No clue as to when mine will arrive (need the freeloader and the game to come) but I can only hope it'll be about a week on Tuesday. Who's ass am I kicking first? Also how is everybody playing? 3 ways etc.

The rumour mill is spreading like wild-fire but so far this is all the information I have: If you use the freeloader you will be able to play the American copy of Brawl on your PAL console. The freeloader will also bypass the mandatory system update that comes on the disk. Under no circumstances install that update. It will probably brick your console. The online mode will work to a degree. You SHOULD be able to play with friends, but the rumours suggest that the other modes (e.g. the random opponent mode) will NOT work. Therefore friend battles...where you know the numbers will be fine. Others will not. I can't say how the battles will fare across the pond. There may be lag between our machines and the US machines. Only time will tell. If a future system update blocks freeloader, freeloader will update their own software. If I were you Ad (because this is what I'm doing) I would buy Freeloader and an NTSC Brawl. Then when the PAL release finally gets here (who can say when it'll be though...) sell the NTSC copy and buy a PAL copy. Online may be restricted, but frankly I can live without random battles until the PAL release. At the end of the day it's up to you.

That's probably a limit of the site. Yeah. But see it's not good. My Easter break begins on the 14th. I was rather hoping Brawl would arrive for that so I could have two weeks of holiday to play. But not only that, I'm going back home for Easter so if it arrives when I'm gone I won't be there to actually collect it. I'm thinking of having it shipped to my home address, but the 31st...that's crazy. I ordered 1-4 day delivery. Gamestop reckons that it'll ship on the 10th but they might be sold out as it is. I'm torn as to what to do. As long as the title hasn't shipped I can cancel any orders though so I'll have to just see what happens. Regardless, I will have the game by the end of the month. I'll probably get to play it a couple more times before then though.

It's possible (I haven't ever been to play-asia before). That idea with the selling is a fine idea, and I will request that.

I'm torn...I could change the shipping address so it goes home, or I could leave it so it comes to me here. If it arrives ASAP then that means it'll be sent home so I'll have a three day gap or so until I get it. If it arrives after I've already gone back home then I'll miss it. Hmmm.

SSB was the only game aside from Madden that I ever could play non-stop for hours. I have only played the N64 version and I have become quite adept with Pikachu and Captain Falcon. I have never played Melee either but that looked cool as well. It'd be nice if Nintendo would pull their head out of their ass and take a moment away from smelling their own farts and release SSB on a different console. I don't see how releasing more copies would be bad.. wouldn't they sell a ton more? Although, people wouldn't buy Wii after a while... hmm.. All in all, with the exception of Wario this game looks pretty awesome.. now to find someone with Wii and convince them to buy it. XBOX 360's are the console of choice 'round my parts. Bought a Wii last night and I'm getting Brawl at the midnight release. Pit and Pokemon Trainer look naaaasty.. :ph43r:

End of march will be busy for me, and Mario Kart will be almost out by then. So meh, I'll manage without importing. Unless of course they manage to stall Euro release to fall or something.
