Hey, guys! I am a HUGE FNL fan and know that it has been renewed for another two seasons, but am unclear on when Season Four will air. I think they'll be doing the DirecTV thing again and airing it there first and then on NBC in the Spring, but does anyone know for sure when? Thanks! |

I am also a huge fan of this show. I don't know how/when it will be aired, thought I hope its not the direcTV first route again....that just means a longer wait for me. I am super curious about how they plan to do things next season. Most of the characters graduated and are moving on....it will be very interesting to see how things go. |

I wondered the same thing, Ari. We've already seen Jason and Smash move on. Will Matt, Tyra, Lyla, and Riggins be gone next season? Oh man, I hope not! We must have Tim Riggins, LOL!

You are right Lisa, the show wouldn't be the same without Riggins! Love him! |

Their doing the DirectTV route again. The show got renewed for 2 more seasons only b/c of the DirectTV deal. Friday night lights gets 2 season deal As for when it will be airing on NBC here is what TVGuide was told by NBC: And while NBC recently trumpeted news of Friday Night Lights' two-season renewal, Coach Taylor won't call another play until summer 2010 — at least as far as NBC viewers are concerned. Production partner DirecTV likely will unspool FNL sooner, perhaps as early as October (as it did last year). A DirecTV rep offered no official word on the dishcaster's premiere plans for the acclaimed drama. EW's Ausiello and Taylor Kitsch are saying he is staying on the show. As for the other people this link says who is staying and who is going. Who's staying and who's going from FNL I love the show and excited to see it return. |

I love this show. I've only seen season 1 and have no idea if they're going to show the season 2 here (it's been over a year since they showed s1). I guess I have to roam through the internet to see if I can catch up. |

Jenni, do you have the ability to rent the DVDs? If so, I'd say go for it with seasons 2 and 3! Although, I will say that season 2 seems to veer a bit, but then season 3 is a slam dunk again like season 1. S4 won't air here until next year...

Lisa, that's a good idea too. I'm not sure that they have those dvds to rent, though. I mean I haven't even seen s1 in stores anywhere.
