What's your favourite manga? Simple question. I have two: #1: FAKE! A charming yaoi about two gay police officers in America (forgotten where) It's such a beautiful story and you really engage with the characters. Randy Ryo Mclean SHOULD be a blonde as he acts it so well, but you can't have everything. Warnings: Contains many scenes of two men kissing and stuff. #2: Dragonball Z The original Genius creation of Genius Akira Toriyama. Thanks to the American dubbing services a lot is missed in the anime. Thankfully the manga remains true to the original writings of our master storyteller. Viewers may be suprised at the number of episodes and the whole Garlic Jr saga being missing from the manga. The reason is that the series was being made shortly after Dragonball Z began appearing in Shounen Jump! magazine. pretty soon the animation caught up with the manga. Thankfully, genius Toriyama-sama penned in some scenes for them to work on whilst he got ahead. |

Well, Ragnarok for me but that's a Manwah which is different. I'm currently reading the Kingdom Hearts Graphic novel series and it's a very short version of the game. |

Magic Knight Rayeart by CLAMP I never expected the story to turn out the way it did. It was the first manga that ever managed to make me  too.Angel Sanctuary by Kaori Yuki The story is hard to put in words, but I seriously recommend reading this for yourself. I'm a great fan of Clamp's and Kaori Yuki's works by now. They are incredible in drawing style and story  Expect the unexpected with those two mangaka. EDIT: The best shonen-ai/yaoi manga I've read so far - or at least the sweetest one - is called "My little butterfly" or something like that. I have no idea what it is called in english so I simply translated the german title to english. Another favourite of mine is "Only the ring finger knows" ^o^ |

me too  makes me interested in it, actually  *confession* while I hate chick flicks, I'm an absolute sucker for Shoujo. Kiss in the Blue is so far my favourite manga, but I also love Priceless (could've been a bit longer though), reading up on the Naruto manga (feels like I'm getting spoilers but not really xD), Haru Sari (fave doushinji) and Can't Lose You, though I can't find anywhere to read the other books (only read the first one because it was in the school library). Anyone have any idea on where I could find it? |
