Here's a novella I co-authored with a guy named Pete. It's long. It can be considered funny. It's still a bit rough. Due to its size, it's an attachment only. *Edit* I suppose I should tell you what the actual attachment is. It's common courtesy, and you should tell people what attachments are so they know whether to bother downloading or not. Hat is a story written in our best attempt at British humor. British accents were immitated as well as was possible (I'd appreciate if someone from Britain could help us Englandize our work. It is roughly 40 pages long and is not intended to be read in one sitting. Overdose sets in after a while The story follows an idealistic but naive man in modern England as he seeks to become a knight, getting together a party of characters. Along the way they go on a series of hilarious adventures. At no point in this story will you find anything approaching plot, deep themes, high-quality writing, or anything a literature professor would actually condone. You will find humor. In fact, almost every sentence is either funny in and of itself or helps set up another line to be funny. We'd both been reading Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy[/] prior to this, and it influenced our writing. We tried to immitate Douglas Adams' quirky, random humour. Expect ridiculous things to happen for even more ridiculous reasons. If you don't like it right away, you'll know to quit before the second chapter, but if you like it and keep going you'll probably get sucked in. Edited by Cameron, 3 Mar 2009, 12:55 AM.
