Though the action-comedy isn't expected to return until March 2010 - after NBC's Winter Olympics coverage has wrapped - cast and crew will commence production on the hard-earned Season 3 in August. That way, "We will be ready to come back whenever we're asked to come back," Vik Sahay (who plays the Buy More's morally challenged Lester) said during a visit with TVGuide.com. "And that's good to know." What's also good to know is that Chuck's 13-episode order could be super-sized if the series returns to strong ratings. "That's the hope," says Sahay. "NBC boss Ben Silverman said he'll push us into the summer with a back nine order, so we're planning on making the shows that good." Source: TV Guide Online |

- [Zachary Levi] let slip a very spoilery tease about next season's Chuck. It involves the new kung fu-esque intersect in his brain. Apparently, there are some kinks to be worked out. Source: The Ausiello Files |

[Because of budget cuts,] "we might have certain episodes where Chuck's mission is such that we don't get the opportunity to go to the Buy More as much," [reveals exec producer Josh Schwartz]. [...] Chuck, Sarah, and Casey are in all episodes. [...] Chuck having the Intersect in his head will severely complicate their ability to be a couple [with Sarah]... And look for a potential new love interest on the show. Someone who could triangulate between a couple of characters. Source: The Ausiello Files |
