Administrator Posts: 480 Group: Overlords Member #1 Joined: December 6, 2007	Pit is a better melee fighter to be honest. His arrows don't really take with me but I'm not a range fighter personally. He has some intense standard attacks, and one of the single best recoveries in the game (he can fly for a long time). He's one of the best in Brawl by far. His final smash is lame though (angels come down and attack random places on the screen) The following all have superior recoveries though: Pit (can fly for a long time and return from a large fall) Snake (has a hover kind of recovery where he grabs on to a drone) Dedede (can jump like Kirby and then spring up higher) Sonic (springboard recovery is HUGE) ROB (has jets which he can use about twice in mid-air) Given that water is no longer fatal, it stands that recovery is easier so it takes longer to get knocked off. But counter-balanced with final smashes and Dragoon parts it all works nicely.

Not as big a fan this time (though I never was too into Link). His attacks are the same except his bow and arrow is harder to aim...his boomerang creates a whirlwhind that can get items (pretty neat) and his spin attack can be charged up now, which is pretty cool. Toon Link is better in my books but I always preffered Young Link in Melee. The only thing is his down meteor now goes too fast to control properly. Both have a good final smash though. If it hits, it's an instant KO to whoever was in the line of fire.

Administrator Posts: 480 Group: Overlords Member #1 Joined: December 6, 2007	Of the 35 so far I've played as: Mario Luigi Peach Bowser Wario Donkey Kong Diddy Kong Lucas Ike Marth Ice Climbers Olimar Meta Knight Kirby Dedede Pikachu Lucario Pokemon Trainer Samus ROB Pit Snake Sonic Link Zelda Ganondorf Toon Link Captain Falcon Game and Watch All of the others I've seen in action except for Wolf and Jiggly who have yet to be unlocked. I can only assume Wolf is a mere Fox clone though...and Jigglypuff is probably just like his Melee counterpart.

And Meta Knight can fly around Hyrule Temple without ever landing (so can ROB btw) Proof for Meta-Knight Proof for TINY ROB I've seen a complete list of all AT's (straight from the ripped disc) and no luck for Phoenix.

Administrator Posts: 480 Group: Overlords Member #1 Joined: December 6, 2007	Shadow is apparently an assist. I know this because the end credits now show all items, pokemon and assist trophies. They have to be unlocked though. Best assists are Metroid, Goroh and Gray Fox. Worst are Nintendog and Mr. Ressetti who just get in the way. And Meta Knight's recovery is much harder to do, at least I found when I played. As for Luigi, again, I'm not a huge fan. I guess people who are good with the characters could utilise that. My personal favourite recovery is ROB. He's actually one of my favourite Brawlers as well. Most people detest him but his moves aren't half bad and I've won a fair few times playing as him. His final smash is pretty lethal if you do it right.
