which is totally 2012 as we all know.

But no, really, the world might just be under threat from lack of resources and overpopulation. Any predictions on how this will pan out? Or do you think that there's no threat?

World War 3, we all nuke each other off the face of the planet.

No, seriously, I do believe we're going to end via nuclear means.

I put the sexy in dyslexia.

Seems highly possible. Surely common sense will prevail?

Common sense and these world leaders don't go together.

well at least George Bush isn't in power. Him being in power was just accidents waiting to happen. 8D

As for other world leaders well... our luck's going to run out eventually isn't it.

Would it be absurd to suggest there's going to be at least one nuclear incident in the next 50 years?

Hmm, let's think here for a moment...

Sellafield/Windscale - 1957
Three Mile Island - 1979
Chernobyl - 1986

Y'know, I think we're overdue one, really. Well, there was an electrical fault at Forsmark in 2006, but that wasn't anything major as such.

I'm going to blame the French when it happens, them and their nuclear power obsession.

Our knowledge of nuclear power in general has improved a lot since 1986, mind.

Only likely possibilities are natural disasters or a nuclear accident. Even then, chances are pretty low. Unless of course, America does something stupid.

Define intentional. What if someone just elbows the nuke computer and causes a nuclear holocaust by complete accident?

In all seriousness though, I think MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) is still an important reason why the world hasn't been screwed over by nukes. Most people with sense realize that it'd screw them over along with the rest of the world. Can't expect everyone to have sense though. oD

There probably could be another accident though.

Until someone completely crazy without nothing to lose gets them, we're safe.

Politicians are definitely under the completely crazy category imo. It's just a matter of time 8D

MAD nearly screwed us up in the Cold War though, with the Cuban Missile Crisis in... ergh, 1962.

Either that, or I see one of those middle eastern terrorist groups finally going nuke happy on us.

Let's face it,
We are all going to go up with a BOOM one day. (:
I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best
I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together

Gotta agree.

Wether it's because of some dumbfucks using a bunch of nuclear missiles or George getting babies. We'll die eventually. oD
