No pun intended (final smash, get it?) But yeah, think about how loaded this installment of smash bros is. There's so much in it. So many modes, stages, characters, options, unlockables, trophies, you name it. I was thinking, and started to wonder.. could this be the final smash? I mean, if they ever made a new one, what more could they add? Seriously. Some characters and stages yeah, but I don't know what else they could do as far as content goes. Brawl is just so... complete. |

Brawl brought us more, the next Smash will delve deeper in the Smash universe. Lots Of Brawl wishlists had 40-50 characters, so new additions should be no problem. What's left to add. Well, better Stage Builder, more varied SSE (with more cameos plz), online rankings, and more. It won't be as big of a change as Melee->Brawl, but meh. The SSB->Melee transition was bigger than that too. ...I'm just rambling because I want mah playable Ridley =( |

That may depend on if it comes out on Nintendo new console (you know there will be one) and if so, just how different that console is from the Wii. |

Actually while Brawl is a great game, there are still areas needing improvements. They could still pack more content in to make it insanely jam-packed...and they could still find new modes (SSE x2) The online certainly is poor...so here's hoping a future smash will have that sorted. Oh and the stage builder while cool could use some work. |

Doubtful though because Smash makes Nintendo lots of money and Nintendo like money almost as much as they like stringing out sequels for eternity |

uuuuh http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/howto/basic/basic02.html Also, while you guys are speaking of additions, none of that would be anything new. Improving upon Brawl's flaws would be good yes, but what could they do that's new. Of course modes though... with Smash's fighting style, you could create so many different modes and games from that stance. |

It's hard to imagine there not being another one, but that THE END after subspace was very ominous. |

I seem to remember Sakarai saying this was the last Smash game, Who knows though. Really Id perfer they go down the Rock Band route and just do DLC theres not going to be a new Rock Band till the new consoles come out (At least thats what they say You can never really trust things like that) so why couldn't Brawl do the same thing? Heck they already have Models for a bunch of other characters (the Assist trophy's) why not give them moves as a Download? |

I just saw an article where Sakurai expressed an interest in future games. He said that he refused to do them if they merely added characters and stuff...but he also said he wasn't going to give away any ideas that weren't used in Brawl because he may wish to use them on a future game. |

Seriously a smash bros. tag-team would be epic. They have it in a way with the pokemon and zelda/shiek...but if they did it right (not using the same damage counter for every team member obviously) it would be brilliant. Think of the strategies....you can bring a snappy small character in to hit up some damage and a slow hard-hitter to finish them up. And last I checked they have one trigger button going to waste... |

Not to mention potential tag moves between like characters, namely the Kongs, brothers, starfox, etc. But it sounds too much like a regular team match. |

Well you could have teams of tag-teams too. And yes...tag combos would be like final smashes only cooler. But would every pair have them or only special pairs? |
