, and salt flats often prove profitable for the hard working. Farmers and ranchers can find success on the grasslands between the coulees and gardens thrive so long as they can get enough water.

Rosecreek

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Rosecreek Hotel
A fine, two story establishment with a bar downstairs, it was opened by Mr. Thomas Cartwright, who resides in the finest suite with his sister Madeline. Warm food, stiff drinks, and soft beds abound, and for the right price, Mr. Cartwright can order in luxery gods that are often hard to find around Rosecreek.

Owned by a pair of ingenius sisters, Rosecreek's General Store is filled to the brim with supplies and trinkets alike. Margaret and Celine Bonaparte came west with their parents and, after their parents died when they were in their teens, they sold the family farm and moved into town to take over the general store, which has brought them nothing but success.

Mallory Mead and her partner Estevan run the stockyard in Rosecreek, where horses, cows, pigs, and sheep can be found for sale. If you have any stock to sell, they would be happy to do it - for a commission, of course.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Rosecreek Ranches
One of hte original landowners in the area, Greta Golrin is hte last of her family and runs Rosecreek Ranches with a firm hand. Her nephew is set to take over for her when she retires, but until that point she is more than happy to help new settlers in the area. Quite often she has chicks, hens, puppies, and kittens to give away for free or for a nominal fee. Her opinion is also quite respected in the area.
