This is good news for the forum, the bug that causes the prevention of promotions for mods have been fixed!

So, if any members want to be mod in GH, now is your chance, go to the Moderation area of the Request section of the forum and apply for a mod job and maybe your chance will arrive soon.

Since Gamers Heaven is closing in on it's first birthday, I was thinking of new stuff being added to the forum but I want ideas from the members first before putting any of my ideas into action.

Any suitable ideas will be taken and credited for on GH's 1st birthday, which will be on Janurary 8th.

Well, for the new site that is being worked on, we are going to have full game profiles. With those game profiles are going to be screen shots, reviews, a forum, cheats, FAQ's and Walkthroughs, etc.

What we are doing now is accepting member submitted content. You members can start gathering content for the new site. We're working on a point system for all of the submissions. No point values have been set in stone though.

To make a submission, email the content to gh.submissions@gmail.com. There really is no set format in which to submit content, just give a description in the subject line, like "Screenshots For Dynasty Warriors 6".

Some important rules to follow: All content must be original. You cannot submit some one else's review and say its your own. You cannot also take a review you wrote on another site and post it here. Some websites have a policy saying that once content is submitted to them, its under their copyright. If you are not sure if your content on another site can be used elsewhere, talk to the site Administrator for clarification.

So, thats really about all that I have to say about that now... If you have any questions, post them here or shot me a PM.

Well, now isn't this nice....

We are now in the works for a new website. A custom website in which we will code ourselves. I'm going to be working on the main framework for it for the next couple days, just to get started. It's going to take a while, but we will get it done.

What We Will Need
Does anyone have a computer that is hooked up to the internet and on 24/7 that we could use for a source server? This will be used so that everybody involved with the project will have access to the source files, either through FTP of CVS.

Now, although we would appreciate any help, the framework that I'm going to write will be very complex. I'm planning on making multiple classes for just about everything. Like one for posts, one for threads, etc.

I also plan on using the Smarty template engine for the site as well.
