This is the current list of abilities that are not allowed to be used by players in GAM. These abilities will also be avoided by the GM whenever possible.

Reality manipulation
Fate Dictation
Omnipotence
Omnisapience
Time travel (at least, to the extent where you can change past events)

Well, if you change past events, the future doesn't really change, it's just that you create a new timeline, where things go differently, while your original timeline is still intact.

If we stuck to the timeline where things didn't change, then the power of the character with time travel would be kind of useless/without results that affect the game much.

Unless they can go back and witness who murdered somebody, like our own mystery murder case here .... :P

Or it functioned like how it normally does in comics, which is to say, it either has no real effect on present events, or it causes a catastrophic change.

Or, you know, just kinda accept it's off limits and leave it at that...

Certain time powers would be allowed. Stopping time for a bit, sensing alterations in time, limited foresight (e.g. A few seconds, allowing an advantage in fights) etc would be ok. It only really causes issues when it results in players having to rewrite entire issues because someone chose to go back in time and kill a character.
