It’s true, everyone’s favorite “Titanic” steerage band is HERE, kicking off our 10th anniversary with their legendary powerhouse show, loved by fans of all ages! And as if this isn’t awesome enough, Fling favorites Scythian will be our opening act for the evening. This is a powerful combo of Celtic kicks you won’t want to miss!!

This will be my 3rd Celtic Fling and it's great every year! This year's looking to be really good too! A whole bunch of great bands are coming! I will (hopefully if I can get the money) be there for the whole weekend with my friend. The bands I am most excited about seeing are (in no particular order) Coyote Run, Enter The Haggis, Tartan Terrors, Greenwich Meantime, Barley Juice, Ceann, and Scythian. I am somewhat sad that Icewagon Flu won't be there. They were always fun to watch! If you're going be sure to check out the Tartan Terrors. While their music isn't anything special they are HILARIOUS! If you're lucky you might even get to see them preform "If I were not a Tartan Terror..." That skit is just the funniest thing ever. Get there early though or you might not get a seat.
When planning your schedule for the Fling be sure to take a look at the map and try not to plan things too close together timewise that are far apart geographically.
The best stages (in my opinion) are The Swashbuckler (but it's SMALL, you'll probably see Scythian there. That's where they've been the past two years), the Globe (lots of seating but it'll still fill up if they put the Tartan Terrors there also they usually have the Ceili there) and Boarshead. The Chessboard is the worst stage only because it's so high up and there's a big chessboard between the band and the seats. People tend to dance drunkenly on the chessboard so don't expect to sit there. Enter the Haggis got that stage last year and I honestly hope they don't again. They're too good for that stage!
