Two had more story, but it was a little challenging to figure out at first. Plot hole: You know how the mail came through the slot? The mailman would've actually had to go into the house and put the mail in the slot. Also, why would you have a mail slot on a basement door anyway? Also, the ending of MB2 wasn't nearly as epic as the end of MB1. The reason "thanks to my friend of course" was such a great quote was that it not only gave the main character an attitude, but it also showed you Spoiler: click to toggle that the main character was the other monster . In MB2, that quote was used again, but it really didn't have all the meaning that it did in the first game, which was kinda sad.
