Name: Lorenzo Abbraciabene Age: 20 Gender: Male Occupation: Student at the Academia dei Miracoli Interests/Hobbies: Aside from the study of Thaumaturgy, Lorenzo possesses, like many other Thaumaturges, a deep interest in the study of the natural sciences. He is also a fairly competent artist, as a byproduct of his education. Appearance: A tall, slim young man with brown hair and eyes, fair skin, straight posture, and dignified demeanor: he'd be the kind of young man maidens would dream of if not for a rather nasty, deep scar that runs from his upper lip to the middle of his left cheek, getting wider and deeper as it travels along his cheek - the result of an accident during his early, private experimentations with thaumaturgy. As nothing would truly manage to hide it, he instead displays it proudly, a sign of his commitment to Thaumaturgy. His voice is deep and slightly nasally, and his diction calm and impeccable - it combines the affectation of a nobleman with the tendency towards pretentiousness of a thaumaturge, which can either make him sound suitably regal and dignified or insufferable depending on one's liking. His privileged social status permits him to wear comfortable, elegant and distinguished clothing - no matter the outfit, he will always incorporate the Academia's blue half-cape into it. Personality: Lorenzo incarnates, in several ways, the typical manners of a Thaumaturge: proud, haughty, dogmatic in his pursuit of the understanding of reality, habited by an unquenchable curiosity and thirst for knowledge, and not quite inclined towards patience for those less versed in the naturalistic studies as himself. He is nonetheless fairly open-minded, History: Weapons/Equipment/Combat Skill: Thaumaturgy: [Detail your character's familiarity with Thaumaturgy, as well as their abilities in the Old and Young Crafts. Combat and "magical stuff" aren't ran in any truly mod-regulated fashion here, but do remember that Thaumaturgy is an extremely complicated art and that anyone is more likely to specialize in a single kind of spells rather than try and be proficient at many different kinds. Refer to the Thaumaturgy Guide to get an idea of how this stuff works. This section is optional.] Roleplay Sample: [First application only.] Edited by GKG, Mar 25 2016, 01:34 PM.
