When you do things like feeling emotion and thinking objective you don't even have to think about doing it. It all becomes subliminal in your acting. Don't be conscious of all the principles of acting once you learn them. Trust your body, your body can do many things for you. Your body remembers. Don't think dialogue, think objective. Thinking objective saves you from making a lot of mistakes. In character forget words, think objective. Serve the authors intention. Think objective, the body knows what to do. sub.lim.i.nal Psychlogical existing or operating below the threshold of consciousness; being or employing stimuli insufficiently intense to produce a discrete sensation but often being or designed to be intense enough to influence the mental processes or the behavior of the individual. well thats the end of the notes but i want to tell you -its AMAZING how you wire your body through repitition to not only "remember" behaviour but to behave on autopilot. it all sounds a bit airy fairy untill i eventually did a few learnt (after much practise) audition monologes using the feel,objective,do. one of them is dramatic i will testify I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO AVOID REACTING in BOTH EMOTION AND BEHAVIOUR in the same circumstance,no way just cannot help it now. think of the video games some people play? killing little girls for power ?
