Here's a few simple rules that shouldn't be a problem. They're all pretty much common sense and common courstesy, so no one should have a problem with them. 1. Do unto others as you would have done unto you. This means don't be a jerk. If you want to disagree with what someone says, do so respectfully. 2. Don't swear. Whether or not you feel profanity is acceptable, some people may be offended by it. It's unneccessary, so don't use it. 3. Don't post porn on the site. 4. If you post a link to site that some readers might find objectionable, mention that when you give the link. Something like "Warning: this link has some profanity" will suffice. These are basic principles. Violate them, and the moderators might have to moderate your post. Insist on breaking them, and we'll have to ban you. We're not out to be the thought police, we just want to keep things simple. |
