Administrator Posts: 480 Group: Overlords Member #1 Joined: December 6, 2007	GUYS Dude who I know from university came up to us on Friday night saying how he was getting a Japanese Wii imported on Tuesday with a copy of Brawl. Surely enough, Tuesday came and so did the phone call. The best part? He lives about five houses down from me. Anyway I went around earlier and they were playing subspace. It's FUCKING HUGE. I mean seriously, I'm talking a 12 hour at least single player campaign that requires multiple characters and tells a real story with real bad guys. It's immense. Glory was had and Sonic was unlocked so we decided to have an all sonic Brawl (I'm not too taken with Sonic though.) That evening he held a tournament at the SU bar and we had some free-for alls as well as a 20 person tourney. It's amazing guys, it truly is. The pictures...the reviews...the videos...they don't do it justice. I have played as Meta-knight (my favourite newbie, his attacks are INSANE, and he can glide so much) and I have played as Pokemon trainer (great fun). I have also experienced Diddy Kong (meh), Dedede (HUGE, I MEAN ZOMG HOW FUCKING HUGE IS THIS GUY. YOU THINK BOWSER IS BIG? FUCK) who is a tad slow. And following the tournament he told us we can come and play anytime. And he has tomorrow off as do we, so we're going to spend the DAY playing Brawl. I've experienced heaven GUO. You NEED this game. It's everything they advertised and so much more...I'm not even considering all the bonus extras....fuck.

Still pissed off Although... I wonder... Could this be the OoT of the Wii? (The game which has been delayed to hell and back and turns out to be the game of the year) Famitsu did give it a 40... I wonder what all the other big names will say...

Administrator Posts: 480 Group: Overlords Member #1 Joined: December 6, 2007	Mod-chips can brick your console though. If Nintendo releases an update and the chip is still in you loose everything. They might replace it for a fee, but just a warning. If you ever plan to actually buy a genuine game or run a genuine system update don't mod it. cloud: Ike is immense. Extremely powerful character, very good moveset. He's like Roy on acid. His final smash is amazing. Oh on final smashes: I had the fear that they would make the game too easy and as such ruin the fun. Fear not. When a smash ball appears (not that common) it becomes a free-for all where everybody on screen suddenly rushes to break it and it takes some hitting. The ball itself moves around a fair bit so the Brawl to get it is good fun. And then most characters are not instant-kills. Some are pretty useless, others are lethal. Some have to be aimed correctly. Not only that but they've slowed the speed of KOs down a tad, which more than compensates for any imbalance. @ Falco: He's not as powerful as in Melee. Still same moves though, still a decent character.

Right. Anyway, enough of this nonsense. I spent six hours playing just so I'm happy. When Kirby swallows ROB he gets his laser and shouts "beep" everytime he use it. It's hilarious. Mad scrambles for the dragoon pieces and the final smashes are fun.
