What animal would win in a race that is 100m in water and then 100m on land? A question I've been bumming off lately, stolen from a site I frequent. |

Cheeatahs would rape 100m, but would suck in water. Any idea how Pronghorn Antelopes fair in water? |

A BIRD DAMN IT. |

I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together ~Marilyn Monroe | |

I think she means fly over it. I don't think any fliers would win if they had to actually swim it. |

Note: "100m in water" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzRIW21rvxE&feature=related So can any of those swim very well too? I can't find anythig for the fastest swimmers, but the only animals I can think of that are mainly swimmers that can do at least okay on land are: hippo, otter, penguin, polar bear |

Pond Skaters would be extremely slow on land compared to most things wouldn't they? |

Hippo's don't really 'swim', they run across the bottom of the water iirc, so their performance would probably depend on how deep the water was. Still, can't see them beating perhaps a polar bear. |

Googled the question and the debate was between a polar bear and an otter.
