Abandoned City of Vyarham [Island]; "A mysterious island near the outer ring"

This city took place at an island near the outer ring of Promethic region. The island was filled with [magical fog] that shroud it. No ones can visit or even see the island if the fog still surround it. People that moving using sea transportation like ship or boat can see the fog, but theres only two possibility if they move throught the fog. First, they will move pass through it and found nothing. And the second, if they got a bad luck, they never come out again.
There is those times, when the fog got dispersed, and people can see the island. That definitely was a bad sign. At those times, the lunatic, monsterousity and unholy creatures can cross the sea and invading or threatening nearest settlement. At these times, the [Serpents of Akasha] will ward off those invaders.

Permission and travel to Vyarham only conducted by Serpents of Akasha. For that too, DM might say 'after some research we know when the fog got dispersed' as one of requirement for permission. It might need a crew of a large ship for conducting exploration there.
Meta and Guidelines
 

Reason to go:

  • Research
  • Collecting the lost artefact
  • Sign of monster that might grow stronger if left unchecked


Environtmental effect:

  • Corrupted air. Around beach its still fine. But if go to the city, DM might make an evironmental effect like whos go there must roll some con save or else get poisoned etc. Or your line of sight will be limited etc. (Depends on DM)
  • Limited or no long rest. Cos of frequently monster appearance there, unless use some kind of magic or using specific building/room as barrier, no ones can have a long rest. (Its also limited by type of corrupted air).
  • Hard for short rest. Same as long rest. But for short rest, the party can conduct without some magic and building as barrier. They must in turn watch for danger and take turn for rest. The ones in watch might need some skill challange or got some kind of damage/bad effect.
  • Corrupted monster. Most monster in this region is considered cursed or corrupted entity. DM might portray it to their perspective to it. There might be exception for special entity and Blue Breakers.
